I have said it in a previous post, yorubas are wickedly tribalistic. Just see how much likes and solidarity you guys give to posts that insult and malign igbos. One would think that igbos are not Nigerians. One guy even called out faseun for assoc wit this guy who he called "the enemy". There are moderators who see these tins but keep quiet because they even hold d same opinion dat igbos are enemies. This is a big shame. They two most enlightened tribs in Nigeria made to fight over crumbs because we hate ourselves too much to ever wrk 2gether. Guess what? The president is a northerner, the senate president is a northerner (and could have been ahmed lawal if nt for pdp) the speaker is a northerner, the chief justice is a northerner. Where are we smart and intelligent southerners? O I forgot! We are insulting ourselves on nairaland! Shame!

People like you "dont get it at all"!

Look at it this way:
1.) No one tribe can "win the Presidency" all by its own people's vote. You need the votes from another region.

2.) Events in the recent past has shown that the "North" is sworn NEVER to allow an Igbo to lead this country!

3.) The North would rather collaborate with the Yorubas (in a situation where they cant occupy Aso Rock) to make a Yoruba President, than do same with an Igbo man.

Thus, the ONLY CHANCE an "Igbo" has of becoming Nigeria's President, is to court the Yorubas for their votes!

Not even "Guns" can cut it 'cos, we all canbear "arms" if need be! It may just be another rehash of 1967, God forbid sha

I know simple things ain't that obvious ...... and "obvious things ain't that simple" but the earlier the better my Igbo friends see this, the quicker we can work together!
