Honestly, a pop up camera is arguably the best option available but it's very underrated. If the tech for it is improved upon. It'd really mean a lot. It's much better for privacy reasons and being able to only use the sensor when you need it. It's no news that some apps with permission to access your camera can easily spy on you without your comment as long as they're running in the background. I don't even want to think about the under display camera. That's just borderline infringement. And the water-drop notch is the least obstructive amongst them all...

you have a good point, but to chip in my opinion, I still maintain that despite that they've achieved this big feat, there are still some regions that they have not fully established dominance yet e.g Sub Saharan Africa, and that's where brands like Transsion comes in to play.
