Nigerian troops on Tuesday carried out a daring and precise operation on Boko Haram’s stronghold of Sambisa Forest and rescued about 300 women amongbwhom were believed to be the Chibok schoolgirls kidnapped over a year ago by Boko Haram insurgents. No fewer than three major terrorists’ camps were also destroyed in the well-coordinated attacks that include the raid of the notorious Tokumbere camp in the Sambisa Forest. Confirming the success of the operation, Director of Defence Information, Major-General Chris Olukolade said he could not confirm the identity of the freed victims and their origins, adding that he could not state if any of them was from Chibok until after thorough screening and proper investigations. According to him, “I can only confirm the rescued this afternoon of 200 girls and 93 women in different camps in the forest. “We are yet to determine their origin as all the freed persons are now being screened and profiled. Please don’t misquote me on their origin. We will provide more details later.” Meanwhile, at least 17 people and five others were killed by suspected members of the blood-lust insurgents in Marguba community and other surrounding villages of Beneshiekh, the headquarters of Kaga local government area of Borno state. The insurgents according to sources also injured many residents after setting ablaze several houses mostly thatched roofs before looting foodstuff and livestock. Beneshiekh is North-West and about 76 kilometers drive from Maiduguri, the state capital. It is located on the fringes of Sambisa forest along Maiduguri- Damaturu- Kano road which have witnessed series of deadly attacks by the terrorists. This development is coming barely 24 hours after some group of insurgents laid ambush on some returning residents, killing 21 in Bultaram village of Gujba council area of the state while attempting to return to their sacked village to evacuate their abandoned foodstuff and livestock. Fleeing residents who are now taking refuge in Beneshiekh town say that “the insurgents came from Sambisa forest axis and stormed the villages on Monday evening, wrecked havoc as they had a field day without confrontation”. Firstly this is my first post on this section of the forum after going through So many threads.... I want to know your mind about this ish of mine,. I have this babe I've known not too long which I later had interest in her on the long run, but she's too fond of guys So I've been not too courageous to go speak with her coz it's either I see her hanging around with some male peeps (she hangs with mostly males) . I've got sth on my mind like go for this babe but I always get discouraged seeing her like that, what can I do just to get her or even get her off the too much male stuff? Good morning |

Not so long while we brought the report of the fire outbreak at the under bridge of One of Ibadan popular provinces Molete, we just got another alert reporting from Plateau state in Jos. AS gunmen continued their onslaught on the natives in Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State, six people were ambushed over the weekend by gunmen suspected by the Fulani herdsmen and killed in a barbaric way, while most farmers in the council have deserted their farms for fear of being attacked by the marauders. The Saturday attack has now brought the number of those killed to 32. A source close to the local government told Sunday Tribune that the rampaging gunmen waylaid some groups of people, mostly women and children, who were on their way from Shonong village to Badok to grind millet and corn and snuffed life out of them. The source stated that the gunmen armed with sophisticated weapons, who had been laying siege to the community, bounced on them and hacked six of them to death, while others fled into the bush with various degrees of injuries, adding that the remains of those killed were discovered by passers-by who raised an alarm as a result of the gory incident. It was further gathered that people of Bachit district of the local government have deserted their farms for fear of being attacked by the gunmen, while most of the agile farmers have equally relocated to another settlement for farming. Majority Leader, Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon. Daniel Dem, representing the constituency, told Sunday Tribune that the six victims were ambushed on their way to grind millet in the neighouring village . Hon. Dem, who said the plan of the suspected Fulani herdsmen was to terrorize the people and force them to leave their villages, said the happenings in Riyom Local Government could be likened to the act of terrorism in vogue in the North-Eastern part of the country. “Attack on our people is becoming unbearable, they have now resorted to waylaying people on their to farm. In the past one week quite a number of natives had been killed through this barbaric method, farmers can no longer go farm, they have declare war on the community without any reason. “These terrorists are being aided by some herdsmen in our midst, they are so rude and merciless that they kill anybody that comes their ways, including children and pregnant women. The security men should be more proactive and be ready to do more in term of policing the community,” he said He debunked the impression being created that the incessant attack on the natives was as a result of cattle rustling, adding that those behind the insinuation were not being fair to the people and were completely ignorant of happenings in the local government.  News reaching us from confirmed source made it known that so many have lost their lives as a fuel Tanker fell at the popular over bridge at Molete a busy route known for its economic uses. Right now, not more than 60 have been burnt beyond recognition in the saddened disaster which happened just this late evening. The fuel tanker was confirmed to be coming up from challenge which then had a failed break which in turn becomes this huge incident that has cost some families out there to late night cry. Security operatives have been on ground to make sure things go the right way and to ensure there are more security for lives and properties.
