Politics › Re: Ngige Flag Off Campaign Speech (review And Video) by Theben(m): 8:56pm On Oct 08, 2013
Ngige's manifesto was rubbish. He seems to lack intelligence and charisma. He doesn't even know what to do to ensure jobs are created in his state. I'm not gonna vote for any of the anambra govt aspirants. They are all worthless.

Hezron Lorraine: That list is incomplete with a Nigerian.Nairalanders won't accept that.Kenyatta I disagree.
No Nigerian leader deserves to be on that list.
Not to start a fight but Nigerians say they do not like Ghanaians so why will there be a fight about women when you do not like them?

I hear all the time on Nairaland you do not like Ghanaian and South African women yet i think these are the two groups of women apart from your own women that you mix with.
This should be enough reason why you shouldn't take whatever you read here serious.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Nairalanders In Ghana, V.I.P Lounge by Theben(m): 7:19pm On Oct 07, 2013
Okay so at least we know one aspect is the women. But i don't see why this should be a fight. Everyone can date who they want or are those men taking away other men girlfriends
Don't underate a Nigerian guy o. A nigerian guy however ugly knows how to sweet-mouth a woman out of her husbands house. Our men are bad grin grin

Slicqy prizzy: Yes, this is so true.
When I first joined nairaland, I used to believe all these insults Nigerians throw at Ghanaians and vice versa.

Can you believe that I used to take some of these insults personal?!
I even joined sometimes.
I thought that those insults and all the hatred was genuine.
But, after spending sometime on nairaland, i've realised that some people do it just for fun, and they will not throw insults at each other, if they are to meet in person
Petrodolla does not share your sentiment. He would not mind chopping off the head of every Nigerian he sees.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Nairalanders In Ghana, V.I.P Lounge by Theben(m): 6:18pm On Oct 07, 2013
Yes very true but see how you guys get along when dissing Ghana. I think that is a peacemaking tool lol
Once there is no country to diss, we revert to yoruba and igbo rivalry. Sometimes the yorubas and igbos throw insults at the hausas when the issue of boko haram comes up. Meanwhile we get along all the time offline.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Nairalanders In Ghana, V.I.P Lounge by Theben(m): 6:06pm On Oct 07, 2013
But now i know not to take everything that is said here to heart just like you guys should not. Obviously there will be ppl who genuinely hate Ghanaians, just like am sure there are Ghanaians who generally hate Nigerians.

I think the old generation played a role and it's up to us as a new generation not to pass this dislike
Go to politics section and see how the yorubas and igbos hurl insults at each other. Someone who has no idea would think they hate each other. Though there are some here who hate people from other tribes. The number is negligible.

PetroDolla: Well, it has to be this way isn't it? It's kinda of funny but I seriously think I have done no wrong. I am very happy with what I do here and have absoiluetly no regrets. You know why? I find it completely absurd that some people or indeed an individual will, without provocation, luanch needless insults on a country and its people. and yet when someone like me reacts, I am seen as the trouble maker. I find that particularly absurd. People are getting with nonsense in the African setting because we are often too quick to intervene. when people misbehave, they should get punished. in my ipion, that is the only way to ensure discipline and fairness. when people know they will get punished when they misbehave, they will watch what they do, trust me.

I will never insult anyone, because I was well-brought. But I social and professional background also drives me to punish those I perceive as law breakers. that is the bottom line. You may ask, why the insults? well, don't ask me. ask whoever provoked me in the first place!

Guys, I have a lot to talk about, but I suggest you wait for my book. I just finished chapter 3. you all will be amazed! I got a great story to tell. so why should I give a fvck? chei, fuckeduppedness
Dude, insulting people online does not ensure discipline. It only shows how immature you are. There is no way you can prevent getting your country insulted. Even the United State gets insults from people in relatively smaller country.

It might be painful seeing people make derogatory remarks about your country, reacting with insult would never change people's opinion about it.

Why do you think the jibes started immediately you made comment on this thread? Isn't it obvious that your reply is getting some people entertained? If you had ignored and let go, i'm sure we would have started enjoying amazing pictures and knowledge about the people and places in Ghana.
