Funny enuf i was just called today regarding this training by one Mr Steve, if i would be available..And he said they sent me the mail (i didnt get the mail) but since i didnt give any feedback, they decided to call....He says the training is @Akwa-ibom and it starts in three weeks from now...no specific date was given anyway. Details he said would be supplied b4 the start of the training.

like I didn't see that thread b4 throwing it open....its an open discussion, how real is dat....Nlng obviously pays more than shell, same with Mobil and total, how come shell tops dat list is my question?

mysteryman: Nigerians are not cooperative at all ,If i were the akwa ibom governor i would join the akwaibom with calabar as one mega city and invest all the money to build one power station for constant electricity first before anything else.connect the city with freeways , build one world class airport which serves the whole city instead of building the usual substandard third world looking airports every where.
the division and tribalism in Nigeria is a hindrance to common sense and first world development. in my opinion the ibeno and mbo shores should be the downtown with skyscrapers,beach resorts and sea ports like Miami. buy all lands from everyone, and build organized suburbs with homes and apartment buildings .
demolish all villages and construct suburbs ,demolish local markets and build grocery stores and employ the market women as cashiers. ban street hawking.
ban keke napep and implement the street car and Bus transit and employ and train them as drivers and mechanics to maintain the transit system.
the city planning in akwa ibom is not conducive for public transit,which means that everything has to be demolished and re planned to include wider one-way roads and non-dualized two-way roads with street cars. I dont know why Nigerians are obsessed with dualization which is supposed to be for only freeways .
Nigerian mentality sucks and I am afraid Nigeria may never really develop to be first world ,only a person looking from outside can come in and make a great change by force.
P.S : I find it hard to comprehend how a city or state can even function without a power station. even a 5th grader who uses sim city knows that Power station and constant power supply is the first priority before absolutely anything else .

MarvellousGod: bro, anything lower than 2:1 isn't accepted. .getting past the application process is one thing, then being invited for interview and srd to test your CAR another thing. .it's when you are done with online application and tests that you can start talking abt CAR and anything less than 2:1 can't get you past online application. .

Yeah, it is true that there is some degree of transparency in the SRD process Ps i didnt say this, but one can not rule out the fact that the process is biased to some (perhaps a large) extent. Infact, this year (2013) SRD ain't among the most genuine SRD's ever.
You wouldn't know because u haven't fallen a victim or was not among the victims.
It will also interest you to know that the Deltans, Bayelsans and the Rivers are mostly the ones getting the job. Dunno why.

So now that u have your offer, give us info from after your SRD, where u did your SRD, what your status changed to after SRD, period u had your medicals after SRD exact date not necessary, status up till offer was doled out to you, what position u recieved offer for, guess u r resuming jan 6th abi, dont ask how i know...Guy congrats once again......

Can anyone please confirm if SRD schedules are still on for this December, my status has been on pending final assessment since God knows wen, no SRD date up till now. I don contact scheduling coordinator always getting same response that they are searching for available dates, my fear is dat December is d deadline does it mean SRD also ends same time? And also are there any other house members with similar pending final assessment status here, let's rub mind . pls your candid feedback is appreciated
