Tenmen: The rate of unemployment...made prospective employers too powerful. Otherwise, I see nothing wrong if they give clear and definite information so prospective employees can plan their lives accordingly...
We grope in the dark, contending with the unknown.
That's just great!

We are on the same page. Most of us or all of us live in our prefferd state (not necessarily state of origin).
I really thought that was why they askd us to choose.

Danyl: ...sleeping in a ghetto for 3 months without salary how cn a person cope under such circumstances.
Even if ever we were paid, I'm guessing one would still be confined to ABJ ghettos. If the figures dont lie.
I would humbly advice we are deployed where we already have homes, if that's feasible.

What about the other way round?
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nimc 2012/2013 Interview by Tenmen: 7:25am On Oct 12, 2013
Mehn! Guys are not smiling at all. Relocating to an unfamiliar territory to start from 'square zero' is really not funny at all. I know someone who would have to rent two apartments. One in Lagos for his mum and siblings and another in Abuja for himself. How pratical is that? Seriously? If u do know, pls tell. From my own very limited experience, I thought a happier workforce would yield a higher productivity rate. Hmmmmm. Just thinking aloud sha.

Proudly_Naija: jst recieve a lng awaitin contract letter (work permit letter) of 4 years duration in subsea company as an asst rigger wit a weekly pay of N70,000 (N210,000) after settlin my general in charge. I nid advice because if i folo d bardge n resume duty in anoda country, i won't b able 2 return wen nimc calls. And considering d fact dat nimc is parmanent bt less pay of N120,000 n d oda job temporary)contract bt wit higher pay of N210,000. If u are in my shoe wat will u do?
It depends on your priorities, my brother. As for me, I need a quarter of a mil (or more, as I can honestly get) in 3 months. So I would go for it. But I'm me and u're u, so do what u must.

Well then, I guess we have a few more hours before this week runs out, and before this 'reliable source' becomes not so reliable. Anyway still hoping to be alerted. (Not by MTN pls)

The rate of unemployment in this country has made prospective employers too powerful. Otherwise, I see nothing wrong if they give clear and definite information so prospective employees can plan their lives accordingly.
Many had to resign from their places of work with high hopes. Now, they are faced with the unknown. Even if one cultivates 'more' faith, an open-ended waiting period is extremely difficult or even impossible to be factored into a plan.
Dear God, pls help us.

Guys, ladies, we can all bear our minds. The air is free, so feel free to air. But there's no harm in being nice, non at all.
And PLEASE, I also want to say that it won't be bad if we proofread our post or even modify it after posting. To avoid words like 'hurted'.

drawclose: God touch d heart of NIMC this week to remember us.

Gboliwe: I am an adult human responsible for my every action and spoken or written word. Respect that.
No disrespect intended, I dont know u from Adam. And irresponsible people too are mostly 'adult humans'.
What I meant was, if u receive an interview invite now, wouldn't u honour it?
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nimc 2012/2013 Interview by Tenmen: 10:51pm On Aug 21, 2013
Gboliwe: To be very honest, there is absolutely nothing impressive about this whole recruitment...If this is the best HCP inconjuction with NIMC can produce, then we are in very deep and steaming sh**
I pray they invite u for interview. But when u eventualy get there, don't say all these things u typed. Or it would be another waste of transport money. (Not being sarcastic)

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nimc 2012/2013 Interview by Tenmen: 7:27pm On Aug 11, 2013
Talk Is Cheap: From what I gathered, some parastatal pay their staff some amount of money after d first 28days of work which comprises of diff allowances. Like FIRS,a friend of mine dere got almost 750,000,some got 800,000 n above. All dese is together with d first month salary, transport allowance, feeding etc. So I hrd we might get same from NIMC bt nt too sure. But am praying its true. grin
Talk Is Cheap, hope this talk is not cheap. Cos I like it already.
