Firstly: As a person I do not like people who are temperamental very much.

Secondly; I love the way you have put it. It happened in the heat of the action and it probably wouldn't happen again. Great by me, I love that.

But my problem is with the guys here who apparently, are trying hard to justify why a player can continuosly shout at his team mate right there on the pitch.

You can call it shouting since football match is always a frenzy affair, suddenly you are attacking and suddenly you are defending. So, you don't even have the chance to whisper instructions to someone. Shouting is the best anyone can do. You can see how the coaches do it on the sidelines. However, if Dembele allows the shouting to demoralize him, then he is not a true professional. To be playing for a top club like Barcelona, is definitely not a walk in the park. He must always be on his toes otherwise there must be someone to ensure he's always on his toes.

So who should be shouting on Suarez whenever he goes on his barren spell?

I think Dembele played with more purpose yesterday. If it was as a result of the yelling from Suarez, then i have no problem with it. They are professionals. Nobody can teach them that what happens on the pitch, stays on the pitch. You should know Messi is not an outspoken personality, unlike Suarez who is more flamboyant. So, I am not surprised at all that Messi does not give instructions on the pitch, and that goes on to show why Messi is not regarded as a charismatic captain. Maybe, the coach may have assigned Dembele to Suarez. As a matter of fact, I think Dembele needs all the help he can get. It wouldn't be in Barca's interest to spend so much on the player and not realize the results they expect. It would even tell on the player. Shouting on a player does 2 things;

1.It brings out the best.
2.It demoralizes and brings out the worst.

So I don't get the context.

But players can be guided and corrected without being shouted on.

Yes he has missed some very crucial penalties but that is notmal because he has attempted many crucial penalties and he has scored many crucial penalties.

Messi and Ronaldo are the players who have attempted around 100 penalties.

I bet you that no other active player has attempted up to 60 penalties.

And the fact is that;

The more penalties a player attempts the lower his success rate.

It is very easy for a player to have attempted only 10 penalties and record a 100% success rate.

To put it in perspective I would ask you;

1.Player A has attempted 20 and scored 20, that's 100%.

2.Player B has attempted 100 and scored 90, and that's 90%.

But who's better at penalties?

I would go for the second guy despite having a lower percentage success rate. That's because his sample space is far too wide!


Messi has played 88 penalties and scored 71,
That's 80.68% success rate.

Ronaldo has played 111 penalties and scored 93,
That's 83.78% success rate.

They are both very good penalty takers!

Oshiomole and Rochas were 2 of the most adored and respected men in Nigeria before they ventured into the murky waters of politics.

The former was a well respected labour union leader who was renouned to be an uncompromising activist and negotiator. He was a darling of Nigerian workers as he held sway as NLC president.

The latter was always a philanthropist, having several foundations built across certain parts especially in the north. Growing up around the North, the name Rochas Okorocha was always synonymous with philanthropy.

Little wonder these two men were easily able to triumph in their respective elections as the voting populace held them in high esteem.

Fast forward to this day, rightfully or wrongfully these two men are no longer accorded the same amount of regard or anything close to it.

Politics is indeed sorry, and it's very unfortunate it has got to be left to the dirty.
