I simply said the fact that a player has assists does not automatically transmit such player into a playmaker or a creator.

Even defenders can have assists...

Ronaldo has got lots of assists yes, but the greatest mumurism you would exhibit today is to tell us that Ronaldo can function as a playmaker or a number 10.

He's simply useless in that regard, unlike Messi who isn't only the better goal scorer but also one of the best creators in the game, with the likes of De Bryune and Modric.
