Why don't you speak for yourself? You can choose to equate yourself to a bloodthirsty, thieving and lying politician, that's your problem, don't come here and rope everyone in Nigeria into it.

Terrorist sympathizers are also terrorists which includes Muslims like this Op.
Trying so hard to equate the lunacy going on in the North to what is going on in the south is an effort in futility. This gaslighting technique doesn't work anymore.

It is very clear, with this pattern of thinking that we are not the same with these Northern Muslims, they are very backwards and extremely fanatical.

CrimeRe: American Registered Nurse Cries Out: All My Impersonators Are From Nigeria by tesseract: 7:57pm On Nov 23, 2025
DamnnNiggarr:
Are we, the Nigerian youths, cursed with commiting crimes?

Certainly NO, Nigerian youths are not cursed. We are not cursed people. But we are carrying the heavy weight of systems that have failed us for decades, systems that have pushed many to desperation, others to anger, and some into choices that stain our collective identity.
When the world hears “Nigeria” and immediately thinks “fraud,” it should hurt us, not because it is always true, but because it is often believably true.

But must we accept this as who we are?

Why should one nation’s name appear in almost every international story of fraud?

Why should talented young people (some of the smartest, most hardworking on the continent) be reduced to defending their nationality everywhere they go?

When did we allow survival to become an excuse for anything at all, even wrongdoing?

These are questions we must face honestly.

We are not inherently corrupt. We are not born scammers. We are not cursed.
Yet, some among us have chosen to normalize internet fraud “yahoo,” “wire-wire,” “guy-man,” and all the modern variations. And society (music, culture, social media) often glamorizes the lifestyle instead of condemning it. Too many are being applauded for money they cannot account for. Too many are being pressured into crime by a system that makes legitimate success look impossible.

But let us ask ourselves:

If everyone is doing whatever they must to “make ends meet,” what happens to the soul of a nation?

If fraud becomes a culture, how do we expect the world to see us?

If you wear the label of “scammer” so casually today, what will your children inherit tomorrow?

The truth is simple:
A country with good leadership, working systems, and opportunities does not produce a generation that sees fraud as an option.

Our leaders have failed repeatedly. They have abused trust, stolen public wealth, and set the worst examples.

But still, their failure cannot become our excuse for creating more damage.

If leaders have failed us, must we also fail ourselves?

If the system is broken, must our values also break?

To Every Nigerian Feeling Ashamed by International Stories

Just like this case of a U.S. nurse discovering multiple impersonators from Nigeria, complete with screenshots, yes, these incidents cut deep. They embarrass us. They annoy us. They feed stereotypes.

But remember: the actions of a few do not define the worth of millions.
Still, the actions of a few can damage the reputation of millions.

So the question is:

How long will we allow the irresponsible behavior of some to stain the honest work of many?

A Call for Reflection and Change

Nigerian youths are brilliant. Innovators. Builders. Creators. Athletes. Scholars. Movers of culture across the world.
There is nothing cursed about us.

But we must decide what identity we want to stand for.

Do we want a Nigeria where our passports raise eyebrows?

Or a Nigeria where our names open doors?

Do we want to be feared or respected?

Do we want to be known for our scams or our genius?

The Future Is Still in Our Hands

We cannot undo the damage overnight.
We cannot fix the country alone.
But we can start with ourselves (our values), our choices, our pride as a people.

Let us build a Nigeria where we don't need to defend our nationality.
Let us build a future where success is something we earn, not something we steal.
Let us reclaim our name, not by shouting, but by living differently.

Nigeria is not cursed.
But Nigeria will only rise when we stop behaving like a cursed nation.

The change we want begins with us.
What is all this nonsense in your write-up?
You started well, but then ruined everything with trash talk. The system is faulty, yes, but until the system is fixed, this behavior cannot be curbed.
Do you also know that impersonators can change a location to Nigeria so as to throw people off their tracks?

This attempt to equate HE PO to a murderous inhuman is an effort in futility. This narrative is dead on arrival. HE PO has no similarities whatsoever, no commonalities whatsoever and has nothing synonymous to gumi. So try something else.

These people are inept and useless. They have absolutely no business being in government. They shouldn't be managing even a WhatsApp group, but here is Nigeria, either cursed or being punished with disastrous leadership, square pegs in round holes.
If they are not sponsoring terrorists, they are sympathizing with them, if they are not enabling terrorists, they are having meetings with them, if they are not dining with terrorists, they are integrating them into the army... spits...There was a country

Your house is burning, but you are more concerned about something else. The delusions of a northern slave is something that needs to be studied.
Bandits and terrorists ravage villages and communities, they kill, injure, rape, destroy and pillage in large numbers, everyday and every week. They kill military personnel every other day, they kidnap in large quantities, impose levy and taxes, collect tributes in form of cash and farm products, all these are non issues according to them, it's NK.

What you're preaching isn't protest. It is government-deposing anarchy that will lead to deaths, destruction and chaos.

You should organise such with your name and identity, and be at the front leading it rather than cowardly encouraging it online
Government-deposing you say? How?
When has a protest in Nigeria ever toppled a government? Don't attempt to be clever by the half, any protest being announced weeks before, is as good as a charade, a complete waste of time, energy and resources.
If you weren't listening before, I said an unorganized, unprepared, spontaneous protest is the only effective kind of protest, no one needs to organize it.
PoliticsRe: #EndBadGovernance Movement Declares Another Nationwide Protest Against Tinubu by tesseract: 2:15am On Nov 20, 2025
Do you announce a protest weeks before you embark on it.? Whoever is organizing this protest is working for the government. The only protest that will have any effect is a spontaneous one with no leadership and no announcement.

seunowa:
You should hide your head in shame. What are you doing to intensify the talk that there is Christians genocide in Nigeria? Who are people giving Nigerians insecurity problems? Are they not Islamic jihadists? Who are motivated by their religion indoctrination, politicians from the North, emirs, and traditional leaders. I have seen a local government chairman ftom the North taking selfies with terrorists.
Tinubu is also the cause of insecurity challenges because he knows what to do. What is he waiting for? Give states and local governments: state security network and implement resources control to the state and local governments.
So the Pastor should be the one to do all that you have mentioned abi? Don't we have a president? Is he there for show? Can he not weild his political power? Yet you open your gutter to say the man of God should hide his head in shame, when there is a president in charge of the country.
