I later reconnected, the inverter came on but the output voltage reads zero. it didn't supply power to my extension. please what could be the problem and likely solution.

probably output side MOSFET damaged.... U can give it to a competent technician to repair, just tell him to change all d mosfet at once.
Does it shows green light or red light? Red light is a clear sign of internal damage or fault.

could cost you upto 8k or little lesser if it's complete screen and touch

I don't know if this thread is still functional. I'm having a serious challenge with my Tecno L8. It brings out ads on the screen each time I switch on the data even without browsing. Then it installs different useless apps on its own. Those apps can take the logo of WhatsApp, Facebook or Twitter, but they are not those named apps. I think it's virus. There's one particular app/virus named Pearo.

These apps/virus drain my data excessively. I have tried flashing my phone, but as soon as I turned up the data again, the ads surfaced.

Please what can I do to correct this error? It's affecting me, burning up my data too much.

what you did was not flashing,it's just factory reset

could be that the charging line is having a component damage...give it to a reliable and competent gsm technician to check for you sir.

Please just got my gionee x1s 3GB Ram/32Gbrom from jumia, and I downloaded some social apps like fb, whatsapp etc collected some movies n music everything should not be up to 4gig but the phone is showing that the 24gig allocated to media and app is full... Please help.. Have cleaned junk files and others still the same

Between ups and all this cheap inverters which dey last for battery . Someone said the Up drains faster . Is this true.

i agrees with saint2face,i have used both ups n transformerless inverter to power same load on the same battery and I can tell you that ups consumes more power from battery than transformerless type.......
infact their idle current (no load current) differs
ups has big iron core transformer which get hots and really hot under heavier load
transformerless inverter get driven mostly by mosfet at the output which is mounted on the metal casing of d inverter itself which also makes sure no real heat occurs...cooling is included too
was able to get like 5hrs backup from d transformerless type from old 100ah ba3
same battery always shutdown at less than 3 hrs with same load with ups
the only advantage of ups that i know is Its ruggedness.... it can withstand abuse prior to transformerless type........

But for the inverter you can buy anywhere if you like. 42ah can run your laptop for about 26hrs.

Truly, MTN lumos is a penny wise pound foolish initiative. I'm no longer considering it.
My load is basically a laptop, two power saving bulbs and 5 phones (factoring my neighbours).
So we're looking at a 80-100 watt load. I will need the laptop to run for at least 10hours daily.
My budget is still 30k.

Here,s the analysis of what I think I'll be needing.
1. Solar panel (50-80 watt)
2. Battery (30-50ah)
3. UPS or inverter
4. Charge controller.

What way can I get these components with my budget?

If you are based or supply to Abuja, I'll gladly do business with you.

And most importantly, if you have any of these components that you're no longer using, I'll be jolly glad to have you gift them to me

i also want to know abt wat really destroy all dz tv of nowadays,,,, dem plenty 4 repair shop en..... i purchased a 22 inch led fake LG tv[front stamped LG and d back casing is toshiba engraved ] i get to knw i bought clonend tv after 4 month of usage with public power supply, when its led bulb start to flicker and it doesn't respond to brightness control anymore....so i took it to repairer who said it's screen.... he said twill cost 18k to repair i was like lol aw much is d tv....... d repairer even destroy the tv more n rendered it useless, it now displays half white, half black screen nothing to show again....... since then,,,, av been trying to be cAreful of tv i buy cuz i hate it wen electronics get destroy with no lifespan

one of the major disadvantage of ups is dia high no load current drop
transformerless based inverter of 1000 watt below majorly draw no load current of about 0.3amps or lesser.
