I agree with you that we need to rid Nigeria of Fulani herdmen, and jihadist bandits terrorism.

Their targets might be initially christians in the 2000s, but for the past 10 years, they have been targeting both Christians, Muslims, and traditionalists. They are fighting for territory and their intention is to get Nigeria territories for themselves to govern.

That’s what they’ve been trying to do across the Sahel.

If Trump support the government with ammunition, funding, and etc; na me go first happy because ridding Nigeria of these bandits and terrorists will solve 50% of our problem.
Supporting a government with weapons and resources is totally useless when the government lacks the will to end the Islamic insurgency and terrorism in their country. This government doesn't want the disease to be cured because they benefit from insecurity.

This delusional train of thought is what will keep sustaining the terrorist attacks in the northern parts of Nigeria. NK only wanted Biafra for the Igbos, attempting to break up Nigeria was his mortal sin... Also, the East would have been ravaged by these marauding terrorists and killers just like the north if NK and his ESN didn't decimate them early enough. Science/TechnologyRe: Is Tizeti-wifi.com.ng; The Best Internet Provider For Working From Home? by tesseract: 8:26am On Oct 28, 2025
theconfidentwom:
I usually will not put this out here.
I will take out time to speak to everyone "speakable" but TIZETI(WIFI.NG) have decided to take my patience, my coolness and my believing them for granted.

TIZETI(WIFI.NG) has been a service that has been a pain in the neck.
There are several times we have had poor services, but I have taken out time to understand them, that they are a business experiencing possible challenges.
But it doesn’t seem so.
It seems like they are wrapped in lies and with lies!!!

Recently in the Month of June, they took my Radio (Internet Connectivity Radio) and told me that they will get it back to me in 2 Weeks in that Month of June. By the way, the Radio was taken because of their poor internet services.
Okay, we agreed and moved on.
Then 2 weeks turned to 3 weeks, then to 4 weeks and it keeps going on and on until it's is currently September 2nd and as I speak to you, they have stopped responding to my emails.
As for phone calls?
When you call the representative LIES to you and that is why i attached an Audio of the whole drama that played out so that you can see for yourself.

Not only have this people lied to me, they have refused to give me a Radio that I bought and paid for and they are going about installing for new clients and lying to old clients that a Radio for replacement doesn't exist.

Google has been so helpful in making me know brands I should stay clear off.
If you are looking to get a WIFI services installed in your HOME or Office that will serve you and will NOT keep lying to you, I advice you to stay off TIZETI (WIFI.NG).
Don't just take my word for it, listen to the audio attached to this post and hear from yourself how the representative was stammering, because clearly they have been lying to existing customers.

And you know how it works,
How a person treats others is how they will eventually treat you.
It's easy to love up on new customers and be very kind and lovely to them.
The Question is, when you eventually become an existing customer, what will happen to your service?
Would you have to call the Commissioner of Police before you get your services up?

Why would a company exist and not keep to their words?
Why would a company not mean what they say and say what they mean?

My Work is Done.
By all means explore every other Internet Service, but stay clear of TIZETI (WIFI.NG) you will get more problems than solutions in your life and a spice of so many lies that will continually be told to you.

Have a Great Time Ahead.
The Confident Woman

PS - They are currently not responding to my emails and when I call, they will tell me a "non-existent" department or person will call me.
They have stopped calling me.
In addition to lies, we now have Customer Disrespect.

Shaking My Head.

I tried attaching these flies in the file sections but it says it's too large.

More than 3 years down the line, tizeti has not changed. Just lies upon lies. CC keeps apologizing forever but never improving their services. It's better to scrap the so called unlimited data plans that are bad and stick to metered data plans that have very good service delivery.

This news is to justify their stance on rejecting foreign help to curb the menace of terrorism, genocide and religious/ethnic cleansing carried out by their Fulani elites. PoliticsRe: Nigeria may partner China to revive Ajaokuta Steel Company – Minister by tesseract: 7:00am On Oct 21, 2025
Kemetian:
I put your argument to AI ChatGPT:

''Considering China's cheap steel and maybe economies of scale, wouldn't Ajaokuta be an expensive alternative for Nigerian projects as opposed to importing steel from China?''

.................................

AI Response:

Fantastic question — and that’s one of the most critical debates in Nigerian industrial policy right now. You’re absolutely right to ask:

“If China’s steel is cheaper, why bother reviving Ajaokuta at all?”

It’s a smart, economic question — and the answer lies in understanding the difference between price and power.

Let’s break this down carefully and realistically 👇🏾

1. Yes — On Paper, Chinese Steel Is Cheaper

China produces over 1 billion tonnes of steel per year, while Nigeria produces close to 0.3 million tonnes.

That scale gives China:

Lower unit cost due to massive production volumes.

Government subsidies that keep prices low even when markets fluctuate.

Vertical integration — they control everything from mining to shipping.
So yes, a ton of Chinese steel might arrive at Apapa Port cheaper than what Ajaokuta could initially produce.

But that’s short-term affordability, not long-term value.

🔩 2. Cheap Imports = Expensive Dependency

Nigeria has learned this lesson the hard way — the same logic once made foreign oil refining cheaper, and the nation has spent billions importing fuel from abroad.

Imported steel looks cheaper until you calculate:

Lost jobs: Every ton of imported steel = Nigerian jobs exported.

Lost skills: No domestic engineers learning high-grade metallurgy.

Foreign exchange drain: Billions of dollars leave the economy annually.

Strategic vulnerability: In crises (wars, pandemics, sanctions), imports can stop — but local plants keep the economy running.

So Ajaokuta’s cost is economic independence — and independence is never cheap.

🏗️ 3. Ajaokuta Is Not Just About Price — It’s About Industrial Ecosystems

When Ajaokuta runs, it doesn’t just make steel. It triggers an industrial chain reaction:

- Iron ore mining at Itakpe (Kogi).

- Limestone and dolomite mining in Edo and Kwara.

- Rail transportation along the Warri–Ajaokuta–Itakpe corridor.

- Fabrication industries — automobiles, construction materials, defense, shipbuilding.

That creates hundreds of thousands of jobs and supports dozens of secondary industries.

China’s steel may be cheaper — but it doesn’t feed your youth, your engineers, or your sovereignty.

📈 4. Local Steel Keeps Wealth Circulating Inside Nigeria

When you import, you pay once and the money leaves forever.

When you produce locally:

Workers earn and spend salaries in local markets.

Nigerian banks finance logistics and equipment.

State governments collect taxes.

Local engineers and firms get contracts.

This is how a country multiplies its GDP from a single industry.

Even if local steel costs slightly more per ton, the national economy gains far more in growth and self-sufficiency.

5. Economies of Scale Can Be Achieved Over Time

Ajaokuta’s steel will be more expensive at first because of small-scale production and rehabilitation costs.

But once production ramps up:

Unit costs drop dramatically.

Upgrades like electric arc furnaces and digital controls improve efficiency.

Local raw materials (iron ore, limestone) make Nigerian steel naturally competitive.

In fact, Nigeria’s raw material cost base is lower than China’s — China imports a lot of its ore from Australia and Africa. Nigeria already has it beneath her feet.

So with sustained operation, Ajaokuta could reach price parity with imported steel within 5–8 years.

💰 6. There’s Also the Foreign Exchange Angle

Steel imports drain billions in dollars every year.

When Nigeria produces steel locally:

Those projects (rail, roads, buildings) can be financed in naira, not dollars.

That stabilizes the exchange rate and reduces import inflation.

It also gives Nigeria export potential to ECOWAS and AfCFTA countries — turning a former importer into a regional supplier.

7. Cheap Imports Can Kill Your Industry — Permanently

This is what economists call the “infant industry trap.”

If you rely on cheap imports forever, your local industries never grow strong enough to compete.

This is what Western powers want — and what China itself avoided.

Remember: in the 1970s, Chinese goods weren’t cheap — China made them cheap through decades of investment, protection, and scale.

Nigeria can do the same if it protects Ajaokuta until it matures.

8. Strategic Reality Check

China’s cheap steel is a blessing and a risk.

Use it wisely in the short term to complete urgent infrastructure.

But don’t build national dependency on it.

Let Chinese firms help build Ajaokuta — not replace it.

That’s how China itself industrialized — using Western capital and tech without surrendering national control.

🗣️ Final Thought

“Imported steel may build your bridges — but only your own steel can build your nation.”

Ajaokuta might not compete on price right away, but it will win on principle, permanence, and power.

Because the real cost of dependency is invisible — until you can’t build without permission.

- AI
Not far from the truth.
Ask it what practical steps can be taken to revive the steel plant considering Nigeria's current political climate and international affiliations.
