What sort of posts? Maybe for posting guns, or explosives, or for threatening to cause mayhem, but not for being a desenting voice.

People castigate and insult Trump everyday, they are not arrested. Even the Somali women that were telling Trump to shut up during his state of the union address were not arrested for that, because there is freedom of speech but just post that you want to bomb something or you want to attack someone and see the FBI, CIA and all the PDs at your doorstep.

There is freedom of speech in the democracy practiced in the US, but the democracy being practiced in Nigeria is modified version that doesn't tolerate careless talk.

People have been arrested and detained for speaking truth to authority talk less of insulting world powers and attracting the wrong attention to a country that cannot defend itself against external aggression.
