A pastor from Delta state says he would not compromise his distaste for alcohol and reacted angrily at a church members’ wedding reception.

The unusual incident was witnessed at a wedding this past weekend in Delta state after the pastor who conducted the wedding was disappointed by the couple.

According to journalist, Sapele Oghenek, the pastor became angry after seeing the assorted alcoholic drinks the couple brought for their wedding reception against their church principles and beliefs.

The pastor reportedly gave the couple some time to remove all the drinks at the wedding event – when the time had elapsed and the drinks had not yet been removed, the pastor ordered all the church members to leave the reception.

The pastor and his members were on their way going before the couple begged them and finally removed all the drinks, that was when the pastor came back to the reception.

Liverpool forward, Sadio Mane has sent 300 Liverpool shirts to his home town in Senegal for fans to wear during Saturday’s Champions League final against Real Madrid.

Nigerian cross-dresser, Okuneye Idris Olarenwaju, popularly known by his entertainment name Bobrisky, has berated the controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo for attacking top blogger, Linda Ikeji on her trending pregnancy story.


It has been reported that Kemi Olunloyo accused Linda of wearing a prosthetic bump after Linda Ikeji revealed her six-month-old baby bump on Sunday with a lengthy emotional post, chronicling her journey and her excitement when she found out she was pregnant.

She said Ikeji was neither engaged nor pregnant.

However, Linda in a post addressing Kemi Olunoyo’s claim queried why someone who she helped while in prison could utter false claims about her pregnancy.

Speaking on the recent face off, the cross dresser urged Kemi Olunloyo to stop insulting her. He said Linda does not deserve the insult hurled at her.

Nigerian singer, Daniel Anidugbe, popularly known as Kiss Daniel, has changed his stage name.

The artiste on Tuesday afternoon changed his stage name to Kizz Daniel from Kiss Daniel.

American pop singer Beyoncé has purchased her own church in New Orleans, according to TMZ. The music star is now the owner of a 7,500 square foot house of worship, which was listed at $850,000.


According to the report, the church was built in the early 1900s. It has not been in use recently after its "church members" passed away.


The gossip site suggests that Bey could be looking to revive the church, but there are no specifics of what she has planned for the property.

Nigerian singer Davido has sealed an endorsement deal with Infinix mobile, makers of Infinix phones in Nigeria.

The phone makers gave announcement concerning the sealed deal between the company and the front-line act of DMW, Davido Music Worldwide on Tuesday, shortly after hinting on Twitter that they intended making the music star their brand ambassador.
