There's no doubt this disease is real, but the consequences of the lock down is higher than what the disease can cause. I have noticed a lot of people that can afford to stock their houses for months saying, it should continue, but not considering those that can't get a period of 3 days meal at a go. To say the least. They use the death word to scare people. Whereas they are truly the ones scared and don't care if other rot out of hunger or hoodlums finish some others while they continue in their safe haven.

For those who says, Nigeria is not a country. Nigeria is a blessed country but with very bad leaders with selfish interest that has crumbled the economy from time immemorial. We will survive this, Lockdown is not the best option for this in Nigeria... Stop the comparison thing and saying Nation with better medical system suffers, then is it Nigeria that will survive? Nigeria will survive without the total lockdown. Laslas, the Covid-19 would be another Malaria that we use herbs to treat.

Have you noticed that when we were still practising social distancing the spread wasn't so bad, I can tell from my opinion and analysis that that is because a typical Nigeria doesn't like death as you think. So when everybody was stepping out for their daily activities they were so cautious of the disease so they take all the necessary precautions while hustling. Including constant washing of hands which is termed as the most effective precautionary measure. But when the total lockdown started people were so reluctant to measures, they rate of hands washing and sanitizing reduces, mask wearing reduces, we feel since we are not going that far, we are all in a safe space so don't give that high commitements to precautions like when we step out. Thereby exposing ourselves more. Lockdown is like a breeding ground for the disease. A person with it will affect the whole house. The person from that house that steps out to buy something from the Newby shop or pharmacy affects everybody around and things around, and so the virus spreads, because their instincts feels they are still in their safe zones.

Allow people go out, to make ends meet, to hustle and get food. they will be more careful, and it's better we face this thing loggerhead than been on a lockdown for how long? How many affected, how many discharged and how death? Then compare to other ailments that has been there like Malaria, cancers, common cold, HIV and others.

The way forward to me is not this total lockdown, because no matter how you want to practise it, it won't suffice because the hunger in town would trigger more serious cases than the virus.

If you feeling that way, then why on earth do you still have it as a thought to do so. Everybody has got their opinions, for me, looking at the situation surrounding your story, I think you just need to exercise a little more patient and she will be back to her base, since she just went for a visit. So why the rush?
I am of the class of people who see such as a serious thing and would rather have a date and have a facial conversation of such than do it on phone. Most especially when the person is easily accessible. So Oga abeg wait!

Just like the outcome of the N'assembly wouldn't have affected FAAN recruitment in anyway, so also I pray for u that ur expectation will be met soon in Jesus name. Amen. I wonder why some people still castigate FAAN, all of u can't get the job, and besides na human beings like una na them give the job, not aliens. To the ones complaining, if u were shortlisted u won't be ranting all these words, forgetting not everybody would be employed. Am sure this is not ur first interview or expectant job, so why not move ahead and look for the next recruiter rather than hold on to FAAN and say all sorts of things... good thing is irrespective of what u say,think or act, it won't change the position they have taken and deprive the appointment letters from coming out, neither will it stop the training of the recruited ones or make them drop the job for u.. so move on and look else where rather than castigate FAAN. They ve done their best and did well to the best of my knowledge. We are all here on this forum and has heard many testimonies of people who knew nobody or insider, yet they got the job... so what's ur complain? Pls let FAAN be and look for the available vacancies and apply. That's the way to go... God bless us all and wonderful/fruitful week ahead.

I sense fear here, absence of faith. Just calm down n hope for the best. It will hold. Today is Wednesday and anything could happen anytime at all. So be optimistic even up to the eleventh hour anything n everything can happen. I believe you have be listed for the employment already and nothing ll take that. Good day everybody, in my opinion about what popped up on the FAAN website, it's nothing to worry about.. it's not something that is meant for the public, it's all for the site administrators. There was an error on the page and that was what led to that. And from what showed up.. it's still nothing to fret about. It's a breakdown of the people screened, and the list of people that will be employed. It's very explanatory.
I can't vividly explain the first part, which is the former..

2nd part is the list of the positions and required qualification for them

3rd part is just the disqualifications, either ur age, above 30 as stated there, ur qualification, that is just what disqualifies some people from getting invite at the first stage to go for the test.because not everybody got invite for the online test.

4th: with my understanding, is the final list. Note: do not be blinded to the last three (3) on that list.. because people will lay emphasis on just the MD, Minister, Senate and FCC and make comments like if u don't know any of these people forget it.. so what happens to the last three on the list.. we still have successful candidates from the whole exercises, which is divided into the last 3 on the list:
I. CV by FAAN, which shd be those that applied online.
II. Hardcopy, supplementary are those who submitted hardcopies.
III. Others: in my opinion am thinking it shd be those who didn't get invite for PFT but went for it, and did interview.. Gate crashers, who finally did well in the pft n interview successfully.

Final words, be calm, do not fret and keep ur hopes high. If u went thru all the processes to the final stage, be positive, be optimistic, u will get the job if u did well. Do not allow those who didn't scale thru spoil ur mindset. We will all smile..

2, candidates of politicians are being compile and processed. Both categories of successful candidate ( merit and beneficiaries of politicians) will be released soon.

Thumbs up for u bro.. let's be realistic to this thing, and I have said this same thing about weeks ago.. both successful candidates and " beneficiaries from Politicians" will scale thru and get their APL soonest. The truth is there are still going to be beneficiaries from one God father or the likes... however, those that went thru the normal process would get theirs as well and we ll have more of them that went thru recruitment exercise get APL than the rest. So good luck to u all.

Don't not ask who my source is. All I want to say is this: there's absolutely nothing like cancellation, for those with false stories like that has a problem, and as for the APL, it ll be out soonest, sure most of u knows that already so it shd not be a news. And woo unto those who comes up here and says things like FAAN has already recruited their staffs and done training... pls ignore some ignorant, false rumour mongers here and keep praying to God and hoping for the best. because truth be told, not everybody that got to the interview stage will still get the job. Pray to be amongst the successful candidates, for its not everybody that did well in the interview and so it's the last stage of screening as well. So for the successful people, congratulations in advance. Am still positive the APL would come out this month and training would start next month... I am positive I said, not from any source so do not quote me wrong. Wishing all the best and see u guys at the next level..

For ever week, day and hours that comes, everybody is always hopeful for the best... it can come anytime, just keep praying. All I can say is for every seconds that passes by, we draw closer to the appointed time for the APL.. just hope on God.. for he has started it all n ll bring it to completion irrespective of any man's thought... keep expectant and pray my brothers and sisters....
