The problem is the National Assembly...would they be willing to take further cuts in salaries?

Anyway....I expect austerity government. APC and PDP better prepare for that reality....because I don;t see oil rising up to $100 again....with everybody producing oil right now...even Cuba!
Or maybe tis just providence that brought him in at this rough patch, his ascetism will be help him trim the fat in the government.Hopefully,he makes just enough to diversify and consolidate the economy…But it all depend on his team and with APC filled with very good technocrats,Nigeria should be in good hands at this rough patch. The only dark cloud is the ND militancy.. Our economy is already in a bad state. Oil revenues are dropping...and will continue to drop.

(Infact.....isn't it lucky no Southerner is in charge, ironically speaking.? If Ekwueme had taken over in 1987.....we would have been bashing him for devaluing the Naira in the 80's!)

I don't expect Buhari to cut off the ex-millitants....but everyone is gonna see leaner purses...and higher taxes. I expect the oil subsidy to vanish too...to save kudi.
Yeah, We should all prepare for a leaner but much more efficient Nigeria...our only fears are the cabals around him.

I can bet Asari and Tompolo will go for peace. They have made too much money to want to mess up. i only suspect some new unknown boys will want to spring up but they will be taken care of.
Enough money to fritter away won't be enough for these guys but a continued engagement to keep the income stream flowing therefore in the likelihood that Buhari cancels their contract then oil bunkering and sabotage will go off the roof.. Our ailing economy will be worse for wear.

The Yorubas even not in politics have a very high tendency to betray trust. Its in their blood, hence why most igbo people hate them.
hate is a very strong word,we don't hate yorubas,we just have mutual distrust with them and watch out, the drama isn't over yet. Because Buhari will be impressed with the staunch loyalty of SE/SS to GEJ and could seek to secure his base dumping thieffnubu before courting SE/SS...Only Enugu knocked out diferences of Ogun,Oyo,Ondo even Lagos combined, any northern political rival like Atiku or Kwankaso will take keen notice. Lol!!! Y bro!!! Read what you wrote up there and smack your bum bum. If Britain conquer Nigeria as a case study and begin to exploit our resources(raw materials) as a nation and controlled every part of our lives as people, pls what are we suppose to called that bro ? economic freedom I presumed. Lol!! C'mon bro,, that economic shackles right there.
So how does that correllate to Nigeria freeing her 'economic shackles' from ND to be like China?? If you say we escaped Britain? And you have also said we should escape ND then ND should be the one who exploited Nigeria...not so?? See how we stood your logic on its own head. The ND should be the one to escape Nigeria from exploitation and with the perception of injustice already established by those in the creeks,we just hope Buhari presides this nation with wisdom hereafter. That is true picture of Nigeria my dear. There is nothing for me to gain in lying.

Igbos are naturally helpful to one another in foreign land but in their region, they may be a pain on one anothers' ass. Trust me, Heaven knows that Igbos are more guity of what that guy was accusing Hausa of and that is why when it comes to nepotism in federal employment where Igbo man is the head of that exercise, trust me, forget it...

If you doubt me, go to Federal ministry of education
That is your biased opinion which isn't the fact especially when you consider the Federal Character makeup of the Civil Service which has the northerners with the majority with yorubas coming second and so they occuppy top positions everywhere.Beside no Federal civil service applicant is interviewd by one person that is if they aren't employed outrightly via man-no-man lists....Bros,you sabi lie pass devil. Pls my friend, I want you to read the story of China and how they liberate themselves from the economic shackles that was placed on them by Japan.

Let's be practical and realistic here, as an individual, the best way to remain unhappy as a man/woman in your relationship or any sort of relationship is to believe that your existence lies on your partner/friend.

The greatest a nation or individual could make is to believe that his/her existence can only survive on a particular thing from his/her most trusted friend or family cos one day, just one day, u ll be screwed up. This is applicable to Nigeria story, Nigeria ll pay dearly for it but trust me, at the end of d day, it won't last forever and it ll only set our foots on the new path of economic growth and discover....

If Lagos state can do it under Tinubu government, trust me, we as a nation would definitely do better.

Most developed countries are doing pretty well without oil and Nigeria case won't be exceptional. We ll surely get there and set ourselves free from this tribal rubbish coming from a tribe that is not even up to d population of Kano.
First off China wasnt placed under economic dependency by Japan whatsoever, that's a lie, infact Japan conquered, exploited and economically depended on China for their raw materials and heavy population ironically this sounds familiar with the plight of ND...Anyway,China sacrificed a lot to be where they are right now.Can we do that?? Already Osun workers are crying and Buhari or ND militants haven't resumed yet.

Lies from pit of hell. That was what you are fed up with by southerners without any verification. Pls, come to Federal secretariat and Presidency in Abuja and tell me if Hausas/Fulanis are occupying more federal positions than Southerners.

Pls come to Accountant General office directly opposite old CBN and tell me if Hausas are occupying more positions than their brothers and sisters in the south.

I have worked in private and public sector and I can tell u that southerners are more socially and economically served than the Northerners.

Guess what! This is not a tribal war but fact; if you give an hausa man an opportunity to conduct a job interview for Hausa man as an applicant, Yoruba and Igbo on merit basis, trust me, the Hausa man ll go with that given directive.

Pls ask a Yoruba man to do the same thing but the applicant mistakenly find out that the interviewer is a Yoruba man and only for him to say E kàro sa in Yoruba language so as to attract nepotism/ tribal favour (Meaning Goodmorning), I can bet my life on it that you have already failed that interview.

However, go in there with Igbo man with d Igbo man as an interviewer and the applicant says Igbo kwenu!!!!! Trust me bro, that applicant has got that job oooo just like that. I am not beefing Igbos but stating the obvious in federal ministries and parastatals in Abuja

This is true picture of Nigeria but that does not necessarily mean that my view represent the view of every Nigerians. [/s]
