olayinka63: This kind of statement confirmed the imbalance and inferiority complex of the southerners. I was telling my wife this morning how Southerners used to portray themselves as literate and civilised but yet we could visibly see how backward they are. One Southern person in my area have a total rickety commercial bus with flames coming out and polluting the environment causing danger to health. It has been like that for more than two years. I was like, see the literate and civilised people emitting carbon to our environment and endangering lives. What is the essence of education and civilisation of Southern people if they can't just think to fix their damaged vehicle ongoing for two years? That mean they are the real illiterate and education don't pass through them. They only have media to talk rubbish. So is your example too Judging from one side will not help you. You clearly haven't lived for long in the core northern parts of Nigeria...I assure you, you will run back to delete this post when you do... |
Islam › Re: Nigeria Media Houses Are Not Fair To The Muslims by tesseract: 12:28pm On Dec 26, 2025 |
This perspective of the OP is the very problem we have in this country.
The liberal Muslims are worse than the fanatical ones because they hide their evil in plain sight; They are the PR team of the fanatics who maim, shoot and behead people they don't like.
They hide their evil behind "not all Muslims are terrorists", they hide their evil behind, " the actions of a few Muslims doesn't define...", they hide behind "Christians must have done something wrong to anger the terrorist...",
One thing you will never see them do is condemn the actions of these demonic humans and are always on social media to justify their actions or attempt to gaslight everyone. Shameless |

The 'first to comment' guy above didn't even read the thread. He just posted like a bot... Well articulated OP. This "parasite" has impoverished "former" French colonies for decades. Most of them will never recover and their citizens will never see the good life. But here we have leaders who think this is the way to go. They remember that they are sovereign when terrorists and bandits are to be decimated but forget sovereignty when it's about taxes. If this fraudulent tax laws are not rejected, we are in for a very long haul of real time neocolonialism. We will end up like these francophone countries where the middle class will completely disappear. You're either extremely rich or terribly poor. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Algerian Law Declares France's Colonisation A Crime. by tesseract: 3:05pm On Dec 25, 2025 |
Scorpio99: To imagine peeps like you are the leaders of tomorrow aches my heart. Instead of you to list specific examples of reparations that were done before the charter I mentioned, you are asking me to look up the internet. If you had any, you would simply list it rather than hide behind a rock when there is none.
Let me help you!!!
Prior to the Nuremberg trials, the only reparations that were done were based on the treaty of Versailles. And the treaty of Versailles was never based on crimes against humanity which Algeria is basing its claims upon. That is further proof to you that a particular law or agreement must exist prior to the act you claim is a crime and also give validity to it as a crime. It is that treaty, law or agreement that backs up your claim.
Algeria currently doesn't have any single treaty, agreement or law to base its claim. Those treaties of Versailles and the charter of Nuremberg trials are no longer existing. Deal with it or take it to the grave. Your choice!! So you think being condescending will give credibility to your rants? You refer to me as " Leaders of tomorrow " because you assumed I'm a young person...😂😂😂. Note that I have no stake in this matter, so the issue of "dealing with it or bla bla bla..." is not necessary. I'm trying to correct a notion and let you know that you have made a false assertion, let me rephrase; that a crime was committed before a law was passed or before certain conditions were met doesn't invalidate it. Algeria has every right to do what it is doing now. I rest my case |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Algerian Law Declares France's Colonisation A Crime. by tesseract: 9:17am On Dec 25, 2025 |
Scorpio99: Your education is faulty. I didn't say reparations is not possible, it is only possible if the act that caused the demanded reparation was committed when it was a crime.
Algeria is basing their claim for reparations on an act that was not a crime when it was committed. If anything, they can only get reparations for the ones that were done from 1945 when crime against humanity became an international offence by virtue of the charter of Nuremberg Tribunal after the second world war, not from 1830 whatever....
Stop disgracing your ménage!!! You are actually the one without proper education. A simple search online will tell you that reparations are not limited to 1945, whenever whatever agreement or charter was signed. people who were persecuted even before the Luxembourg or Nuremberg tribunals, were still eligible for reparations. You're just trying to be clever by the half. |

stuffs2002: Your comment was wrong because you made from a point of hatred and emotions and hatred yet you are refusing to take corrections. For your own good, learn to control your emotions
I asked you a very very simple question yet you avoided it. When was Nigeria ever a French colony? Also, the relationship Nigeria is presently having with France is one of mutual respect and not master and slave but your emotional hatred is blinding you from logic No hatred, no emotions anywhere. It is what it is. With the way you are trying to forcefully convince me, it appears you are the emotional person here. The truth is bitter and you don't want to admit it. Are you aware Algeria has just joined the call for reparations for the crimes committed against them by France? Ask yourself, Why are former French colonies trying really hard to escape the grip of France? Neocolonialism is a reality, whether you like it or not. As for the mutual respect relationship you mentioned, I'm just laughing at your ignorance. Until you see the agreement (MOU) signed between Nigeria and France on certain issues, you can't conclude that it's a mutually respectful relationship. But time will tell, don't worry. |

Scorpio99: All these people called politicians just disgracing Africa everywhere. No wonder white people always think blacks are 🐒.
Is there no single law maker in there to tell them that laws do not have retrospective effects? They can do all sorts in their country, nobody cares but they should forget that reparation or whatever they are asking for. It sounds very dumb and stoop!d in front of an international audience. What sort of slave mentality is this? What sort of retrogressive thinking is this? A call for reparations is usually a long shot but not impossible, some countries have achieved some level of progress in that direction. |
