You can do family reunion irrespective of your age. But you will need to have enough fund to cover you and your family(the figure will depend on your allien office, but will be close to x2 of what you will need alone), an apartment with required size depending on the allien office. (More or less 30m square). Shalom
exactly it always depends on the office and additionally, evidence that shows you both married and the time validity of ur resident permit...

Adding to this..

For tax class III (MARRIED), husband and wife should be registered and living in Germany. If the spouse is living outside Germany then Tax Class I (SINGLE) will be applicable.
am talking about single student bro can a student earn more than 1000 monthly for 12 months under the normal student visum? try to make research on the best tax class for student Sir... and if you work full time say u earn 1700 it just for 6 months and even if you have 2 mini jobs which will not be taxed the max you can get is 900... try work with practical not just what you see on the internet Sir..

From what I understand single people are actually taxed more in Germany.
Single student will be charged on tax 1 so if you earn below 950 you wont be taxed but you will only pay rentenversicherung (pension tax) which can be like 40 euro. but if you work above 950 let say a full time work like amazon they pay 1700 before tax and you will get 1200 after tax meaning you pay about 300 for tax and others for insurance and pension tax.. by the 3rd month of the next year you will apply for a tax refund and the government will pay you back your money for the excess tax.

are you saying since am married i will pay higher tax than single studen even when my family is in nigeria
Yes boss and if you are older than 30 you will pay higher insurance Sir.. but it has an advantage you can bring your wife in future even as a student and she won't have to pay 8k euro...

Thank you sir, I have a letter of English proficiency from my school, just Want to know if writing TOEFL will increase my chances of getting a scholarship because U.S schools consider tests like this to award scholarship. Are u currently studying in Germany sir?
Scholarships are close to impossible especially when you have not started the program in Germany because the tuition is already free and give most grants to Ph.D. students. but am sure TOEFL gives you upper chance in getting admission I can remember I wrote the English text then and applied to 8 schools and 10 courses (don't mind me I was desperate and got 7 admissions in 6 schools.

Please I need various opinions and example if possible.
Is it necessary for newly weds without kids to fill married in visa application. We both got admission and want to leave same time with student visa. Note that I am still using my maiden name in my passport n all docs, We don't want anything to hinder our visa approval.
1. Is marriage a disadvantage for student visa?
2. Is it wise to say "my spouse will join me soon on student visa"?
3. Is it better to say my spouse will be in Nigeria for now.

Pls who can relate or understands my worry, what do u think?
1. it depends on what you want in the future if you want your spouse to join you in future and if you are truly married then yes state that you are married remember don't lie because of future it can affect your status later like tax of married student is more higher than single student single student are on tax 1 and married or tax 3 or 4..
2. Nop you don't need to say anything about that just tell them she is working and she as a business bla bla bla it give you upper chance as they will see you will truly come back to meet your family.

just my advice

Getting job is a good path to that destination, but it is not automatic. There are other things involved including number of years spent in Germany. Moreover , the job must directly related to your program. Shalom
the job does not need to be directly involved with your study one thing people don't know about Germany is that they don't have a structured law and regulations. so it always depends on the person taking your file and again it depends on the city. like berlin for example dont stress students on visa and resident permit like fund requirement for extension goes as low as 600-1500 in your bank account but some cities will tell you to block 8k euro again...

Good day guys. Pls I need some clarifications. If someone study masters in any European countries like Germany. What the probability of getting work after masters or u will sent back home immediately after masters.
after your study you will be given 18 months visa to look for jobs and if you are lucky to get one u will be issued a permanent resident.. so its always smart if you can learn the language during your study.. but the issue is that the language is expensive to learn in Germany the cheapest you can get is 200 monthly.. german language is way cheaper to learn in Nigeria so anyone that has the time please learn in Goethe Nigeria before coming even if its A2...

Pls house , can I start my winter 2018 application now ?
Yes it's a perfect time to start.. because you will already have details about schools to apply to and respective deadlines and the ones that issue admission letter early and how you can get ur own document like some schools deadline is MAY 15th and application starts around March so generally I think YES..

From your profile, you'll have a huge chance with your Masters.
Even if you choose to start now as a couple/common law partners, you still have a chance but only by scoring IELTS 8.5, 8, 7.5, 7.5 in LRSW modules and madam 8777 respectively. Your CRS will be 443 in that scenario, which is good enough to get you an ITA based on current trend.
Thanks so much boss

currently using the bank, advantage is i bank on my phone, transfers and withdrawals are easy. No to nothing bank charge when compared to others. Disadvantage is that it is an online bank, but i havn't had any issues. Using it fr abt two months already.
The Good part
1. They give you master card which other banks like deutsche bank won't give students.
2. They don't charge monthly interest which banks like spackasse will charge you as a student.

3. They offer you overdrafts if u used them as your salary account and you get 3 month salary already.
Bad part.
1. You pay Interest on cash deposit of more than 300 euro monthly.
2. You have just 3 monthly free withdrawal

[quote author=Godson201333]you do not have to be in a rush and dont bother contacting the foreign office...You have your visa receipt with you,Mail the Embassy that you need an update and quote your visa application number to them.

Yes it is the foreign office at your study city that is delaying your visa,Maybe they investigating something about documents but it do takes months sometimes cos foreign affairs in big cities are always damn busy....

Yah they much busy busy some schools do help. With the visa ish mostly the shcools in small citiess. But its gettin to long sha.. How ur night boss hope is nt too cold over their man.
