Well said and analysed, but it's so painful how some people react to sensitive posts and issues like this... I went thru some people's response to this post and wondered. why is it some persons can't reason and make sensible response to post. Stop been biased and say things reasonable that people will pick up tangible points from n not been stiff with words.. I ll go thru the responses and comment on few... irrespective of who u support.. be it GEJ or Buhari, just be reasonable and if u have nothing sensible to say just don't say a word or say rubbish just for us to know u are a nairalander or full supporter of either pdp or apc party. just be reasonable.

It is amusing that many people think that one man will just come and fix this country with some magic touch. Our problems have accumulated and it's going to take years and a lot of hard work to solve them. These problems have been caused partly by the leaders and to a large extent by the citizens themselves. We want someone who will come and fight corruption when we are not ready to leave our corrupt ways behind and embrace honesty. Everyone claims to have the fear of God but corruption is rife.
Nigeria will only be fixed when the citizens are ready to cooperate with the government. We all must change our values to promote right over wrong.

Until we realize that nation building is not the work of the president alone, we will keep waiting for the 'messiah' and I tell you, it's going to be a very long wait.

He has said it all, looking at the people out there and the leader they hope to rule and support, more than 90% all have a biased selfish mindset over who they want to be their leaders. It starts with the citizens and not just the president, leaders. So forget that saying that says vote for change.. as I individuals, how many of us are willing to change? How many are willing to drop the corrupt mindset and work with all sincerity? How many. And u feel one man ll just come over night and be a messiah? Nah.... let's us all set aside sentiments n do what's right as individuals first be it GEJ or Buhari. it doesn't stop there. It's u n I that needs to make this country better.
