Another shallow post. Excuse me lady what is your own business with what some guy accepts or rejects. In your own interest close your legs until the marriage night.

You know you need serious help as you don't sound normal. What is this puerile obsession with female anatomy.? Is this how you will become great?

simpleseyi: My grandmother does not understand statistics, graphs nor charts, she does not know the meaning of GDP , CPI or whatever, but she does know that a bag of rice was about 5,000 naira during Yar'Adua's administration but the same bag of rice is currently selling for more than 10,000 naira. My grandmother also knows that a dollar was 22 naira during Abacha's administration because our Uncle Chukwubelu sends dollars from US of A, now my grandmother knows that dollars is about 160 naira. I am not saying that our world acclaimed co-ordinating minister of economy is not working ooo, but why has the price of even our Garri Ijebu increased by more than 200% in the last few years, are we also importing Garri Ijebu from Ijebu Towns into Nigeria? Our minister of Agriculture has been getting awards all over the world for the more than 200% increase in the prices of food items over the last couple of years, so the man has been getting award for failure.
Ngozi Okonjo-Iwealla convinced us to pay all our so-called foreign debts during Obasanjo's unfortunate regime, this same woman in collaboration with Jonathan has now accumulated crazy loans for the generations yet unborn. Why nah? HUMAN BEINGS NO GET SHAME AGAIN ... just like animals.
Inflation rate is two digits (in Economics Language), unemployment rate is officially 55% according to the National Bureau of Statistics but in reality it is about 80%, crime rate is increasing everyday because a man must find means of survival but trillions of naira is budgeted every year and the only result of the budget is statistics, graphs, charts, GDP, CPI and other nonsenses displayed by Ngozi Okonjo-Iwealla and her cohorts.
Are we supposed to applaud you for your ignorance. Yes Nigeria is already the world's largest cassave producer. This is a consequence of there being a high demand for organic animal feeds worldwide. It pays the farmer to sell directly to foodprocessors rather than retailing the stuff at the local market.

rasojie: Each time i see comments like these from fellow nigerians, i am always close to tears. Why do we refuse to see the light? I never knew occupy nigeria existed till i saw this topic and They are saying nothing but the truth. Nigerians are suffering, they are taking false alcolades for job not done. Where is the Development? Where is the growth, Okonjo may have kept quiet, but deep down her heart i know she feels what they are talking about.
Nothing is working in Nigeria, nothing! Although comments do not translates to actions but we are simply putting the future of our Children at risk . Drop all these sentiments
We need change
A lot being said, a little being done
Quote me or say anything you like but i have satisfied my conscience this morning. I weep for my country
What have you just said . Absolutely nothing. However if you are so beclouded with negativism as not to see the tangible developments all around you then surely you need serious help.

ifeanyi83: Occupy Nigeria does have a valid point but the manner with which they're going about it, is totally unecessary...
And their point is what? Its not as if they have challenged any of the Finance ministers policies or better still provided policy alternatives. All they are doing is name-calling

iamdhebuck: some nigerians are nuts,if the government doesn't try to assist their citizens, pls what's their freaking job...to all u tribalists who would support ur tribesmen even if he was hitler- you are all moro.ns,no apologies
That's a load of nonsesnse really especially as it appertains to Ms OkonjoIweala. It is not her job to create employment for individuals or even to develop infrastructure. The first is the job of the private sector whilst the latter is the responsibility of the various state governments
Her role is to formulate the right macroeconomic policies to ensure economic growth, low inflation and a balanced budget. It is that simple. She is doing that already.
