Thank you oh, please don't compare them
dustmalik:
The fact that you even dare compare the two, means you don't know what you are talking about.

By the way, OPPO official pricing in Nigeria is ridiculous. They should take a queue from Xiaomi.

PhonesRe: 5 Things You Need To Know About OPPO Phones by temiregiddy: 5:14pm On Sep 17, 2019
chumsfortech:
1. The quality is always the same all over the world.

OPPO doesn’t manufacture substandard versions for the Nigerian market.
Unlike other OEMs that make phones with a subpar standard for the African and Nigerian market, OPPO mobile maintains the same standard for all their products around the world. OPPO makes sure that all their phones are of a uniform standard, hence ensuring that all their consumers, irrespective of their country and continent, have the same product.
This is an indication that they recognize and value all their customers alike and are interested in making their innovations accessible to all.

2. The 2-year warranty is always a standard whether the phone costs 35k or 139k.

Product warranty is an issue that a lot of OEM battle with. Most of them provide warranty based on the price range of the phone, hence some of their low-cost products have very little warranty duration or none at all.
This is not the case with OPPO mobile. All OPPO smartphones come with a 2-year warranty regardless of the purchase price. Whether it is their cheapest smartphone, the A3s which sells for N34,900, or the F11Pro which goes for N139,000, they both come with an enforceable 2-year warranty.

3. OPPO never gets hot, neither does it hang or shut down suddenly.

There are some major fears that a user has when deciding to purchase an Android smartphone, top on the list of these fears are unnecessary hanging and overheating. Some smartphones overheat even to the point of explosion. This is not the case with OPPO smartphones.
OPPO devices are innovatively designed with a heat dissipation mechanism that drastically reduces heat emission from their devices. In fact, the OPPO F11Pro has thermal gel near its CPU to completely eliminate overheating. Also with the hyper boost feature of the OPPO smartphones, there is a specialized optimization for the system, games and apps, which ensures a glitch-free performance whether you are immersed in a game, or switching between multiple apps.
With OPPO smartphones, all your fears are forever gone!

4. The battery is big in capacity, Charges fast and doesn’t discharge too.
For a country like Nigeria where electricity is an issue, a smartphone with a big and long-lasting battery is very important. OPPO smartphones do not only have big batteries that are incredibly long-lasting and sufficient to last for 18hours straight, even when with full everyday use, OPPO also has a fast charge technology that is 3 times better than that provided by every other smartphone OEM.
The VOOC charge system is a proprietary rapid-charge technology created by OPPO, which, is able to charge OPPO devices from 0 to 75% in just 30 minutes. The VOOC Flash Charge circuit technology lowers the temperature of the charging adapter and creates an interface from the adapter to the phone, which improves the speed and safety of the charge.

5. Flaunts the aesthetically appealing Color OS.
OPPO smartphones also run on a unique operating system known as the Color OS. Color OS is an operating system created by OPPO, it is based on Google's operating system; Android.
The Color OS follows the idea of borderless design to bring about the most intelligent system experience, featuring a whole new interface, from home page to app icons, font sizes to background colors. With the Color OS all OPPO smartphones, have a uniquely beautiful user interface and experience.

The OPPO smartphone experience is by far the most intuitive, intelligent and seamless and absolutely reliable experience for all users. For more information about OPPO smartphone devices, visit www.oppo.com/ng
have you all heard that the OPPO F11 pro is now 119k grin wink

I discovered that not all OPPO phones works in Nigeria. How true? so its just F11 pro and A1k and A5s?

PhonesRe: Huawei And Oppo by temiregiddy: 5:16pm On Sep 10, 2019
Mtk- one of the mad chipset
Great hd display
Perfect ppi
USB type C cable is not so available in naija market so it's better that way. Of wish without it there is prove to fast charging ability. Plastic body helps it to resist scratch and help the phone connectivity unlike metal body it drags energy bringing about quick battery exhaustion and poor finger print sensitivity.
You don't read about mobiles. Ops can attest to what I just diaclosed. Oppo phones are the best for Nigerians especially those of us who likes using our phone often and while even charging.
CirocBoi:
Phone that comes with mtk p35 processor , hd display, poor ppi, no USB type C, plastic body, no fast charge..... Rubbish....... Stop misleading people.

Baba abeg show me were you for see this rating Biko.
Chiemerie8:
This thing u are saying is out of new phone craze.

I know u like your phone, at least for now but it's damn overpriced. NO SD 450 SHOULD EVER BE SOLD ABOVE 45k

In the benchmarks the oppo a5s does not even come close to the Nokia x5 which has antutu score of 130 while the A5s is struggling with 88 but ironically enough it's more expensive.
PhonesRe: Huawei And Oppo by temiregiddy: 4:49pm On Aug 26, 2019

Dobson43:
Go for Samsung a20. That's about #51000. Samsung is strong. With resale value. Parts also easily available

There is also Huawei y7 prime. Great phone
PhonesRe: Huawei And Oppo by temiregiddy: 4:36pm On Aug 26, 2019

Go for any good Nokia phone of 30k and save the remaining 20k.

In this Lifeless administration, it's sure not a time to spend "excessively" and recklessly.

Enjoy!
PhonesRe: Huawei And Oppo by temiregiddy: 4:28pm On Aug 26, 2019
Which phone is not fast. Have a rethink cause the one am using is just the perfect description of a fast phone
Chiemerie8:
Snapdragon 450 on the A5s is too poor. Hence ITS NOT A FAST PHONE

PhonesRe: Huawei And Oppo by temiregiddy: 9:34am On Aug 26, 2019
if you want durable battery, and some other mad features just go for OPPO. huawei will soon be banned from using play store if they don't settle their issue with US
Chommieblaq:
Good evening fam
Please what Huawei or oppo phone should I go for, my budget is 50-55k.
What I look out for in a phone
Good camera for pictures and videos
Ram
Phone that supports 4g
Fastness
Battery and finally durability.

I’m currently using iPhone 6s, have used it for almost 4 years, so I need something that will last me for long, can’t afford changing phone over and over
Thanks

VICTOR4LYF:
Consider Umidigi Power
Umidigi Power is cheaper than Oppo A5s & is better than it in specs & in performance.
Umidigi Power uses Helio P35 CPU while Oppo A5s uses MTK6762 (also known as Helio P22) CPU
I guess you guys are not among the 1st five best selling smartphones brands like OPPO, so I guess the specs are not as genuine as it seems so less demand, thus less price to bribe customers.
