What was the reaction of midget El rufai when GEJ wanted to rid Nasarrawa state of jihadists?
And my own question: What was Buhari's reaction when Ihejirika wanted to wipe off Boko Haram insurgents in Borno? Asking about the reaction of el rufai is completely off point. The insinuation is that Buhari is a fulani jihadist because herdsmen killed people under his administration. LordAdam16: CR7 is BETTER than MESSI! And I have stats and facts to back up my opinion.
Yes, I said it on a Barca thread. And let me quote you "argue with your keypad or type pad."
You're on this thread when your fellow cules are making ignorant statements, and you expect everyone to walk over them.
How about you guys talk your normal team stuff and cut down on the baseless banter about both GOAT contenders. Because if you're going to disrespect a GOAT by saying Messi gave him drive, hardwork, and ambition while Messi was still under Ronaldinho's shadow, then of course you and your ilk are going to be called out. It's nothing personal.

-Lord You're really getting a false impression about your comments. Boy you're getting schooled left right and center here. You mean your mission here is to serve as ronaldo's attorney? Be prepared then to be here a long long time, maybe the next 8 months. For the bolded. Their goal numbers which have been displayed here over and over again for the past 36 hours should humble you already by no, Still clutching on straws! Messi 602 goals in 748 games. Ronaldo 641 goals in 898 games. So give us your incontrovertible evidence that Ronaldo is better than Messi Other than being able to score with both feet, head and diick. Or playing in the EPL. Oya tell us! |

LordAdam16: How can one post have so many inconsistencies?
Did CR7 use his drive and mentality to go from the scrawny boy in Andorrinha to the icon who won a Ballon D'Or at Man U while Messi was under R10 tutelage at Barca?
Answer the question?
According to your logic, CR7 didn't have "hardwork and motivation" until Messi started winning Ballon D'Ors. Barca fan logic!
So what did he use to win his Ballon D'Or at Man U while Ronaldinho was still playing at Barca and Messi was still under R10 wings? Answer...
Do you get off from disgracing yourself?
"Messi inculcated hardwork in Ronaldo!" Joke of the century. Even Messi would laugh at that.
Paul Condo, former Manchester United fitness coach Walter Di Salvio has illustrated why.
“While his team-mates went in for their showers, he went out to the back of the complex, where it borders on a patch of woodland, so that he could practice his ball control in difficult conditions.
“In the woodland undergrowth the terrain was very uneven, full of exposed tree roots, and Ronaldo would kick the ball hard into that area and chase after it, trying to bring the unpredictable bounces under control.”
This was while Messi was winning a phantom UCL playing 22 minutes in all of the knockout stages in 2006.
GOAT for a reason!
-Lord wìnning ballon dor didn't start with ronaldo in 2008. several other players had won it before him. and he had seen many players win multiple before him trust me they didn't run through tree roots to win. but what is common knowledge is that messi won 4 in a row, at a point that the english and european media had made believe ronaldo was the next best thing to sliced bread! and then the images of ronaldo sulking, whinning and making awkward faces at ballon dor podiums are ever present in our hearts and minds. you cannot wish that away, you cannot disagree even if it hurts. i also feel for ronaldo though, having had to work and toil so hard like Paul Condo narrated, and still be overshadowed by someone who took it easy and didn't have to kick a football into tree roots and chase after it. the general perception across the world, that messi is natural talent while ronaldo worked so hard to achieve what he did tells the entire story! |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by tesppidd: 10:56am On Mar 17, 2018 |
LordAdam16: But he was already breaking records and scoring impossible knuckle dead balls in England while Messi was still in Ronaldinho's shadow. Heck, he even won a Ballon D'Or.
Both men may have pushed each other to the limits, but individually they'd have dominated the last decade if only one of them mounted the podium.
Maradona is not known for his phenomenal goal scoring ability--he had an amazing technique no doubt--but if he like Messi went to La Masia at 13 and played there all his life, are you saying he wouldn't score similar high number of goals with primarily his left foot? This is a man that scored the FIFA Goal of the 20th Century by dribbling past 5 England players in a World Cup Quarter Final.
How can anyone who isn't trolling say CR7 would sit on Barca's bench for 10 years?
How many prolific wingers of CR7's caliber has Barca had in the last 12 years? So why wouldn't he break in?
GOAT contenders would break through any team with ease. That's why they're on the GOAT list.
You guys should start screening the kind of people that join your fan base. One yesterday was calling Bojan a GOAT contender/didn't know who the GOAT contenders are, today one is saying CR7 would sit on the bench for 10 years.

-Lord lol that's the bane greatness of messi. in one same article he's compared with maradona, pele, and ronaldo albeit in different paragraphs! yes he won the ballon dor first, but after 2008 he had to sit and watch messi dominate for 4 seasons. nobody could deny that at that period messi became the darling of the world and the undisputed football icon as ronaldo sulked and sulked and threw tantrums. that gave him his motivation and hardwork. the obsessive desire to eclipse messi.while messi just played football and enjoyed himself. messi inculcated the hardwork in ronaldo. -FACT! |

LordAdam16: You're trying to say if CR7 had gone to Barca at 13, he'd have stayed on the bench for 10 years?
Oga you don take your medicine?
With CR7's work ethics, drive, and mentality.
You Barca fans are so insincere and insecure.
-Lord there's a very huge possibility that ronaldo's work drive was influenced by messi after all. the world remembers how he used to cry and sulk as he watched messi pick up awards early on. that gave him that drive. he has messi to thank for his life! |

LordAdam16: The issue is not only about what the world thinks. It's about facts and stats. CR7 is the perfect goal scorer. He has no weak foot, he is good in the air, and has an amazing goal scoring technique. Put him in any team, with any time of game play--whether it is tiki taka or cross & nod, and he'd score effortlessly.
The same cannot be said of Messi. A player of Messi's quality, in a club as prestigious at Barca, after spending 18 years imbibing only one football philosophy, and with the team built around him would score lots of goals. It doesn't make him a goal scoring machine.
How does that poll concern me?
I and numerous other CR7 fans can give you stats and facts to argue that CR7 is better. Same way you guys can give stats and facts to argue LM10 is better. Ditto for Pele, Maradona, Ronaldinho, R9 fans.
People would always have their respective opinions on who the GOAT is. It changes nothing as all of it is subjective.
-Lord -He's good with the head. -He's good with the right foot. -He's good with the left foot. -He's good with the chest. -Damn he could score goals with his diick. -Messi has got only his little left foot. Despite that look at the goal stats! That left foot scores more goals per game than the head, the chest, the right foot and the left foot put together. My point is made! |

2006/2007 - 36 2007/2008 - 40 2008/2009 - 51 2009/2010 - 53
CR7 Appearances (All Comps)
2006/2007 - 53 2007/2008 - 49 2008/2009 - 53 2009/2010 - 35
You were saying?
MSN was just broken late last year, so how is Messi a midfielder? Yes, he drops back, but he has a free role. His playing style has changed as has CR7. Counts for little because both Barca and RM are built around LM10 and CR7 respectively to suit them.
It's not like CR7 didn't play as a midfielder at Manchester United. When your strike partners are Benzemiss and Balinjury, why on earth should CR7 drop back. Compare that to Neymar and Suarez for LM10.
Both CR7 and LM10 have been called magicians, geniuses, unbelievable players only one has been called a goal machine. Left, right, head, doesn't matter. 2 yards out or 40 yards out. Tap-ins or screamers. EIGHT Perfect Hattricks versus Messi's ZERO tells the whole story. There is only one goal machine on the planet. You know who he is.
Make una argue another thing jare.
-Lord Would you be kind enough to give us the minutes played per game in all his appearances between 2006 and 2009? he was always coming in as a sub, playing 25 to 30 mins. And then the MSN! The MSN made Messi a winger didn't it? The very same excuse you wanna make for Ronaldo. You can't wish that away! For the last 3 years Ronaldo has been a striker basically and Messi a midfielder basically. Ronaldo is a goal machine alright, if this makes you feel better. The world sees him very much that way because besides the goals he scores he is useless. But a closer and more careful look at the stats shows that Messi is the real goal machine. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Fc Barcelona Fan Thread: "més Que Un Club" by tesppidd: 1:04pm On Mar 16, 2018 |
LordAdam16: Reason why I don't argue with FC Barca fans about stats.
You're going to conflate 2002/2003, 2003/2004, and 2004/2005 seasons when Ronaldo was still honing his skills at Lisbon and played as a traditional winger or midfielder (depending on the formation) who rarely scored; while Messi was getting grilled at La Masia since he was 13.
I wonder why you guys never talk about Ronaldo's stats since he moved to Real Madrid.
If CR7 played all his life at RM. Messi wouldn't see his shadow on the stat board.
Ronaldo is a goal machine. No one even argues it.
-Lord More and more excuses! - Messi was never a regular from 2006-2009 yet they want to count that period. -For the past 3 years Messi has been playing as a midfielder while Ronaldo has been playing as a striker, and yet they want to count that period. No excuses, Messi is King in Ronaldo's domain. |

Melvyn11: FFuck Ronaldo at united was a winger, he was known for his pace, trickery and deadly freekicks not his goalscoring ability yes he scored 32goals in epl in a season but that was his only best season in terms of goals. My emphasis from the beginning has been that since Ronaldo came to Madrid his game has evolved to a deadly finisher and a goalscoring machine more than Messi from that period of time. If 439goals in 428appearance for Madrid doesn't prove that to you then lets stop wasting our time. Interesting! If you would make excuses for ronaldo being a winger at Manchester United then I could also make excuses for Messi being a winger and a midfielder since 2015. We watch barca and we know that messi has been playing as a midfielder for 3 years while ronaldo has been a proper number 9 since he came to madrid, even at the expense of Benzema. Make your own excuse I make my own, God nor go vex! So what do you say we leave out all of the ifs and the buts and focus on their holistic goal statistics. Which remains!
