AsabaPropertyAg: I blame PDP leaders for whatever that is happening in PDP now, let them go and lick their wound because they supported Ayu when it was time for Ayu to resign as PDP chairman. And why should Ayu resign as chairman? The constitution of PDP says the President and Chairman cannot be from the same zone. Did Atiku become President? The right thing was for Ayu to resign after Atiku won the Presidency. Atiku never win yet una don dey tell am resign. |

mrksquare: Oshiomole was removed by Buhari. The entire NEC was dissolved and the Governor of Yobe state was appointed as the caretaker National chairman.
Secondus removal was an illegality ab initio. The ward do not have power to remove the National chairman of a party. Same way the ward do not have power to suspend a seating governor. Such power only lies with the NEC of the party. Lol In summary those were illegal removals. And what makes you so sure that sometime in the future we won't also be here saying?; "Ayu's removal was illegal" |

cyrilamx: Atiku is indeed not a good strategist like JAGABAN. what would it have taken him to have sacrificed Ayu and retain the G5? Well I loved how BAT decimated them. Atiku probably realized that the G5 were useless to him as long as Obi was in the race. That's why he couldn't trade Ayu. The only thing that could have made Atiku win was if somehow Obi did not contest. But as long as Obi was contesting, even 1 million G5's on Atiku's side could never have given him victory. |

Invitationn: Well, fair enough! But there’s a popular saying that he who laughs last laughs best.
Wike lost at the convention agreed. Atiku that won at the convention is now our President innit?😅 Wike is better off because he still has the state because without the help of Atiku and his camp he won Rivers. Atiku snubbed Wike, you called that a loss? The real loss is failing woefully in the presidential election, you’d agree with me. What’s the point of Wike running with Atiku when they don’t make it to Aso-Rock??🤷🏾♂️😅
But without Wike and the G5, Atiku is carrying placards with ridiculous aegis around the streets of Abuja Ortom and the rest that lost- good riddance! Not even the weak Atiku camp would have saved them from the ruling party offensive. Modified: souvenir below 1. With the emergence of Obi, there was nothing that Wike and his G5 could have done to make Atiku win the election if they were with him. 2. Even if Wike had supported Atiku, Obi would still have trounced Atiku in a free and fair election in Rivers State, if votes are counted and allowed to count. 3. In Benue, Enugu and Abia, Obi would still win a landslide in a free and fair contest. The G5 was just a bunch of 5 governors who overrated themselves. Without Obi in the race, they would have been a major factor for Atiku's victory or loss, as the case may be. But with Obi in the picture, they were just as inconsequential as the P in Psychology. I agree with you though that strictly between Wike and Atiku, the former seems to be having the last laugh. But who really knows? He just might be putting up a show with a bold face; considering how much money he lost in his failed Presidential and Vice Presidential bids. But then again speaking about having the last laugh, how about his other crew members? Could you really say that Wike is having the last laugh while his crew members are sobering and crying and gnashing their teeth? Are Ikpeazu, Ugwanyi and Ortom really having anything to laugh about at the moment?? |

Invitationn: Wike won again is more appropriate. He won when Atiku lost. He won again when his candidate won Rivers. The suspension of Ayu is his 3rd win. Lol See this one consoling himself. 1. Wike lost when he lost at the Presidential convention. 2. Wike lost when Atiku snobbed his as running mate, a position he wanted so badly. 3. Wike lost when his asoebi wearing governors whom he misled, Uguanyi, Ikpeazu and Ortom all lost their senatorial bids. |

Like what the fvck is all these rubbish? GreyLaw: Stop lying through your teeth. Abi you no go school? When something gets above .50 it is rounded up and not down. You cannot round down 24.67 to 24. It is rounded up to 25.
Na wa for una oo Na WA ooh All these children sef! Logic and common sense is so far from you! This is law and not constitution. You think the interpreters of the constitution who made it 24 instead of 25 are fools? Abi you get sense pass them? For the last time let me try to explain it to you; Two-thirds of 37 is 24.67. Now this is constitutional law guiding humans not some abstract mathematical problem or some word problem dealing with sharing of oranges. The law is already stringent enough demanding candidates to actualize 25 percent in two-thirds of the states. Rounding up 24.66 to 25 instead of rounding down to 24 would create further difficulties for candidates. And it would lead to a lot of litigations. This is common sense not mathematics Oga. Dunno how to explain this further but good luck to you as you try to understand. |

nonhuman: in mathematics approximation error when a number after the decimal point is above 5, it's becomes whole, Lol This is law not mathematics. If the law expresses two-thirds as 25 states then it will be total absolute chaos. Anyone who makes 24 will run to court to challenge it. |

omonnakoda: Who is THEY? The truth is it is a grey area One day someone will get 24 and they will go to court Go and study the 12 2/3 judgment of 1979 If that logic is followed it would be 25% in 24 plus 25% of 1/3 of the 25th state ie 1/12 or 8.33% in the 25th state
That was the logic that brought Shagari to power He got 25% in 12 and in Kano the 13th he got 20% We had 19 states then His lawyer Richard Akinjixe argued, successfully that he needed 25% of 2/3 in Kano= 16.66% and he got 20%
The Supreme Court agreed but said in future it should be 13 No one can go to court for 24 because the constitution has clearly spelt out 24 states not two thirds. Using the term "two-thirds" is what causes the grey area. But it is now expressly stated 24 states, so no one can challenge that. If the constitution was still stating "two-thirds" then it would be a problem. |

genkins: Why should 24 be applied when if u round up 24.67 it becomes 25. Both cannot stand.its meant to be 2/3 of 36 + 1fct That's why I said they use 24 in order to play safe, err on the side of caution. If they use 25 states, somebody who makes only 24 states will go to court and argue that 24.6 states is not up to 25. Hence the use of 24. |

And what is the meaning of 25 percent of 37 states?
The law states 25 percent votes in two-thirds (or 66.7 percent) of 37 states.
Two-thirds of 37 states is 24.67.
So 24 states is applied not 25, just to err on the side of caution. |
