Investment / Re: Should I Sell A Property And Go Into Business? by Tenblade: 6:02pm On Nov 10, 2019 |
@Op, I don't think it is a bad idea to sell the property . As long as you don't misuse or squander the money. It can be very tempting to do so. Money has a spirit of it's own. However, I would advice that you do not use it to set up a business. Maybe just not yet. Invest it in the money market. In treasurery bills or mutual funds. With about 10 million naira you should be able to get up to a hundred and something thousand naira per month . Stress free, guaranteed money. That should be enough to fend for the kids and some for your self . Whilst you hustle. Business is a tricky thing. It is a hit or miss. You could lose all your money trying to set up a business that may not succeed at the end of the day. Since you are not employed and are not already making money that can cushion you should business fail, my advice is to invest the money and use the proceeds . That way, your 10 million naira is still intact. Untill you can , to a large extent, afford to lose that money in business. Ie when you have a job or something else that can serve as a cushion or fall back, should things not go as planned in your business attempt. I hope I made some sense. All the best bro. 1 Like |

Family / Re: I Had A Child With My Brother's Ex Wife. Please Read And Advice Me by Tenblade: 6:11am On Feb 28, 2019 |
Oh God! Please bro, don't tell your brother. Don't you ever do that. Don't listen to all these people telling you to confess. Believe me , there are some secrets that are not worth letting out. Some secrets are better taken to the grave because letting them out will cause irreparable damage to many things. Look, your brother's children may not be your biological children but they are also your children. Likewise your child is your brother's. Try to look at it in another perspective. Being the biological father of a child doesn't make you her "father" . If you follow my logic. Don't separate your child from her "father" . Yes you made a huge mistake. You messed up seriously. But let it be . Ask God for forgiveness. Forgive yourself and move on. Do not ever tell your brother because it will very likely destroy him and cause a strain in your relationship forever. From what you said, you are three siblings that have lost your parents. You are all you've got. Don't destroy your relationship for nothing. Don't fix what is not broken. The girl (your biological daughter) will also be related to your other kids with your current wife when you eventually have some. There are no worries that they could unknowingly fall in love and get married because they would believe themselves to be cousins. What are you stressing for? Everybody makes mistakes and in this case you have learnt your lessons. Please forgive yourself and try to move on. Treat all your brother's kids as yours, including that your biological daughter . It is well bro. If you feel that strongly about confessing to any one, you can talk to a priest or a therapist. You can tell your wife ONLY IF you trust her not to utter a word if it . You can also confide in your other brother , asking for his forgiveness. Beyond these three people, please never ever tell anyone. And the three of you should carry this secret to your graves. Your eldest brother does not have to know. Let things be the way they are. Let it be beautiful. Peace be unto you bro. |

Handsome and Intelligent young man. It's good to know that his father's wealth did not influence him in the negative way. I think it is a combination of proper upbringing and sheer luck for the children of the rich to turn out well. |

dingbang: Are you sure you are or have ever been been a resident of Rivers state? Rivers state was rife with violence and cultism during the tenure of Odili. I don't even want to remember those gory old days. Wike and the PDP are resurrecting that fading brand of politics that characterized Rivers political space before the ascent of Amaechi to power. Wike is reawakening thuggery, cultism and violence in Rivers state when we thought we had put it behind us. I pray that Tonye Cole would emerge the APC flag bearer and subsequently the new governor of Rivers state come 2019. I can't begin to state how blessed Rivers state would be under his leadership. We would be the state to reckon with. 1 Like |

Thank God Uniport has offered me admission into the department of Medicine and Surgery. From the looks, if it were Unilag, I would have been thinking of going to learn handwork at this time. Unilag cutoff for medicine is so high. Even with my score of 331 in jamb, I may not have been admitted. I heard University of Ibadan is worse. 2 Likes |
