The issue here is about having two Muslims as presidential and vice presidential candidates, especially for a ruling party.

If you're hoping to see CAN come out to tell you to vote Peter Obi or another Christian, then you will have to wait till the day of rapture.

The major reason why i supported Amaechi or Osinbajo to emerge over Tinubu was because i foresaw this running mate wahala.

I am definitely against a Muslim Muslim ticket; as much as i am against another 8 years of a Muslim Presidency.

That was why i was mad when PDP refused to zone the presidential primaries to the south under the flimsy excuse of throwing the contest open.

So both the Muslim Muslim ticket and power being retained by another Muslim after 8 years of Buhari are equally very bad in my eyes.


So i do not have anything against CAN speaking out against a Muslim Muslim ticket, but they should have spoken out about another Muslim succeeding Buhari, and should have done it when Atiku emerged for PDP.

So CAN are being hypocritical i insist!

Of course, the killings of Christians has always been reoccurring in Nigeria, it is just so unfortunate that it has become a campaign strategy in the country to kick against the incumbent government. Right from the regime of OBJ Christians had been attacked in Plateau State, Kano State, Kaduna State and nobody came out for the VPs back then. Even when we had presidents that were Christians.
I do not know why people are putting the blames of these killings on the VP. Yes it is sad and tragic that innocent lives are been lost in scores, but the power did not belong to the VP to take military actions.
Moreover, the president of recent deployed military to the affected areas and released some funds in the fight against these killings.

And trust me when i tell you; there are very many Christians who wake up everyday praying for more and more Christians to be killed in Benue and over the country.

The best option was still Osinbajo; with the support of Buhari, the South West and them Northern governors, PYO would defeat Atiku all day everyday.

In 2019, Ibos gave Fulani Atiku about 2 million votes and gave Ibo man Moghalu about 8k votes.
