The problem is that APC's invalid votes count in the total votes cast. This is what INEC will analyze in their meeting.

Zamfara has 13 LGAs and 2/3rds is 9 LGAs. So PDP must have wont 25% of the total votes cast in 9 LGAs to qualify as a win, else a rerun must be done.

The SC only called them wasted votes because they were cast for the APC.

Unfortunately for the PDP those "wasted" votes which were validly cast cannot be wished away by the PDP.

There is no way that the votes cast for the APC could be disregarded in determining this "spread", required by the law.

That would amount to technically disenfranchising over 70 percent of Zamfara indigenes who did nothing wrong.

The Supreme Court wouldn't contemplate that.
