Crime / How I Was Scammed Through Fake Alert! by Thankgodiyke(m): 1:50pm On Apr 20 |
I used to hear of scam through fake alert I have never experienced it before until three days ago when this young looking couple came to my wife's shop to buy things. I usually go to pick my wife from shop when I close from my own business. On that fateful day around 8.pm her Gen went off as fuel got exhausted and so is the CCTV camera so their faces were not captured she was actually balancing her account and arranging to close for the day whey they came appearing all friendly and chatty and they picked some items everything amounted to 12k and they requested for Cash of 10k totaling 22k. They requested for account no and my wife called out her monie point account and the lady said she can't find monie point and requested for another bank account and my wife called out her GTB account she called the account name and said it was successful and flash the screen to my wife's face. My wife said they will have to wait for confirmation she logged in through her app and couldn't see anything. Meanwhile the guy was coughing seriously and the lady started complaining that her baby is crying in the car and ask to drop her phone no. After some time I asked my wife to let them go out of my good heart and concern for the baby in the car that it could be network problem that is causing the delay after getting their contact. We got home I asked my wife to check she said nothing is in her account my wife decided to Dial that number surprising her Truecaller app brought out her name as 'Onye ohi Rice' meaning Rice thief that was when it dawn on us that we have been scammed. Since that day we have tried plenty times to call and chat the num on Whatsapp but no response. This is the number 08105384984 registered as Ifeanyi Nwakaibeya. I have refunded my wife the money though but I'm really sad that such young people go about stealing from people. Nairalanders I know it's a small change but I wish I can get this guy and lady and deal with them. 208 Likes 15 Shares |

RIVERS STATE GOVT IS OWING THE 13,000 TEACHERS
RECRUITED BY AMAECHI 9 MONTHS’ SALARY
The 13000 Teachers recruited by Amaechi worked for
over a year before they start receiving their salary.
After working for one year, they were forced to sign a
form stating that they have only worked for eight
months.
Amaechi have managed to pay three months out of the
eight months he agreed to pay them meaning that he
(Amaechi is owing 6 months plus these recent three
months (April, May and June) salary making nine
months.
The worst news is that the Public school pupils are
suffering. They have not been receiving lessons and will
not also be given the third term exams.
Wike have borrowed 30 billion so far in 30 days
meaning he is spending one billion per day. Yet he was
the one that was on radio and television castigating
Amaechi of Borrowing. Una think say E-easy?
Buhari is now begging Governors to devise a means of
paying workers salary. Una been think say Jonathan
been dey there dey drink tea? Hehehehehehe
YOU ARE IN FOR IT.
WIKE - PAY YOUR WORKERS SALARY
BUHARI - SEND YOUR GOVERNORS THEIR MONTHLY

Non-indigenes In Rivers Petition Buhari Over Wike’s
Sack Some Nigerians congregating under the umbrella of Endangered Non Indigenes Forum in Rivers State, EINFRS, have urged President Muhammadu Buhari to come to their rescue following moves by Governor Nyesom Wike to crack down on them as part of his plot to deal ruthlessly with associates and loyalties of his predecessor: Hon. Chibuike Amaechi. Their fear was heightened by feelers that the eight-man Committee institued by Wike to compile the names of non-indigenes in the State Civil Service and business outfits belonging to non-indigenes has secretly submitted its report. The report advocates for the crackdown to be in phases and to start with the sack of non-indigenous civil servants starting from third week of July 2015. The EINFRS has consequently petitioned President Buhari, pleading that he should come to their aid before the Governor endangers their lives just because they, in keeping with their pact with Amaechi, actively supported his (Buhari’s) candidature. The petition signed by the Forum’s Secretary General, Dr Ndubuisi Nwakadibia reads in part, “Mr. President, you have through your sagacity and revolutionary leadership since your inauguration as the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces brought peace, tranquility and integration to all Nigerians irrespective of their ethnic and tribal backgrounds. “It is sad that unlike other States enjoying peace and democracy Chief Nyesom Wike, the Governor of River State, has made it a policy to torment our people for supporting your candidature instead of that of Dr Jonathan Goodluck, the former President, during the March 28th Presidential election since his inauguration as the Governor of Rivers State. “He has embarked upon on an ignoble decimation of APC structures, retrenchment, sack, intimidation, harassment and victimisation of non-indigenes, particularly APC members and supporters resident in Rivers State. “Your Excellency, Sir, we are by this petition appealing to you to use your good offices and effervescent nature to call Chief Wike to order, and SAVE US from this unwarranted, unprecedented and provocative onslaught against us for failing to identify with his evil agenda against us and the people of Rivers State. “As we told you during our Town Hall Meeting with you at Obi Wali’s International Conference Centre, Port Harcourt in March, 2015, we have no other State to go to apart from Rivers State as most of us were born in Rivers State and for Chief Wike to continue to intimidate us in a State we have contributed much to build is not our ideal of democracy.” The non-indigenes further called on President Buhari to remember and adequately appreciate Amaechi’s contributions to his victory, stressing that,“We wish to appeal to remember all the risks that Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi took to ensure the success we recorded in the Presidential polls and ensure that he is comfortably accommodated in your administration as anything less than this will amount to adding to the pain that we are currently going through in Rivers State” - |

Governor Nyesom Wike is set to sack 13,000
workers employed by his predecessor, Rotimi
Amaechi. This comes as Rivers House of Assembly
passed a resolution empowering the Governor to
sack the board of the State Civil Service
Commission accusing them of breaching the rules
and illegally employing workers into the state
Service.
The Rivers lawmakers passed the resolution on
Tuesday after grilling the Chairman of the Service
Commission, Mr Ngo Martins Yellowe on the floor
of the House based on petitions accusing the
Commission of not passing through due process
before employing workers in past three years.
Yellowe, however, told lawmakers that the
Commission under his leadership obeyed the
constitution and laws guiding employment into the
service.
Observers of Rivers politics however see the
invitation and quizzing of Ngo Martins Yellowe by
the lawmakers as a prelude to the sacking of the
Commission appointed by the immediate past
administration of Governor Chibuike Amaechi and
also the sacking the civil servants employed three
years to date, especially over 13,200 teachers and
others engaged by the immediate past
administration of Governor Chibuike Amaechi.
The Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission,
RSIEC, Chairman Prof Augustine Ahiazu was
invited to answer questions about how local
government election was conducted. Thereafter a
resolution was passed mandating Governor Wike to
sack the Commission.Wike sacked RSIEC the next
day.
Similarly, the Rivers State Judiciary Service
Commission suffered same fate after its members
were invited to the floor of the House.
The fears of over 13,200 teachers in the state, over
400 doctors and nurses employed by the former
Governor Amaechi is palpable if they fall into the
category of workers adjudged to have been wrongly
employed into the state civil service. |
