Can you create a PHP at the backend to communicate with a MySQL database.
Please refer a pdf on that for me, i need it for an app.
I know Java buh i hate anything web involved(not challenging).

Am a Java programmer, i know some MySQL and SQLite. I am doing a project that needs to get images and string(s) to display in a random order without repeating the same image or string. Meaning i would need a server-side scripting language because i don't want the algorithm to that to be embedded in the source code for the app.

Question --> Between PHP and python, which one is powerful, supported by large communities, scalable, and widely used with frameworks available in larger quantity with diverse functions.

Java servlets are out of the question because i want less overheads, quick response and is supported by many servers.

Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn desperately tried

expected at the Cardiff stadium.
They secured the signature of Takam just hours
after Pulev pulled out and Joshua’s team agreed to
the late change.
Pulev had suffered a shoulder injury during a
sparring session in his training camp in Germany.

Most people in Nigeria are self taught. There are a lot of e-books and programming communities to aid your development ( Quora, Stackoverflow, Codetutplus e.t.c ). They have a rich base of already asked questions to help beginners. Aptech is another way to go but you need serious money to foot the bill. But please don't dare wait for university in Nigeria to teach you.

As for nairaland programming section, it needs a serious revamp. Any time i visit this section, its a slap on the face. Outdated, unhelpful, scam prone threads. Please i like programming and nairaland (front page of the Nigerian internet), and i would really love to participate in what i love on nairaland. I can't remember the last time i saw a programming thread reach front page. You can even appoint me as a moderator, i would do the job efficiently.

We where supposed to write by Monday 1:30pm but we ended up writing by 11:01pm and finishing around 1:01am on tuesday morning and i have not seen my result till now..

I just need to say that considering the Nigeria educational system(especially science courses),i hope to school in Stanford,Harvard and MIT enrolled under their petroleum engineering department. I know about SAT and ACT which is required if your country offers it and also TOEFL which is not really required but can be added to your resume. I am also aware of the A-parallel WASSCE result which is not that compulsory. I need to know the feasible reality and budget required. Am in SS2 and i just want to pursue my dream.

I heard and researched that i will pay 0 dollars towards tuition and its really affordable if accepted. Please i need information from people with experience of schooling in the U.S.A and opinions as well from nairaland members. Thanks a lot and please do not crush my dream.
