Bakr bin Abdullah once said, "You can speak to your Lord and Master any time you like."
"How?" inquired somebody.
He replied, "Perform your wudhu properly and stand up for salaat."

Inspiring thread i must say. May Almighty Allah in His infinite mercies 4give us our sins and make our deeds a fruitful 1. InshaAllah. Amin

Stop being a defeatist. Do your own part; vote for Buhari-Bakare and watch. Not doing nothing with your vote is as good as telling GEJ to continue importing dust-bins from UK, dolling out millions to visitors, musicians, and actors, harbouring killers and looters, and giving them medals. If there is a change in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, Yemen then why not in Nigeria?

Go out and Vote Buhari-Bakare 2011 for the future of your children

PEOPLE SHLD LEARN TO IGNORE THIS WOMAN AND HER GRAMMAR.

GRAMMAR IS NOT WHAT WE NEED TO PUT THIS COUNTRY IN ORDER.
BESIDES, SHE IS JUST THE WIFE OF THE PRESIDENT.

Me I fear Aunty Dora these days tbh. While I don't doubt her intellectual capacity one bit, I don't rate her high in the area of loyalty. But Ngozi Okonjo should be a good candidate.

ngozi is currently the MD of world bank of africa. She cant do 2 things at a time na.

And as for Akala; don't fink he will be present. cuz i avnt heard im speak english. Will lyk to c im speak one day cuz he really looks like eleran ibadan!  lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

Politics / Bankole, Daniel Escape Death In Helicopter Crash by Thalophyta(f): 1:43pm On Mar 03, 2011
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Dimeji Bankole; and Ogun State Governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, on Wednesday escaped death when a helicopter in which they were travelling from the Ondo State capital, Akure, to Abeokuta, Ogun State crashlanded.

THE PUNCH learnt that the helicopter developed engine problems mid-air and lost contact with the control tower at the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos. The situation forced the pilot of the chartered helicopter to land in a primary school a few kilometres from Abeokuta.

The loss of contact with the control tower was said to have caused apprehension at the airport. The helicopter had been expected to return to Lagos, from where it began the journey on Wednesday morning.

It was learnt that apart from both personalities and the pilot, there were two security aides aboard the helicopter. A source said the craft landed in Abule-Odo, Obafe in Obafemi Owode Local Government Area, adding that they were rescued by a passing motorist.

When contacted, Bankole’s Special Adviser on Communications, Chief Kayode Odunaro, confirmed the incident, but said both men were not hurt in the crash.

Odunaro, who spoke with one of our correspondents at 10.34pm, said they were rescued by their aides, who rushed in a convoy to the location of the crash.

He said, “Apparently, there was an incident. The Speaker and the governor were on board the helicopter. It was a helicopter incident and they landed in a village five minutes’ drive from Abeokuta along Ajebo Road.

“We thank God that both of them are safe. The Speaker has been holding a meeting with a youth group since 8pm.”
