I have always warned us about such people that claims they have insider with their negative stories as regards this FAAN thing. Now comes this one again. Pls don't believe such stories. U can imagine saying the governor of kano sent 20 names, Bros how far? Na only him get FAAN that a while 20 slots would be given to just him alone? So what happens to other governors, ministers and senators? If they are just going to work with their candidates from the very onset why would they bother to go through such process? Does that mean nobody that went thru that process will get the job? That all would be the governors candidate? Then why waste so much time, money and effort? How is it that from the very onset he didn't send down his candidates before all other processes, how comes it's now he is sending it. Was he not aware all these while? Why now? Yes they may all have their candidates, but let me tell u this for a fact... if they are having their candidates, I can bet they have been working out on their candidates long before now. And for qualified/successful people they would get their APL... with or without their candidates. It's a norm in Nigeria, but shd ve known the number needed so they would monitor the number of people that would go for all the processes so that they can merge with their candidates and make up the number they want. And don't forget, even most of their candidates went thru same exercises as everybody. If u went thru all the processes and did well in your interview.. pls be positive. And keep praying about it daily.. "I do that always and I know God ll see me thru." as for these story up there, pls ignore and be positive. Qualified/successful people shall get their APL in Jesus name... leave stories of such. God is on the throne.

Do not tell me most of u were banking on that rumour of getting appointment letters today. Well, it could have happened but when I did a little analysis, I wasn't hoping it ll happen. I will state why, first thing is I believed despite the rumour and how authentic the information may be, and irrespective of who their sources were, the thing is simple, so far so good, from the onset there has always been an extension of dates from the application, to the online test, PFT and interview dates. There were always extension of the said dates to close all those phases. So, when it comes to appointment letter I knew it won't hold today because there might be an extension of date as usual and considering what the event the nation is going thru now, ELECTION... this has affected so many activities in the country that even private firms as greatly affected not to talk of a federal owned agency. So u shd ve known that a day to election might be out of it, there ll be no serious work In the office as so people would be travelling, so to go vote, some just for safety and all that. So would will remain in the office to do the job of printing out the letters and calling on successful people. Nevertheless it's going to happen. Let's just hope on the week ahead. And finally tomao is the d day, go vote for who u think is best for u... as for me it's GEJ, and note whoever wins, wouldn't change the fact that we would still be called up for our appointment letter, so pls no Violence, vote ur party and let whoever wins, win because life continues.. best of luck people...

What matters is for us to be called upon to pickup appointment letters and we don't mind wherever the training would take plc even if it's in cotonou. While there over time as staffs, u can be taken for trainings in other countries but for now, my bro, if called upon, prepare urself because the training might likely be in lagos or anywhere else in Nigeria. It was the most organized mass recruitment exercise this country has ever done. I understand that you met some hardship when you tried to participate, but I will attribute that to your own carelessness and nonchalance. You got the text, fine, but you were also instructed to check their website for detailed info. The website stated that only high scorers who weren't successful were needed to partake in the supplementary exercise. But you and others chose to ignore that instruction and go anyway, so why blame FAAN??

I disagrre with all those that say FAAN is not transparent because they weren't shortlisted. They used a quoter system like every FG recruitment process and there are educationally less- developed states. So one could score 85 and if many pple in ur state score 90 and above and they need 11 from ur state, u might not make d cut and some other person who scored 60 from another state makes the list. That's how it works.
I scored 72 and made the AFO list. Pple dt scored higher didnt make it cos the performance in their state was higher, and pple scored less and made it from other states too.
As for the fitness test you'l jug a 2.5km distance, do sit ups and then press ups. Learn the situps without anybody holdin ur legs.
Your height would be measured too.
As for the doctors report, go into any Government hospital and c a doctor, it won't take u up to 30mins and u have his signature and stamp .
FAAN know their msg might have come in late so even if u are 5hours late, u'll be let in but try and be early.
I know no body at faan and d process has been fairly transparent.
So don't discourage ur self with the ogathetop syndrom.
Pple get these jobs without knowin no body upstairs and we could too. Good lucks to all of u .

If you are picked for the next stage, good and fine and if not invited, it's time to move on and look for the next available vacancy. Ur time will surely come soon. Without sentiments, I think FAAN has been fair and transparent in this Process, those who scored and 52 are busy lamenting here when there are candidates who scored more than 80% and above. Also consider the State quota and federal character spread. This is the reason why Yakubu with 51% from Yobe may get shortlisted than Chike with 75% from Imo State, No matter what, FAAN cannot absorb all applicants..

Seeing some truth in this and I hope other people will see this thing with understanding as well.. they surely can't employ everybody. And can't invite all as well.. I see reasonable points here. For those who didn't get invite, or have their names shortlisted. Time to look out for the next opening. No giving up... whether some of u like curse Nigeria or not. it's still ur country and u wouldn't give up. One day soon urs ll surely come.i keep using myself as an example always. I knew nobody, I searched for job five(5) years. And the set time. I got the job am doing right now. It's God. And if u complain about its a man know man thing. Pray God connects u to that right person that ll help u get to the right plc too.
