In Nigeria we attach a lot of importance to being a family representative but it holds little water as far as the US Embassy is concerned. What if you dont represent them in the US will the wedding not hold? Will the family discipline you by excommunication? Will the family disintegrate?

The VO was kind enough to tell you what we tell ourselves here in this forum. Go somewhere else for your vacation or just suspend your application until your ties are strong enough. Don't waste money needlessly. Families survive on that 50k in a month.

My interview date is decembe 4 in Abuja and my proposed date of travelling is december 23rd .My fear is if i decide to fill another form i might no be able to get a date before my proposed date of travelling as it is now interview date has reached 21st december in abuja..pls whats the way forward now.

He didn't print 'the form' not the confirmation page....
Your suggestion would screw him up real good, unless you are kind enough to put him through the steps of updating his info with the embassy
