So happy for you @Teenie19. Congratulations and thank you for all your wonderful contributions and insight. Teenie19: Dear Nairaland family,
It has finally dropped ooooo! Glory be to God Almighty!!!!
Sister's application AOR: Feb 11 2021 Program: Practical nursing May 2021 (Sheridan college)- clearly can't go for May 2021 anymore due to delay, will go for Jan 2022 session! Upfront medical : April 28, 2021 ( we said let's do medical to see if it will speed things up, lol jokes) Medical passed: June 14, 2021 (just see how long it took them to update medical!) Eligibility started: July 23, 2021 PPR and correspondence letter: this morning July 27th @ 4:34am!
What a wait! Basically this application took 5 months and 16 days. I remember I considered withdrawing the application at some point, but you all encouraged me to hold on! During this waiting period, 3 gcms notes were ordered and the fourth one has been ordered as well. All the gcms notes received didn't have much info as eligibility was blank. Each time I got the gcms notes, I was always disappointed that eligibility was blank. Now that I think of it, I guess it's not a bad thing...
I just want to use this medium to thank everyone for their support through out this journey! This is a wonderful platform and we all draw strength and hope from one another! One thing that helped me during the long wait was seeing other people's approval postings. I was always encouraged by those success stories. I remember telling myself that my testimony was near when DD097 and demure got approved as we all applied around the same time and faced this delay..
In short, this is a wonderful platform and I hope more people get to know about the wonderful support we have here! Thanks to all the gurus and everyone that tries to assist others with their questions! If you have any questions for me , please feel free to ask here so others can learn from it ! I'm rooting for all my co- February applicants and any one with a delayed application and of course everyone on here , that you will all get a favourable response soon in Jesus name!
Cheers to more success stories ! |

Good Afternoon,
Please I have a question for the gurus in the house:
If someone has a Masters in Risk Management and an undergrad in Economics and statistics. Is it advisable to go ahead and apply for a Data analytics program (certificate)? What course would you please recommend.
Thank you so much. |

ogunleyesijibomi: Kindly assist me. .. I submitted application.on 13 of Feb 2021 , Received NSE request on 26-Feb 2021. I submitted test of English Waiver letter from college in Canada and my University here in Nigeria on 6th of March 2021 and ever since then have not received any message. Can someone bail me out? School resumes 3rd of May 2021.. I mean few weeks time? 1Are my experiencing delay as a result of waiver letter I submitted instead of IELTS? 2Can I still send a webform about why i couldn't write IELTS? 3 though i wrote IELTS but had overall band of 5.5 Soni decided not to submit. what's my faith with test of English Waiver letter I submitted. 4.. the school told me to calm down n made me understand they have a way to make me cover missed classes.. Submitted the same day: I included IELTS, MBS and have done upfront medical and still nothing. So no. Processing times are taking longer. It will end in praise. |

Teenie19: Hello,
Did you defer your admission to September yet? I am applying for my sister and I have advised her to defer her application to September. It seems right now the processing time is about 3 months ..so I think Feb applicants might only hear back sometimes in May. which will be too late to start May session... It's also my sisters application. Her school had sent this email stating she can still start her semester pending the time she gets her study permit application up until July 16, 2021. I think that is what she is going to do. "If you have applied for a study permit and have not received your approval, you can still start your semester: Please reply to this email with a copy of your study permit application. This can be a screen shot of your application. You must apply for a study permit by Friday May 14, 2021. Classes start on May 3, 2021. Please start attending classes, online, on May 3rd. You have until July 16, 2021 to receive your study permit approval. As soon as you receive it, please email us a copy. If you don’t receive an approval by July 16, 2021, you are eligible for a deferral, as long as you have notified us of your application by Friday May 14, 2021. Please continue to attend all classes virtually, starting May 3rd" |

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to find out if anyone has successfully dealt with a 5 year ban. How they addressed it and the process they took?
The 5 year ban was as a result of misrepresentation.
Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you. |
