Choi! Misplaced Priority. No prize to encourage young talents, Neither is there any to encourage students to study harder in Abia.

So na Virginity come win am abi? I'm highly appalled by the mentality of our leaders.

If Moses is going to play, there should not be any course for alarm otherwise, I'll so root for Bourkina Faso. Nigerian team is Average without Victor Moses

Sagamite: What makes Benni McCarthy greater than Okocha?
Benni McCarthy won the AFCON with the south African team as a key player if not even the best player in that team. He also played a key role in FC porto champions league victory.

Okocha on the other hand who was part of the team that won the AFCON in 1994 was a mere bench warmer in that tournament.

Sagamite: Let me just focus on one. This is a joke right? grin grin grin grin grin
He's actually right. He was a key player for FC Porto during the period they won the Champions league. I'll rate him ahead of Okocha any day
Sports › Re: Sagamite's Top 30 Greatest African Footballers Of All Time by Theben(m):
dayokanu: I think Mboma should be close to Yekini in the ranking

Kanu in top 10 and Okocha below 25
I'm sorry, but I think Okocha has no place in that list. He should occupy #32 position. Everyone knows that Okocha was never a serious footballer.

No doubt, he's the most entertaining african footballer. He had a way of buying the heart of Nigerians. He knew how to earn praises from the gullible Nigerians even when the Super Eagles lose. It baffles me to see that some people here are comparing Okocha with Essien. Them nor be mate. Nigerians should bone sentiment jare.

During the period when Nigeria produced the best African Team, Okocha was mostly a spectator. He never had a meaningful contribution to the success of Super Eagles in 1994
Romance › Re: My Fiance Gets Angry Easily. Its Starting To Get Me Worried. by Theben(m): 8:08pm On Jan 27, 2013
You've given him the chance to behave as such. He keeps behaving this way just because he knows you will always apologize. What you told him does not warrant someone getting angry for crying out loud.

Learn to always ignore him whenever he acts anger. Learn not to always appear weak in front of him. He won't respect you if you keep apologizing this way.

Trust me, if you keep begging him, it will get to a stage where you will to always apologize to him even when he is wrong.

safarigirl: F9.

If you insert the words 'and', 'but' 'unless' and 'if', that makes two sentences. I believe the topic is 'In One Sentence'
you're the one who's wrong. The addition of 'and', 'but' makes it a compound sentence. Stop forming ITK.

Sweetlemon: As for you too. I will also leave you to your ansectors which you so disregarded just because you wanted to give advice on something that concerns you so much that it guarantees your next meal.
Pls don't be surprised if strange things start happening to you.
And to anyone else wants to dare the power of what I have said here, I have the same to say to you. Since advicing sweetlemon guarantees your next meal, go ahead.
This is the last I will say to you.
He who has ears let him hear.
With this statement, you've lost the respect I had for you. Like seriously, do people still make such threat? Ahn ahn, if you really don't need people to advise you, it would have been better not to open a thread on the ish.

So you expected everyone on this forum to congratulate your supposed introduction? Anyway, if you're tired of the comments, you may request the closure of this thread from the moderator. I believe, it will be granted.

I have come to notice that you do not follow protocol when making decisions. Whatever happened to the word courtsy? You ought to always seek permission from the mods before making decision on any of the section.

It is good you realized you've made mistake, and sent apology however flabby.

Romance › Re: Am Confused Guys!!!! What Should I Do? by Theben(m): 10:12pm On Dec 24, 2012
7 billion people on the planet, there are more females than male which means more that 3.5 billion females and you fell in love with her?

Dude falling in love might not be a choice as most times we find ourselves there but staying in love is up to us. You can decide that you both cannot be together and walk away instead of starting a chain of events that might not be satisfatory to anyone
The 2006 census showed that there are more males than females in Nigeria. The reason isn't farfetched. Females are more subjected to ritual killings, some females are lost after r:ape, some die as a result of their subjection to physical abuse and due to poor health facilties in Naija, there is also an escalated rate of maternal maternity. That said, there is still a large number of female to choose from.

@op, you mentioned in your post that you have some female admirers, that alone has made everything easy for you. Go for one of these admirers, use her as a buffer till you recover completely from the crush you described above. Obviously, what you feel for that girl isn't love.

The advice from k2039 is also spot on. Look for things that would discourage you from thinking about her. Develop hobbies like playing chess, reading (not romantic novels o, cos it would just aggravate your wahala) and even writing. Hang-out with friends especially the females. With time, what you feel now would be history. Pele, i've been there before too grin
