Nigerian actress, Tonto Dikeh has stated that she cannot be shamed for sleeping with men.

She made the statement in posts she shared on her social media page.

This followed the dirty fight she had with ex-lover, Prince Kpokpogri.

According to Tonto, gone are the days women are shamed for sleeping with men.

Nigerian superstar musician, Davido on Friday made history as the first Nigerian to feature in the official FIFA World Cup soundtrack.

In a video he posted on his social media page, the star was also seen hanging out with Hollywood superstar, Idris Elba who was one of the two hosts of the event that took place in Qatar.

Nigeria's Jay-Jay Okocha also took part in the draw.

Apart from featuring in the soundtrack, Davido also performed live alongside two other international musicians who were also featured in the soundtrack.

At the backstage, Davido had a chat with Elba showing that the two may have been having a good relationship before meeting in Qatar.
Nigeria missed out after failing to qualify for the World Cup, but the musician made many people proud with his inclusion in FIFA's soundtrack.

A Lawmaker has been given the embarrassment of the year after being chased out of his community by his constituents.

According to DailyTrust, the politician has been identified as the lawmaker representing Magama in the Niger State House of Assembly, Suleiman Musa Nasko.

Nasko was attacked on Saturday, March 19, when he went on a condolence visit to the families of the victims of bandit attack in which a Divisional Police Officer and six other security operatives were killed.

The angry constituents comprising mostly of youths booed him and stoned his convoy out of town, saying “we are no longer interested”

Sources told Daily Trust that the lawmaker had successfully met with the District Head of Auna, when some group of youths started shouting “only one term”, leading to a fight between his supporters and the irate youths.

The lawmaker managed to escape unhurt because of his security guards.

The spokesperson to the lawmaker, Sahabi Mahmud, who confirmed the incident, said that Nasko was not happy with what happened.

"It was a misunderstanding between the supporters of the Members Representing Magama, Hon Suleiman Musa and some youths," Mahmud said.

"The incident truly happened in Auna where the lawmaker went to console the family of one of the vigilantes who was killed alongside other security operatives in Nasko.

"So, it was on our way out that some few youths started chanting ‘we are not interested’ which didn’t go down well with supporters of the Lawmaker. And even when heard that his people confronted each other, he wasn’t happy."

Nigerian man strangled inside his house in the US (photos)

A Nigerian man named Ken Obi was found dead in his apartment in Newark,  New Jersey.
 
According to reports, he had been dead for a while before he was discovered.
 
His body was already decomposing when he was found.
 
His cause of death has not been revealed. Though some claim he was strangled, this speculation has not been confirmed.

Ken was reportedly married to a Jamaican woman but they split.

He reportedly lived alone, which is why his death was undetected for days.

Two teenagers have narrated how they killed their neighbour's 8-year-old son, Raheem Bamimore.

This comes after police in Oyo State arrested the two teenage brothers, Waliu Abd Razaq and Iliaz Abdul Razaq alongside their father, AbdulRasaq Padun.

They were accused of abduction and murder.

The boy who was declared missing last Friday afternoon, March 4, 2022, in Saki town, was found dead in an uncompleted building along Ogbooro road, in Al-Barka area on Sunday, March 6.

It was gathered that Raheem came back home from school around 12:30pm on that fateful Friday, dropped his backpack and rushed out.

His parents had declared him missing after he didn’t return home.

"They said they had thought that maybe he forgot something at school but he never returned home," a source said.

According to the deceased’s twin brother, they were already at the gate of their parent’s house, when some guys in the neighborhood beckoned to his brother for a conversation before he entered into the house.

After body of the boy was discovered, residents made a distress call to Amotekun Corps operatives who arrested the suspects on Monday, March 7.

One of the suspects, AbdulRasaq upon interrogation confessed that they had the intent of kidnapping AbdulRaheem to get money from his father, by luring him to a building.

Unfortunately for them, the boy recognised their faces as they live in the same neighbourhood.

For the fear that AbdulRaheem could easily reveal to his parents how he had been manhandled and tied up, the other accomplice, Waliu who is AbdulRasaq’s brother, gave the boy rat poison to drink.

Meanwhile, AbdulRaheem’s body was discovered by the community residents in the uncompleted building where he was dumped by the father of the suspects, AbdulRasaq Padun, a rat poison dealer.

During interrogation, Iliaz Abdul Razaq, one of the suspects said: "We planned to kidnap him and demand ransom from the deceased Father because he's rich. My brother, Waliu Abd Razaq lured him to one uncompleted building with a mango. I told him to release him because he's still a minor. But Waliu ignored me and told me that he can't release him because he already saw his face. So, after some time, he later gave Raheem rat poison and killed him."

Meanwhile, some concerned citizens have stormed the Police station in Saki demanding for justice. However, some unknown mob invaded the police station in disguise and joined the protesters.

The D.P.O, Mr. Oluyinka Oluokun Kolawolale area 2 divisional headquarter, Saki, in an interview with Jfm 95.5 news correspondent said the mob were planning to destroy and set the station ablaze.

However, the situation was handled by the Nigerian Army, Policemen and Amotekun without any killings and also added that he will make sure that the perpetrators of this horrific crime be brought to justice.
