Hello, I'm curious if you already used your DropBox privilege I want to assume that you got a two-year visa for your Spring, so why do you have to look for an interview date again?

I transferred my SEVIS to a new school before I came to Nigeria. In tahr case, if you didn’t travel within 5 months, the visa expired since the SEVIS has been terminated

I graduated from a master's program in the US in May 2023, traveled back to Nigeria and my visa expired last August. Now I want to go back for the same program in a different school at PhD level in Fall of 2024. Since my visa expired not up to 24 months, do I need to apply for an interview or I qualify for a Dropbox? Thank you so much for your anticipated response.

Our case is similar. But I’m not qualify for Dropbox cuz I’ve already used that option to get a visa for spring 24, but I couldn’t travel. Now I’m in Nigeria trying to get a visa appointment for fall 24. However, it looks like you should qualify for Dropbox

If this is your first visa interview, yes pick any available date you see first. Then start using your Reschedule option to look for nearer dates . I am very certain you should see your desired dates towards Feb ending . If not , then use your emergency option by 1st week of March.

1. If this is not your first time , then don't chose any date outside 2024.

1. New applicants can reschedule twice if you did not change interview location , ie from Lagos to Abuja.

2. In your case , i think your first click was successful which means that you should now have June 25th in your portal , or probably you have exhausted your reschedule option before now .

3. Anyway round , your last card now is EMERGENCY APPOINTMENT.

For the evidence of professional membership, is it compulsory that it’s a Nigerian association? Or an overseas association is actually welcome? Like the American association….blabla

What exactly is happening to the visa waiting time? Is the 99 days waiting time real? I’ve submitted my application. On the UStravels since last week and till now I’ve not gotten a reply to fix my interview date

I did, it’s possible , i registered on Monday, got approved on Thursday and saw date same day..
It was easy for me by the grace of God

The University of Kansas just gave me my first admission denial in pharmaceutical chemistry (PhD).

Six more schools to go. I feel dejected right now because I thought that as a Pharmacist with master's in pharmaceutical chemistry that I stand a chance. 😢 😢 😢

I did my masters in the US not long ago. I’m about to apply for a new F1 visa to go for a PhD. Can I use the same login and password and information I use back then for my new DS160 in case I still have access to the login and all other things? Or I can create a new account with a new email and new information entirely as my circumstances have changed since the last time I filled one.

I think if your resumption is not 60 days away they won’t grant you expedited (this was the rule as of 2022/2023) but I think a trial won’t hurt they just may grant you. When I checked the wait time for Lagos I saw 63 days and 31 days for Abuja but then I saw someone here who said there are no dates till September in Abuja so confusion set in.

What do you mean by wait time? Do you mean the time one has to wait before he get a reasonable interview date?

I’m curious . I can see that people going to resume for fall 2024 can actually start attending visa interview a year in advance. However, if there are no near dates, can one still apply for expedited appointment in this case?

I have gotten a 120 for PhD at ucf with no funding and the source of my funding is family, however, another institution(Purdue university) gave me admission to MSC with little funding.

Can I still request an I20 from the new institution and use it to apply for a Visa?
