Job Description / Key Responsibilities and job overview Qualification: Bsc

Candidate must be able to perform the following:

Develop sales action plan and strategies to achieve the company’s Sales and Marketing goals and increase revenue.
Lead and direct all Sales and Marketing activities for Air Freight, Import, Project Logistics, International Logistics, and Ocean Transportation.
Identify new business opportunities and generate sales leads.
Gather market and customer information and network with major players in the Oil and Gas Industry, FMCGs, Telecommunication industry etc. and provide feedback on industry trends.
Regularly visit assigned existing accounts validating our service levels and develop new revenue streams
Candidate must be able to create awareness for the company to business prospects to win new business and increase sales revenue.

Skills Required:

Ideal candidate must have:

Good business sense
A deep understanding of Sales and Marketing principles of logistics and freight forwarding
Must have achieved obvious results in sales and marketing (Logistics) with evidence of continuous growth especially in the freight forwarding industry.
Good communications skills and must be able to speak with a diverse range of prospective clients- varying in size, industry, and business model.
Good knowledge of Excel and its applications
Familiar with port activities (APAPA / TINCAN Island and other Boded terminals with Lagos metropolis
Candidate must have at least Seven (7) years’ relevant experience, five (5) of which must be spent within the Shipping & Logistics Industry. Candidate must also possess a good knowledge of International Freight Forwarding.

Other skills Required include:

A positive attitude
Good negotiation skills
Ability to take initiatives

Business development skills
Marketing and Sales skills.

You set boundaries by building respect. When you're good to your extended family, it will make it easier most times. No family will respect a man that is dissociating himself and his immediate from them. Yes, some families are very bad but not all. Some men are the cause of the family disputes after tgeir death.

You can't expect a family that you neglected or you didn't support while you are alive to treat your wife and kids well after your demise. I always tell people that it's good to empower your family if you have the capacity to do it. Some men are just greedy and too proud that they prefer to be the only successful person in the family.

Are you expecting Davido's aunts and uncles to be fighting over his father's property after his demise? His father is not even the richest among his siblings.,...

You have spoken well. But remember you are not God and you cannot help all. But let me say this, Some family member can never be okay no matter how much or how well you settle them especially those that are privy to your finances (some people have this entitlement mentality) that is why you have to keep family away from business.
I used to have a friend who is now late(RIP) we started hustling together immediately after school and God answered him well in his business (not free money but he was working like a donkey) We were doing the same business initially but he was far dedicated more that me. God gave him with a good wife who also was supportive and both of them were doing well. He died of a heart attack and immediately the younger sibling accused the wife of having a hand in his death and next day they started asking for where his car was and all of that. I was shocked because I knew a little about how they were both collaborating and supporting each other. He even helped the younger siblings also in some ways. And about Davido, person wey never die no know wetin go kill am.

Please tell me the richest of Davido"s family if I may ask because I know them well but don't lets discuss the family here.

When you are alive, people do not have choice than to respect you but immediately you are gone, the one that is best close to you and your immediate family is the most dangerous. Keep family away from business and like you said, do your best but never have the believe that you can assist your brothers and sister to their satisfaction (except those that are expose and have the fear of God and exposure is what Davids father already gave to the kids and this is going to help them a lot)

Human being are insatiable and can never be satisfy no matter how you try to please them.

My thought....

He is the cause of all the wahala he might get from EFCC/FG. First of all, he is not the richest socialite in the country but all what they want is validation and social media is a way to get that attention with as low as 1k recharge card you can broadcast like a TV station. Do not get me wrong, I like some of the things he does but throwing money all over the place is a no no for me no matter how much money I have. As a good family man and a gentle man that he is I like him.
2. His money is not 100% legit quote me. And as a gentleman, I cannot allow my friend including me to be throwing money like that openly just for people to know we have the money. Even Pablo Escoba never did that.
3. It is only in Nigeria that you can throw money around and claim you are doing that because you are a showbiz person. The best you can do is to open a foundation and spend your money as you like if that is your calling. Is he the only person that owns a luxury club or hotel?
4. Who is the political person/party he is supporting? If it is opposition party, this can also happen as the FG needs to do all for the coming election this weekend.

Both of them should go to the senate. There is a limit to what president and the vice can do but, a serious and articulate person at the senate can make a change. Lets even see it like ... both of them win the election, they still have all the PDP and APC senators and house of reps to work with. I am sure the situation is going to be worse that what we have today.
