I think there are several questions you need to answer before you can get any meaningful advice.. Why has it spanned for this long without you taking any steps? What steps have you taken personally to better the situation? Are you also a Muslim and willing to pray? What other underlying issues are there? (Because it's hard to believe this will be his only reason for him to ask you to leave his house) Hmm Most times, one sided story doesn't really click. I wish you take the best decision at the end of the day though. Good luck. |
Love is beautiful Taking one's spouse by surprise is always a hit. Give it a trial ![]() |
Congratulations. May your days be blessed child. |
Donphilex:I've tried shea butter and a pinch of salt and it worked fine. It's important the shea butter is pure, melt it and add a pinch of salt. Disclaimer: please stick to one home remedy, take your child to the hospital if there's no improvement. |
Una still dey here? What's happening? |
Mood11:Hehehehe. Think of the brighter side. When you have the right spouse, it's sincerely one of the best things that could happen to anyone, not a bed of roses though. I pray that your spouse will be a comfort and not trouble to you. |

Temitope009:I was taken to the labour room by a nurse. I called my husband immediately that I'd be needing my hospital bag. At the labor ward, I was checked and admitted. Nothing was wrong with me o. They attendants were checking me at intervals, I and baby, we were fine. They'll ask again after a while, madam, are you feeling any pains? I'll say no. As sunset approached, I was getting tired and asking them to discharge me that nothing was actually wrong with me. At around past 6pm during the shift change that same day, the new doctor was checking my file and she immediately asked to speak to I and my husband. When we met, she said, the interval between my previous cs and this is short and she wouldn't advise I go through labor. Even though the chances of the womb opening is very minimal (about 0.05%) or so, there's still a chance. She asked us to decide if we'd still wait for labour or just go into the theatre. She said it was completely our choice and she'll support any decision we make. We told her we'll get back to her. We went back and discussed as a team and a family and we made the best decision to bring him out that day. The decision was made around 7pm. My little sweetheart was brought out at 10:14pm the same day. All my pains and discomfort vanished as I heard his first cry. I'm glad I took the bold step. I'm grateful for a supportive husband. Ultimately, I'm most grateful to God for giving me a chance at motherhood. May he bless every womb that seeks. Easy peasy delivery to you all. One love |
Temitope009:Hello ladies. It's been a while in here (I've been quite busy). I'm trying to make my brand. Support a humble beginning Biko. So, like I promised, I'm here to write my second ceasarian section experience. It was on the 3rd of December, 2018. Throughout the pregnancy, I was hoping for a vaginal birth, at the same time, my mind was open to any form of birth so far I'm able to see and hold my child in my arms, not just for a split second but forever. Hence, I was very active, more active during the pregnancy than my first. So active that I could jog for an hour at 38weeks. I started most labour exercises at around 36weeks because my doctors weren't going to let me past 40weeks due to my history. According to them, if I fell in labour before then, fine, if I don't, cs. My people, na so I walk walk walk o soteeey, my baby was even used to it that he wouldn't budge. As at 38weeks, I started jumping / jogging on the spot. For where? My baby sat down gidigba inside my womb. The most I felt was a little tightening in my tummy which would relieve me almost immediately I stopped whatever exercises. At 38w5d, I asked hubby to accompany me to have a long walk. It was veeery brisk that himself was tired when we got back after am hour. Once, I read a trick, to tell the doc one is feeling somehow somehow they could at least check if there's any progress. During the walk on the previous evening, I felt some tightening which later relived me. So, when it was my turn to meet the doctor, I told her j was having contractions the previous day, she queried me on why I wasn't in the hospital, I told her it stopped. She got her gloves and all she needed. She was going to do a VE. I was happy. At least, I'd know where I stand. Alas, she told me I was 2cm dilated and I wouldn't be allowed to go home. |

ME : Drifted off again as the aneasthsia hasn't weared off completely. Some minutes or hours later, I don't know.. ME : where's my baby? Mum : She's fine. They're taking care of her. I drifted off again. I didn't know for how long. Later.. ME : Did my baby make it? Aunt : No, she nodded her head. I lost her on the 28th of October, 2017. I'll write the second experience later. |
Okay. Let me drop this here so it helps someone out there viewing this thread. I've had 2 cs. First : Oct 2017 Second : Dec 2018. First experience. I dilated till 10cm and was pushing for what seemed like forever. I was already begging the nurses to bring out my baby however it takes. I didn't mind whether it was by suction, cs or anything to ease me from the excruciating pains I was going through. I cried. Hit my hands on the wall with heavy blows. Stretched my legs out like it would fall off (that leg did not remain the same for months, I couldn't walk well with it, felt like it removed from my ball and socket joint). Oh God, how I begged to be relieved from that state (God, you're wonderful, hurray to every mother out there). Fee minutes later, the doc entered and asked why I was bleeding so much. Note: Baby had already engaged, they were seeing her head already. It was just to push her out remaining. Immediately, he said cs. All I wanted was to see myself in the theatre and he should just remove the baby anyhow he could. Or better still, he should tear me there gangan and relieve me of this pain. Alas, he finished the paperwork and everything in what seemed like forever and I was taking to the theatre. I was shouting to be injected with whatever it is they give people o. Just give it to me, at least, I wouldn't feel this pain again. I woke up some hours later.. ME : where's my baby? Mum : She's fine, they're taking care of her. ME : Drifted off again.. You might not be following the pregnancy thread. I told you this is like a diary to me. So let me drop this here for our intending brides ![]() |
We're still here for you.

Temitope009:I couldn't do this in 2017. Today, I write it to encourage any of you out there. Byedew. Pweetiebabe. That was why I felt your pains and reason I'm happy for you both today. May God deliver you safely and every pregnant woman out there. |

Who is like me and is viewing this thread? Please pop in and give me some tips to be better. Several time I've had to meet up with a deadline, I totally forget to eat or sleep until it's done. And whenever I'm under this duress of meeting up with an aim/goal, I wouldn't eat, my sleep will suffer, I'll easily not stay focused as I'm thinking of how to meet up with whatever goal. Like I told you earlier, it affected my culinary skills in the kitchen. Things will easily slip away from my mind etc. What should I do? |
Temitope009:Sorry guys, I thought no one was actually interested in the story. This is the completion. For some other reasons, Jay wasn't having it because 1. Uncle did not pass her "standard looks" criteria. 2. Uncle wasn't even tall, just some inches taller than her. Can you imagine how her dream of a tall Prince Charming would come crashing if she went for uncle? 3. Uncle was still a student. 4. Uncle is not exactly her tribe though similar. Other reasons best known to her as a lady, because we all have different standards. Uncle also, wasn't having it. He said no her or nobody. Toh. Somehow somehow sha, they fixed a meeting. They met and uncle swept her over her feet with his wonderful personality, it appeared, his personality was exactly what she wanted in a man though other things appeared off from a distance. I kid you not, they're married with 2 kids now. Uncle is now working somewhere reputable. Uncle still sings her praises and is still so much in love with her. They're happily married (at least from what we can see from a distance). |

Okay. What integrity do we have left as a nation? Let's start from we the citizens, I wouldn't start from the leaders as most of us do. As Nigerian citizens, if we compare what we do to uplift or demote our integrity worldwide, which will weigh more? Our leaders nko? Abegi, I'm tired. |
Even though I did not listen to the president's independence speech, I think PDP is just trying to play politics. All in all, it's politics jare. Oppose, Attack, Win elections. In their very very hearts, they wine and dine ![]() |
