Mentorship is a concept that resonates deeply with me. Despite being someone who has grown accustomed to doing things independently, I have come to realize the undeniable power and value of mentorship. I often think about how different my journey might have been if I had had a mentor while growing up. While I am grateful for where I am today, I believe a mentor could have propelled me even further.

What is Mentorship?
At its core, mentorship is a relationship in which a more experienced or knowledgeable person provides guidance and support to a less experienced individual, known as the mentee. Both the mentor and mentee should learn and grow from the relationship.

What Makes a Good Mentor?
A good mentor is someone who embodies these key qualities:
1. Experience: They possess a wealth of life and professional experience that they willingly share to help you navigate your own path.
2. Knowledge: They have deep knowledge in areas where you lack expertise, and they’re eager to impart that knowledge to you.

Who Can Be a Mentor?

Common Mistakes Mentees Make
One of the biggest mistakes mentees make is attempting to turn mentors into financial helpers. Mentorship is not about financial aid. A mentor’s role is to provide you with the tools and guidance, not resources or money. If they offer financial help voluntarily, fine. But it should never be expected or requested.

The Principle of Give and Take in Mentorship

As someone who has followed the UTME trends over the years and witnessed significantly higher performance benchmarks in the past, I must express a deep concern regarding the latest result analysis released by JAMB for the 2025 examination cycle.

While the board deserves commendation for its detailed breakdown and transparency, the statistics are troubling. Only 0.63% of the nearly two million candidates scored 300 and above—a stark contrast to previous years where a higher percentage reached this tier. Even more concerning is the concentration of candidates—over 50%—scoring between 160 and 199, which raises questions about either the exam difficulty, the quality of teaching, or both.

This analysis brings several critical issues to the forefront:

Are the current secondary education curricula and teaching methods adequately preparing students for the UTME?

Has the UTME become significantly more difficult, or is it a matter of declining academic preparedness among candidates?

What strategies are being employed to ensure that the large cohort scoring below 200 receives the academic support they need, especially in light of university cut-off marks?

Are socio-economic or technological barriers, such as access to digital learning resources, disproportionately affecting performance?

The low percentage of candidates scoring above 250, typically seen as competitive for high-demand courses, also signals potential future challenges in university admissions. Moreover, with 40,000 underage candidates sitting for the exam and only a small fraction meeting “exceptional” thresholds, are we pushing students into high-stakes testing prematurely?

Finally, while it is positive that JAMB is investigating biometric issues and malpractices, the rising number of candidates involved in infractions is another symptom of systemic pressure and perhaps desperation.

If we are to restore confidence in the educational system and ensure a future of academically strong graduates, there must be a national dialogue on the root causes of this decline and what can be done to reverse it.

Do not let anyone deceive you. The church is a huge business and the Pastors are the Chief Marketing officer marketing Jesus as a product.
Why are we deceiving ourselves by trying so hard to prove that the church is not a business when indeed Jesus describes the church as a business.

The Bible uses many adjectives to describe the church: a family, a body, a fellowship, a flock, and more. Jesus has the best adjective to describe what the church is in Luke chapter 2 verse 49.

Luke 2:49 (Weymouth New Testament)

"Why is it that you have been searching for me?" He replied; "did you not know that it is my duty to be engaged upon my Father's business?"

From the Bible passage (above), it is crystal clear that the church is indeed a business (as described by Jesus). Why are we ashamed then? Why are we as Christians ashamed to admit that indeed we are in a business!

If the church is a business, What Kind of Business is the Church Business?

In Matthew Chapter 28 verses 18 to 20, Jesus speaking here gave a direct order on what the church's business is.

"And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

"and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

In today's world, a lot of churches operates as a profit-making enterprise. One thing is clear from the King's command (the Bible passage above), the church is not a profit-making enterprise unlike what we have all around us today.

A lot of pastors sell a different product, they've completely abandoned the product (Jesus) that they were called into the business to market. They shamelessly manipulate the Bible to suit their agenda.

One of the most manipulated Bible verses has to be the book of Malachi chapter 3 verse 10.

"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house..."

Everyone seems to know this phrase, which includes the people who have never stepped their foot into a church. This is because this coercion is more popular than the king's business.

A lot of people have rightfully defended their men of God who use this style to defraud people of their hard-earned money. I do not blame them, we all have our right to do whatever we believe is right. One thing that baffles me though, is the fact that things that were written in black and white in the same Bible the man of God quoted from seems too far away from some people. Sometimes, I wonder if people read the Bible.

Before you judge me, let us read the same Malachi chapter 1.

Who is the book of Malachi addressed to in Malachi Chapter 3?

You might not be able to answer this question if you do not read the book of Malachi from chapter 1.

Malachi 1 verse 6

“A son honors his father, and a slave his master.

If I am a father, where is the honor due me?

If I am a master, where is the respect due me?” says the LORD Almighty.

“It is you PRIESTS who show contempt for my name..."

Hmmmmmm.

The last sentence clearly mentioned the people who were addressed in the book of Malachi, the priests.

It is true that what you do not know the root of, you might be ignorant of the truth.

The priests during the time of the Prophet Malachi committed all sorts of atrocities. Some of them stole from the temple, some took other people's wives, some received tithes from the people, but take out of it for their own selfish gain, etc.

These acts moved God to anger, and through Prophet Malachi, He spoke to them in the words recorded in the book of Malachi.

All the curses in chapter 3 are meant for the corrupt priests, not the people. Chapter 2 of the book of Malachi clearly establish these facts.

Malachi 2 verse 1 - 2

“And now, you priests, this warning is for you.

If you do not listen, and if you do not resolve to honour my name,”

says the LORD Almighty,

“I will send a curse on you, and I will curse your blessings.

Yes, I have already cursed them,

because you have not resolved to honour me."

From these verses of Malachi chapter 2, it is clear that the messages were directed to the priests who were disgracing the name of God in pursuit of their own business. Just as it is in today's world.

Let me re-emphasize this, I am not and will never underestimate the importance of a Pastor. This is not an attack on the church or any man of God, but a body of work put together to educate.

In the book of John chapter 2 verse 16, the Bible describes what Jesus did to those who were selling doves in the temple.

"To those who sold doves, he said, “Get these out of here! Stop turning my Father’s house into a market!”

This is symbolic. a dove is a symbol of peace and innocence in different cultures around the world.

No matter how gentle or innocent-looking the business you are selling with the name of the church is, if it is not about marketing Jesus, You've turned the church into a marketplace. You should get out of the church!

In Matthew chapter 6 verse 24, the Bible clearly states that "no man or woman can serve two masters. For either he will hate one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money".

In conclusion, we have established the fact that the church is a huge business, and Pastors are the Chief Marketing officer marketing Jesus as a product. We have also established the fact that the church is not a money-making venture but a business that sells the love and peace of God to all men and women across the world.

I know these things cost money. It is okay for people to give willingly to a church, to support the church's aspirations and goals. But, it is wrong to make people give out of fear.

I am here to enlighten you not to leave you with a bag load of fear and worries.
You ready to learn?

Let's go.

First of all, let us take a quick look at how plastic water bottles are manufactured.

I will quote GoPurePod a lot in this article.

"The creation of plastic water bottles is the result of a manufacturing process where multiple raw materials are manipulated to create a shape ideal for holding liquids. In a raw state, plastic is composed of multiple organic polymers including polyethylene and ethylene. In a soft state, these materials can be shaped into the desired form for the bottle and then cast into a solid-state."

Bottled water is often depicted as being higher quality than tap water, the fact is that in many instances bottled water is glorified tap water. There is a general perception that bottled water is higher quality, more pristine water; and while people may feel safer drinking bottled water, that comfort may be an illusion.

Most bottled water comes from similar sources as your municipal water supply, meaning that there is likely nothing special about your bottled water other than its branding. Although some manufacturers put their water through additional filtering before bottling it, many do not and simply charge for the packaging.

Don't get me wrong, some bottled water is great. Some are bottled from special springs. However, water that is bottled from special springs is rare, and the fact is that In some cases, your bottled water may be less pure than what comes out of your tap at home you would likely get the purest drinking water by filtering your tap water at home (Lekki people cannot relate - winks).

A lot of research works proved bottled water is laced with harmful chemicals such as phthalates which have been linked to an increased risk of cancer. Additionally, plastic bottles contain bisphenol A (BPA), (an industrial chemical that has been used to make certain plastics and resins since the 1950s) which has been linked to various reproductive issues. This simply means that bottled water can increase the chance of cancer and the reusing of its bottles can lead to reproductive issues.

Disease in Adults

Exposure to the toxins in plastic water bottles has also been linked to higher rates of disease in adults. It has been found that people who drink a lot of bottled water, and in particular those who had high concentrations of BPA in their urine, were three times more likely to suffer from cardiovascular disease, and were 2.4 times more likely to develop Type 2 diabetes than individuals with low concentrations of BPA in their bodies.

Cancers, Liver and Kidney Damage

The primary risk associated with drinking bottled water is the fact that you can be exposed to harmful toxins from the plastic. Even though water is not acidic (unlike soda), whenever you drink out of a plastic bottle, you risk ingesting the chemicals used to make the bottles as these toxins can leach into the water over time. This is particularly common with older water bottles and/or those that have been exposed to heat. Plastic toxins can then make their way into your bloodstream, which can cause a host of problems including various cancers as well as liver and kidney damage. Unfortunately, at this time scientists do not fully understand all of the potential long-term effects of ingesting toxins through the consumption of bottled water; however, these toxins can accumulate in your system over the years leaving you prone to a variety of health problems.

Fertility Issues & Disabilities in Children

Water through leaching plastic can cause a variety of chromosomal abnormalities that have been tied to birth defects and developmental disabilities in children. It is then often recommended that women do not drink bottled water (particularly water from Type 7 plastic bottles) when pregnant.

It Can Also Lead to Weight Gain

Both BPA and BHPF have been found to disrupt the hormones in our bodies. In particular, it is the effect both of these compounds have on the estrogen levels in both men and women that has been tied to weight management problems. Exposure to the compounds in plastic water bottles can ultimately influence the rate at which fat is stored in your body and where fat is stored, which can cause weight gain and difficulty losing weight.

Bacteria Infections

When you reuse bottles you risk additional chemicals and microplastics from the bottle entering your drinking water. Additionally, the shape of these bottles makes it nearly impossible to clean them, and the soft plastic they are made out of creates a perfect breeding ground for bacteria, which can make it hazardous to your health to reuse these bottles.

Plastic water bottles are specifically designed for single-use and therefore, reusing plastic water bottles has been shown to encourage bacteria growth and chemical leaching which is dangerous.

Assessing everything from extracting the raw materials (to make the bottles) to manufacturing, distribution, transport, usage, and disposal, it is obvious that table water is dangerous.

Travelling is fun! But, for so many people, travelling is a big turn off because they suffer from what is popularly known as motion sickness.

Motion sickness is annoying, messy, and terribly inconvenient. They prevent people from enjoying a rollercoaster, short or long trips etc. Motion sickness makes some people hate travelling completely, while some people manage to beat this limitation.

While there's no way to be cured of it, there are ways to prevent it. Knowing you won't throw up on your next trip is key to surviving motion sickness but understanding why motion sickness happens is the door to preventing it.

Why motion sickness happens

Niket Sonpal, MD, a New York city-based gastroenterologist and internist who suffers from motion sickness, says:

"The inner ear is responsible for our ability to stay balanced, what happens is that repetitive movements disturb the inner ear, and then it gets tricked into thinking we're moving a lot. The fluid and what we call the ossicles in the ear start getting thrown off, and then the feedback from that turns into symptoms of dizziness and nausea".

How to prevent motion sickness, according to a gastroenterologist

Listen to music: Of course, when you put on your headphones and start playing music on your mobile device, you can avoid talkative travellers and their meaningless discussions too. But, do you know it is one of the healthiest things to do?

If you are suffering from motion sickness, music helps in diverting your mind. When your mind gets distracted in a pleasant way, your uneasiness can be minimised.

Choose a window seat or sit up front: If you're taking a bus, plane, or train, sit in the window seat. If you are in a car, the passenger's seat is the best place to sit.

Drink lots of water: Drinking enough fluids will keep you from feeling sick.

Don't eat foods that upset your stomach: Stay away from certain foods that will unsettle your stomach. The food you eat before a trip can compound the issue.

Despite the fact that cotton grows in 26 of Nigeria's 36 states and West Africa is the fifth-largest producing region globally, the Nigeria textile industry is still going down every day owing to challenges of huge appetite for importation, which has resulted to poor patronage of locally made fabrics.
The Central Bank of Nigeria said it provided cotton producers with more than $300 million in loans in recent years to support the domestic textile industry. Last year, it was reported that Nigeria produces excess cotton. Despite this report, so many companies rely on the importation of cotton and textile from abroad.

There are reports that some people export raw cotton from Nigeria to other countries like China, and then import it back to the country at a higher rate.

For example, the people who had invested their hard-earned money into African prints like Ankara have little returns as they now import directly from China with made-in-Nigeria labels. These imported materials come at an extra cost which had resulted to an increase in price. Hence, a reduction in demand (so many people are not willing to pay too much for Ankara).

Also, the procurement of school uniforms from abroad by many private schools continues to undermine the growth of the textile sector.

Despite the ban of imported finished textiles to protect local manufacturers and designers, having cost the economy at least $4 billion yearly, Data from the National Bureau of Statistics confirmed that Nigeria's importation of textile materials has been on the rise, with the country recording N200.6 billion worth of goods at the third quarter of 2020.

For those who intend to invest heavily this year, I will advise that you stay away from the textile industry, especially the production of locally made textiles.

I strongly believe that you cannot do life alone. This is why we need friends right? But, there is no reason why you should hold on to friendships that make us feel miserable.

Do not lie to yourself, you keep a lot of friends that make your life harder than it should be. I mean, life is beautiful, but most of the times, it is hard. If a friend cannot make life good for you or help you get out of a bad feeling, then why keep them?

If you've known someone since childhood, or simply for a long time, there can be feelings of loyalty and nostalgia keeping you there, even if that friend is no longer good for you. I accused you earlier that you keep a lot of friends that are not good for your mental health, our finances, development, goal and aspirations, behaviour etc. I am right abi?

You see, these friends (people) I mentioned (above) are not bad people, they are not just the right people you should keep in your life as a friend. Yes, at some point in life they were all you had around as church-mates, age-mates, school-mates, class-mates, course-mates etc. But you've changed, they've changed. So things have to change.

Your Happiness Is Important

If you have a friendship that developed during a difficult time in your life, there can be some trauma bonding happening there, especially if the friendship doesn't have a stable or healthy foundation. Let it go

You Need The Truth To Grow

If your parents are your friend, there is a high chance of living a successful life. This is because your parents will never hesitate to tell you the truth. This is very important in choosing a friend or staying in a friendship.

It's good to have a friend who can say "Hey, that's not a good idea" instead of a friend who will not tell you to your face that you are about to make a mistake, but finds it easy to tell other people of how you plan to do something that will fail.

Gossipers Will Gossip You To Others

Productive conversations are very important in a friendship. Okay, I must admit that you cannot shut gossip from happening. I gossip. You gossip. We are all guilty (winks) but, is that all you do?

If this particular person comes to you to gossip others every time, trust me, the person is gossiping you to others.

Spending more time talking about the lives of other people, negatively, rather than focusing on your own personal growth and development as an individual is not good for your development. You need to let that friendship go today!

Zero Business Support

I will not spend too much time on this one.

We all have friends who find it easy to share videos of celebrities they do not know but finds it extremely difficult to help you share your business. My statement is not a question, I know you have these people as friends because I have a lot of them too.

Let them go!

Hold on, there is a big difference between shutting people out of your life and walking out of a friendship. In an article I wrote last month titled Life Lessons Learned In My 30's That I Wish I Know Earlier I said: You Don't Have To Cut People Off, Just Define Your Friendship. I further explained my point with these words: Everyone you see have their own usefulness no matter how little. So, do not cut people off because you think you are bigger, smarter, or better than them. That is so dumb.

No matter how independent you want to believe you are, at some point in your life, you depended on someone to reach the next level in life. Be they family members, friends or mentors. You can point to tangible or intangible things you achieved with their help.

I always think of myself as an independent young man, despite these thoughts, I can confidently say and point to some people that helped me at different stages of my life. I know you can point to a few too.

In my life, I've been lucky enough to have been helped by strangers who showcase their humanity by overcoming their own dislike of me (People mistake my personality for pride).

These people helped me make my way into who I am today - even continuing to do so know.

In the same vein, there are a lot of others who let me down. The ones that I turned to at my lowest ebb only for them to turn away and ignore. Some even lay a huge red carpet over a pit pretending to help but pulled the rug from under me. It is even more painful if the person is a relative, a very close friend, a pastor, or your partner.

It's fair to say that those who walked away also have a major impact on my life. It's never been a pleasant experience, it is a pain I had to live with but, the pain I endured made me a better person.

If you are currently going through this pain, particularly at this time of year, I am sorry that you have been let down in this way but you need to be grateful that it happened.

I am grateful to everyone who said no to me when I needed help. I believe if they had not turned me down, I wouldn't have searched for the answers in the right places.

I strongly believe that when someone we depend on lets us down, it allows us to work on our ability to help ourselves out of that situation or mentality. I believe this because I have experienced it.

One of the best ways of dealing with the people who thought you will not make it in life is to be grateful to them for helping you unlock the inner potentials that you didn't know you had.

We can be thankful to those who don't deserve our thanks.

Watermelon is one of the most common fruits in Nigeria.

As far as fruits go, watermelon is one of the lowest in calories. It contains only 46 calories per cup but is high in vitamin C, vitamin A and many healthy plant compounds.

As common as watermelon is, so many people (especially in Lagos) hardly eats it as a fruit or fruit juice.

In a 2020 research work shared by Sade Tola (Nigerian Tribune), the writer describes Watermelon as an unusual fruit source of the lycopene and an excellent source of water.

Drinking water is an important way to keep your body hydrated.

However, eating foods that have high water content can also help. Interestingly, watermelon is 92% water.

The writer also mentioned that watermelon contains unusual amounts of amino acids and citrulline. Watermelon is also an excellent source of immune-supportive vitamin C and vitamin A (9.0 mg), potassium (11.2 mg) and magnesium (10.2 mg).

Watermelon intake helps in regulating blood pressure regulation, remediate metabolic complications that come with junk foods and many more.

A plethora of evidence shows that it can be effective for weight loss because of its fewer quantities of fats. As a result, the consumption of watermelon provides long-term health benefits such as the reduced risk of heart disease, improved blood pressure in hypertension patients and decrease low-density lipoprotein (LDL) oxidation.

Researchers have studied lycopene and other individual plant compounds in watermelon for their anti-cancer effects.

Though lycopene intake is associated with a lower risk of some types of cancer, study results are mixed. The strongest link so far seems to be between lycopene and cancers of the digestive system.

It appears to reduce cancer risk by lowering insulin-like growth factor (IGF), a protein involved in cell division. High IGF levels are linked to cancer.

Heart disease is the number one cause of death worldwide. Watermelon contains citrulline, an amino acid that may increase nitric oxide levels in the body. Nitric oxide helps your blood vessels expand, which lowers blood pressure.

Watermelon is a surprisingly healthy fruit. It has high water content and also delivers many other important nutrients, including lycopene and vitamin C.

We live in a new world. A world where a simple thing like a tweet or a comment can change or destroy your life. So many people focus on the negativity that comes with social media, you might not believe this, but in this present age and time, some people still avoid social media, some claimed social media is a waste of time while others say it is a threat to their security.

For Shanee Moret, her mobile phone, social media influence and her ability to think outside the box helped her secure her first job without the years of experience needed for the role.

She shared her story in a LinkedIn post. I hope her story will inspire you.

"I just graduated. I need a job. But I needed 2-3 years of work experience to get an entry-level job. It was so frustrating!

I didn't complain, I focused on what I had. Writing skills. A degree. A cellphone. And I knew who was hiring.

Here's what I did next...

I picked the company I wanted to work for. I did research. I called them. I told them I wanted to feature them in an article for the college.

They were open to it. We scheduled a time where I could interview the manager.

I dressed in a suit. I brought my resume and a notepad. I had a list of questions prepared.

I walked in 15 minutes early, shook her hand firmly, smiled and began the interview.

Throughout the interview, I asked questions about the company. The culture. Her vision.

I asked about student opportunity. Once the interview was over she asked if I had graduated and what my plans for work were.

"I'm currently looking."

I thought she wanted my resume so I reached in the folder and grabbed it to give to her.

But she stopped me.

"No need. You showed all the skills we are looking for. Can you start on Monday?"

That's how I got my first job.

You don't need permission to gain experience and you don't need a job to start building skills.

The Vice-Chancellor, University of Lagos, Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, at the inauguration of the renovated Human Resource Development Centre building and meeting rooms donated to the University of Lagos Business School by the Chairman, Platform Capital, Dr Akintoye Akindele announced that the university has adopted online teaching in its bid to resume academic activities.

The statement brought a level of relief, other institutions (especially private universities) has since adopted various teaching online strategies in their bid to continue with academic activities despite the lockdown.

The statement which was supposed to answer questions raised more questions.

A Punch Newspaper published news titled "UNILAG adopts online teaching, to resume academic activities" quoted the VC to have said,

“I want our students to know that it may be a bit difficult for us to bring all of them back to campus now. This is because they are more vulnerable to COVID-19. So we are going to do online teaching and we want to assure them that we will put them into consideration.
“Management has met on that. At a particular point, we are going to put them into consideration, in such a way that they will not need to buy the data. They will only buy the data when the lectures are going on.”

From the quote, it is clear that the school is trying her best to consider the financial implication of receiving lectures online. But the solution the VC and the Management is considering makes me ask this question "can a student participate in an online class without data?"

I don't think it is possible. Even if the lectures are pre-recorded and uploaded or sent via email, you still need the internet to download the videos.

I was thrown into further confusion when I read this,

"...we are going to put them into consideration, in such a way that they will not need to buy the data. They will only buy the data when the lectures are going on.”

This is not clear to me. I dont know if I'm the only one confused here. I mean, the VC was quoted to have said students will not need to buy the data but they will only buy the data when the lectures are going on. This statement brings more questions than answers. If I am a student at the University of Lagos, I will not know what to think right now.

In his statement, the VC assured students that resumption of academic activities in the institution would be considered as soon as possible, adding that they would be given free access to the internet during the examination.

Multi-talented Nigerian musician, DoTTi sings about social distancing and it's important in fighting the spread of coronavirus.

The Jolly Christmas crooner explained the motivation and story behind the song. He said;

Realizing that this COVID-19 Pandemic was more serious than I thought it was, I became very scared. My fear came from the knowledge of how it blocks airflow through the throat. The first thing that came to my mind was ‘my singing career could be over or seriously affected if i contracted the virus’. I sure took the social distancing and Stay at home thing very seriously. I became too careful but the news and updates were really messing with my mind. It took meditation, making and listening to music and Compiling Songs in Isolation to help me get over the fear of losing my voice.
Songs in Isolation is a compilation of stories based on my experiences during this period of lockdown. Of course I couldn’t cross all the T’s but I put in enough work to make this worth listening to and putting on repeat. I also have put this project up for free streaming and downloads only. Three days ago, BBC reported the first COVID-19 recovery case in Ghana, the news has brought a big relief to the whole country and a sign that the Ghana Medical Association (GMA) have the capacity and manpower to fight the deadly disease that has brought the world to a stop.

To support the health workers who are the front line in the battle against Coronavirus, Allianz Ghana through their LinkedIn page announced a one year free Life Insurance cover for 112 doctors and 620 nurses who are the staff of 37 Military Hospital, Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital and Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.

The Chief Executive Officer of Allianz Life Ghana, Gideon Ataraire presented the policy documents to the hospital. The cover is believed to be a total of GHS8.44 million.

The 2020 coronavirus pandemic in Ghana is an ongoing viral pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), a novel infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The first two cases of COVID-19 in Ghana during the 2019–20 worldwide pandemic was confirmed on 12 March 2020, when two people returned from Norway and Turkey.

According to GhanaHealthService official website, a total of 2,519 persons have been tested for COVID-19 in Ghana. Among the tested, 1,276 (50.7%) were persons under mandatory quarantine with 1,243 (49.3%) from routine surveillance activities. Among all 2,519 persons tested, one hundred and forty-one (141) tested positive representing 5.6%.

If you have a father that was there for you when you needed him most (growing up), count yourself lucky! Some fathers are never home, some keep their love locked away, and some are abusive.

Great dads help to raise great children. From bedtime storyteller to working tirelessly in ensuring that the family gets the best things in life. The truth is, most men want to be good fathers, but some need help getting there. Many face barriers such as unemployment, lack of a positive parenting role model, or legal issues.
