Dear Joe, Many thanks for your reply. I would add that the layover is about 13 hours and someone had said that if the layover is above 6 hours that one would need a transit visa. Could you please tell me a bit of your own experience? JosephAdeoba: |
Hello all, Has anyone used Egypt air to travel to Germany? Was transit visa required in Cairo during the layover? Please reply if you have information to this regard. Thanks. |
The universities in Baden-Württemberg do grant exemption from the 1,500 Euro tuition fees paid each semester to some category of countries. For instance, The University of Tübingen (officially the Eberhard Karls University Tübingen) grants exemption to a list of Least Developed Countries, of which Nigeria is included in the list. However, you have to apply for exemption immediately after admission. The exemption application is usually within 3 weeks after admission. I believe this is a Baden-Württemberg policy and not just the university of Tübingen. Therefore, anyone who intends to apply for a public university in Baden-Württemberg should email the international admissions office of the university to find out if the same policy applies there. Best wishes. datOnitshaboy: |
Hello Alero13: I would be happy to chat with you about this for more details. I have sent you an email request. Could you please respond so that we can chat in more detail? Many thanks. Alero13: |
My question is that - do you have to book a family reunion for your child before your travel or this must be done after you are already in German for studies. Please kindly clarify. Thanks
@ardoniece, The woman is wants to leave at the same time with the daughter and not to go to Germany first because there is no one to leave her daughter for. In the student visa form, there is a question about whether the applicant will be accompanied by a family member and which? What is unclear to me is whether this application covers also for the child. Thanks. |
Greetings am also going with my 5months old baby I called. The embassy for enquiry and I was asked to do the following 1. Pay half of d blocked amount for my child which is 5200euros 2. Book a family reunion visa for d child. That all. I hope this helps
Hello @adorniece, Many thanks for your reply. A few more questions please: 1. Would the additional 5,200 be paid into your blocked account? Secondly, would it also be blocked or just deposited in excess of the 10,236? 2. If you book for a reunion, does it mean you will attend a separate interview for your child? PS. Would you mind if I send you a private message to get further information from your own experience? May thanks. |
Hello good people of nairaland, I have tried to get information from the embassy through emails but it has been difficult. A lady with a one year old daughter is going for student visa interview (category A, she's a masters candidate) next week and is applying for the daughter to be issued visa as well. 1. How much does she need to block in her account? 2. Would she need to go to the interview with her daughter? 3. What additional documents would she have to go with? Many thanks for your kind contributions. |
In Mbaise, Ediabali is civet. Hyena is not native to Igboland. I doubt it has a name in Igbo. NnamdiN: |
Many thanks for your reply. Do you mean Euro 500 monthly? asamwababy: |
Good evening house! Many thanks to you all for the contributions. I have this inquiry on behalf of an applicant who is going for masters this winter. She has a 1 year old baby and would like to know how much she would require in her blocked account in Germany to be granted visa together with her baby. For a single person, I know it is 8,640 Euros but for someone accompanied by a baby, I am unsure what the requirement is. Does anyone have any information about this situation? NB: Applicant is self-funded but has sufficient funds. |
This claim is lacks any credibility. Do they know what $3,000 dollars is? Over a million naira daily. They can find other excuses to give for not being able to suppress the insurgents. |
What course were you admitted for? priscysylvia: |
There is a lot of ignorance on this thread. Chinese demand for donkey skin for the production of their traditional and herbal supplements explains the existence of that donkey "ranch". Chinese demand for Donkey is enormous to the extent that a number of African countries have banned it's export to China fearing a disastrous decline in domestic donkey populations. Don't be deceived about donkey meat consumption in the East. A few people may, but that's not the reason there is a spike in demand for donkeys in the North from the East. Igbo business guys have keyed into the Chinese market to supply them as supplies from other African countries have fallen. It is a pity that the Nigerian government is not even understanding what is driving the new trend nor its implications. Worse of, ignorant nairalanders are here chasing irrelevant narratives.
