Eeerrrmmm. On second thoughts.. Tips on how to get a glowing skin for the big day.. One thing that has worked for me is *warm water therapy*. It gave me a glowing skin that got people asking what cream I am using. Proper way to do it.. Take a cup of warm water first thing in the morning before brushing. Do not eat anything afterwards for at least 30-45mins.. The best way to have your skin glow is by cleaning up your diet. More fruits/ veggies / water. It works better and faster than creams. You can dedicate a month for it and have your body thank you for a general improved health. |
Knock Knock Who is here? No one I guess. Lemme come and be going. |

J0hnTrevolt:No it's not. I'm sure most didn't have an idea that was why they didn't answer. Sorry about that. Besides, here's usually quiet on weekends. Please take her to see an expert as suggested. |
Sorry about that sir, please seek another opinion / hospital if the there's no improvement. |
sleit:Wow. That's so brave of you. It's good you guys are still on a good note, you never know what favors you could actually do for one another in future. I'm glad you thought it out carefully and didn't give in to pressure. I'm sure better things are coming your way soon. Keep shining. All the best ma'am. |
Hello sleit, I see you. Sorry to ask dear, did you later accept his proposal? |
Okay, it's been done. What's the way forward? It's good you're sober now. That's a good start, we can take it from there. First, you have to be very very patient with her, words alone cannot undo how much those words hurt. You have to show her in action. Try by doing the very little things that matter to us as women. Few tips.. Kiss her on her forehead at least once a day, look into her eyes and tell her how much she means to you. Buy her gifts. Try not to get angry at her mistakes or making a graver mistake to say hurtful things to her, it'll undo all these kindness from start again. Just take it slow and with time, she'll come around. Time heals all wounds. All the best sir. |
....Like twice in a week or so. But anytime it happens, I feel sad and dejected, almost would'nt be able to eat. The next day, I usually dash the food out not minding if it was much or not. During this time, I seriously wanted opening a diary to vent out my frustrations but I didn't know if I'll be consistent, so I brushed it off. There was a day I wanted to cook a badass beans porridge, with all the orishirishi, fish, plantain, crayfish, everything, everything. The beans still didn't come out well, Hmmm. It wasn't funny Aswear. So one day, I told a friend about it. She told me she's been through it too and her hubby sat her down to ask what was disturbing her, that she needed to calm down. She gave me some tips too. E. G When cooking with meat stock, don't add salt, put everything, then I taste to adjust the salt later. When cooking with locust beans, I should be careful with salt too. Some other few tips I can't recall now. It became better. I realized I was tensed trying to impress him so I easily made mistakes. I talked to him about it. Told him I didn't forget what he said to me sometimes ago and it was affecting my cooking. He apologized. My dear, I'm over it for a while now. I slay in the kitchen now and I'm proud. Don't worry, I'll share some pix with you some other time. Just thought to share, it might help someone out there. Live. Laugh. Love. |
Mogbe. I became humbled I swear. I couldn't continue all I was saying. I kept mute. If I had 10-0 before, now it is 10-100. He got me bajebaje. Like, I couldn't sleep well because I was thinking about what he said. What I couldn't fathom was the fact that, was he being real? Sebi he was still licking plate few days ago, he still complimented my fried rice just few days to that event (he was quick to put in during the fight that, he was just pretending few days ago o) or was he trying to get at me with anything too? Or better still, was it just a tiny little bit of truth? Seriously, I didn't know. That night, I promised I wouldn't give him food for 3days. Hmmm, I couldn't go through with this sha. But I was busy thinking of my life. Like every good wife, I tried to forget it and moved on. To be true with you sha, I think I said more hurtful things that night. I moved on. I tried to improve on my cooking skills. He's actually a very cool headed guy, he still eats and compliments but never apologized for the previous time, I didn't apologize too so it was fine. I used to feel happy and content when he eats and smiles. For my mind, this is a pass mark. We moved on. Until one day, I cook, plenty salt. The next day, tasteless. Another day, no salt. The too much salt episodes were more sha. Ha, abi, those people have started following me ni? Egbami. My dear husband never complained amidst all these though. The episodes weren't recurrent simultaneously, it happens... |
My frustrations in the kitchen.. While I was growing up, I thought I was a good cook and I'd make a good wife (at least in the kitchen). This thought did not just spring out from nowhere but from the fact that, I cook well, at my parents' and while I was still in school. Also, to the very least, no one has ever told me I couldn't cook well or my meals weren't tasty, instead, I get compliments (except for few times where my mum has to correct me on some little mistakes and give me tips on how to be better in it). All these flew out from the window the very first time I wanted cooking for my husband. After the almost 2weeks honeymoon at my inlaws', I was finally going to cook for him after we moved to base. Ha. Gbese. You need to see "yours sincerely good cook" being tensed with shaky hands on top Semo. Semo that I've turned seamlessly countless times. Hmmm, to the answered prayers of my dear momma that I wouldn't put her to shame of not bringing up a homely girl (wife material 1000 yards), Ose, our Semo came out well. Adupe o. Luckily, I was able to get past the stage and cook seamlessly for us and we moved on. Not until one day, I had an argument with my husband due to some misunderstandings, I was busy ranting on how he does this and that n I didn't like.. Lo n behold.. Dear hubby said.. "Sebi you don't like this, you don't like that, do you know what you do that I don't like? Your food. Your cooking. I enjoyed my food better before I married you" |
Pweetiebabe:Wow. Wow. Wow. Just seeing this. Congratulations ma'am. I can't type how much happy I am to read this. Congrats once again. Happy and sweet bumping to you. |
Stmema:We're in the same shoe. I guess you can't stop it. It's there stage and time. You also cannot be carrying the child up and down as this is their time to explore. It's your own little work to make the place baby safe (by being proactive, clean clean clean, pick anything on the floor before he does). It's hard but that's the price of being a parent. May God reward our patience and hardworking. The other mama already answered the second question. |
StrongWoman333:Yes. All immunizations from 12months are paid. Ask about it where you get yours. Check your card, all the immunization schedule is well detailed there. |
kayzat:This is absolutely normal. My ds also displayed for us when we got back from sallah break (plenty people). When we got back, he cried for like a week. Serious cry, I must not step few inches away from him n all sorts. He's back to his normal self now. Just be patient and wait it out. |
