Stephendeals:If you nor see the special spec let me draw your attention to one; battery capacity of 4230mAh. By the way the prices are actually market friendly following the customer need. Oya compare the price to the tecno phantom9(77k). I feel getting my A5s, saving 7k and be satisfied(mad ba3 life) is best. |
The OPPO F11 Pro is currently one of the best flagship phones in the market currently all thanks to its amazing features and specs. The battery backup is equally strong as any other department of the performance. Falling in the flagship category, it leaves no stone unturned to prove the worth of a premium device. It is a device that gets people asking ‘which phone is this?. Especially when they come across its mind-blowing features and specifications. The device comes with a Li-Polymer battery that has a massive capacity of 4,000mAh, which can provide great power backup that can last for a day. It also has the benefit of VOOC fast charging technology, which can refill the battery in a short time.

Last Saturday, Biggie celebrated the first five evicted housemates from the #BBNaija ‘Pepper Dem’ season - Avala, Isilomo, Ella, KimOprah and Tuoyo. To their ultimate surprise, they were all rewarded with OPPO F11 Pro smartphones by @opponigeria, a category sponsor of the show. This gesture is OPPO’s way of fulfilling the desires of the ex-BBNaija housemates who were all in love with the F11 Pro from the Saturday night parties. The OPPO F11 Pro is equipped with many cool features, it is famous for its 48+5MP back camera which shoots brilliant portraits just like a DSLR camera and its 16MP rising selfie camera. The OPPO F11 Pro is available at N139,000 for purchase at SLOT and Pointek stores and also online on Jumia and Konga. Follow @opponigeria to know more. . #OPPOXBBN #OPPOF11Pro #BBNaija

The 48+5MP camera is almost the most celebrated feature of the OPPO F11Pro. The camera has been argued to be at par with DSLR cameras. This is a very strong claim for a mobile phone to make. As it is well known, OPPO makes giant strides in innovation, especially in camera innovation. OPPO was the first brand to create the motorized camera in 2004. OPPO also pioneered the selfie beautification and AI retouching. Even with these accolades under their belt, comparing the F11Pro with a DSLR seems a little too much of a claim. Hence with the assistance of a professional photographer, we would be finding out if this claim is true. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELsEZZNXVVo |
So OPPO Mobile is launching the F11 Pro in Nigeria on Friday, 26th of April. OPPO mobile presently already has a device in Nigeria, the OPPO A3s. Reviews for the OPPO A3s basically say that the battery is great and the processor is fast. The OPPO F11 Pro has already launched around the world. OPPO is ranked among the top 5 global smartphone brands and is popular for its stylish smartphone designs, quality photography experience and the status symbol it provides to its users. OPPO was the first mobile brand in the world to launch smartphones with 5MP and 16MP front cameras and also the first to introduce the motorized rotating camera, the Ultra HD feature and the 5x Dual Camera Zoom technology. I believe that their coming into Nigeria would give Huawei, Tecno, Infinix and Xiaomi a run for their money, as they seem to dominate in technology. Let's discuss the OPPO mobile F11 Pro |
Same here! I really liked the design quality. I saw it at POINTEK, the camera is sharp and the colour gradient is really cool Zeus39: |
Last year Oppo launched its Realme budget sub-brand in India. The strategy seems to have been successful. Realme was India’s third biggest smartphone brand over the Diwali shopping season, according to Counterpoint Research, while IDC figures put it in fourth place for the fourth quarter of 2018 — one place ahead of Oppo itself. Now Realme is launching its first 2019 device, the Realme 3, and it’s another impressive exercise in managing to bring advanced features down to a super-low price point. For comparison, the Realme 1 only came out last May and didn’t even have a fingerprint sensor. But the 3 could easily pass for a flagship-level device at first glance. Key to this is the 6.22-inch LCD with a “waterdrop” notch, which first showed up in Oppo’s F9 and later made its way to the OnePlus 6T. I still like the way it looks, even in this age of hole-punch displays and sliding cameras. The “chin” at the bottom of the screen is a little larger than you’d expect on a flagship device but it isn’t a big deal, especially not for this category. While the screen isn’t going to blow you away with its 720p resolution or passable viewing angles, it’s fine in regular use. Around the back there’s a smooth curved frame with a flashy gradient interrupted only by the fingerprint sensor and vertically aligned camera module. The primary camera is 13 megapixels and the secondary sensor is 2 megapixels; Realme is touting an AI-powered ‘Nightscape’ mode, though I wouldn’t expect miracles. Other specs include a MediaTek Helio P70 processor (P60 outside India), a large 4,230mAh battery, a 13-megapixel selfie camera, and up to 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The Realme 3 runs Oppo’s ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9 Pie, which interestingly enough moves the company’s software a little bit closer to “stock” Android with standard swiping gestures and an app drawer. The Realme 3 will be priced at Rs. 8,999 (~$125) for a model with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, while Rs. 10,999 (~$155) gets you twice the storage and an extra gigabyte of RAM. That’s aggressive pricing, undercutting strong competitors like Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 7. The Realme 3 should be available on Flipkart shortly. |
The Oppo foldable phone has just been shown off in new images which reveal a pop-up camera that could mean a real edge-to-edge display as a world first for foldable phones, something even the Samsung Galaxy Fold hasn't managed. The Oppo foldable phone has been found in documents and patents unearthed by LetsGoDigital. The images were then mocked up based on the details that were revealed from those papers – specifically about design and build. Oppo has already officially shared its plans to build a foldable phone but, until now, little else has been known about the fabled device. Many model variations were applied for in the patents but one thing that is common is the fact that when folded the screen will remain on the outside. So the large tablet-like display folds leaving a screen on the front and back of the phone. That near full-screen display is achieved by putting the selfie camera and rear camera all in one module that slides up out of the phone's top. We've already seen this sliding camera design in current phones, just none that fold, yet. Expect to hear more on this as foldable phones become the norm in 2019.

Hundreds of musicians in Indonesia have lashed out against what they say is a ludicrous draft bill that could “destroy” freedom of expression. Among the most contentious aspects of the draft is Article 5, which outlaws “negative foreign influences” as well as blasphemous or pornographic content, punishable by imprisonment or a fine. The article states: “In creating, everyone is prohibited from […] bringing negative influences from foreign cultures or demeaning a human being’s dignity.” Jerinx, a member of the Indonesian punk-rock band Superman is Dead, is one of 200 musicians who have criticised the proposed legislation. Writing on his Instagram account, Jerinx said the draft bill would “rape his rights of freedom of expression, and eventually destroy them”. The Balinese drummer also pointed to what he described as “high-level hypocrisy” from the Indonesian government, given that President Joko Widodo is widely known as a fan of foreign heavy metal bands such as Metallica. The exact target of the bill is unclear, although there is occasional uproar about the perceived immorality of foreign popstars. In December a TV ad featuring members of the K-pop all girl band, Blackpink, which showed them wearing miniskirts and short dresses, was pulled after the broadcasting commission said it flouted decency and moral norms. In 2012 Lady Gaga was forced to cancel a sold-out concert in Jakarta after Islamic hardliners threatened to physically stop her from getting off the plane. Indonesian musician Kartika Jahja said the bill, which “came out of nowhere”, had in recent days united artists from across the country and musical spectrum to form a coalition to reject the bill. “Everyone is concerned because there are so many problematic chapters inside the draft,” Jahja told the Guardian, “For me personally the first one is the chapter that regulates the content of music, that it cannot contain negative influences from the West and blasphemy and so on. I think that is a very dangerous ground, if that bill is passed, to silence musicians because music is one of the greatest and biggest agitators for various social and political movements in this country.” The coalition launched a petition against the draft law on change.org on Sunday evening, which by Monday had been signed by more than 65,000 people. In addition to overlapping with existing copyright and other laws, the draft bill on music further contradicts Indonesia’s 1945 Constitution, which upholds freedom of expression in a democratic state, the petition states. Designated as a priority bill by the House of Representatives, the draft bill has been widely condemned online, trending on Twitter with the hashtag #TolakRUUPermusikan, which translates as: “reject the draft music law”. Concerned the bill will “shackle freedom of expression”, a group of Indonesian musicians met with lawmakers to discuss the it last week, calling for comprehensive discussion with artists and industry players and further consideration before the legislation is tabled. |

Facebook users have continued to rise despite a series of data privacy scandals and criticism over its attempt to stem toxic content. The social media giant said the number of people who logged into its site at least once a month jumped 9% last year to 2.32 billion people. Fears the firm's scandals could put off advertisers also proved unfounded with annual revenues up 30% on last year. The rise came despite campaigns which urged people to shun the tech giant. Founder Mark Zuckerberg said the firm had "fundamentally changed how we run the company to focus on the biggest social issues". The strong financial performance comes amid continuing concerns over how the social media firm handles users' personal data and privacy after the Cambridge Analytica data sharing scandal and fears the network has been used as a political tool. 1. Facebook paid teens to mine device data 2. Facebook 'less popular with UK children' The company's shares have lost almost a third of their value since July when it warned about slowing revenue growth and they remain near a two-year low. But they jumped over 9% in after-hours trading after profit and revenue beat analyst forecasts. Facebook's total profit for 2018 was $22.1bn (£16.9bn), up 39% on 2017. User growth was particularly strong in India, Indonesia and the Philippines, but flat in the US and Canada. The mind boggles. In 2018 Facebook saw the Cambridge Analytica scandal, political manipulation, fake news, data breaches and accusations of deeply unethical behaviour. Despite this, profits are up by almost 40%. Facebook isn't just surviving, it's thriving. In the face of severe turbulence, Mark Zuckerberg's company has proven to be resilient. But while users appear to be turning a blind eye, the same won't be said for regulators - Facebook knows huge fines are likely coming its way. The question is how damaging those fines will be, and what other measures might be put in place that might clip the wings of a company that many lawmakers feel is too powerful. |
