Answer my question if you can. You are invited the controversial one
I'm not interested in engaging in a religious debate, least so with a JW. Shouldn't have bothered entering this thread sef cuz it's pointless. The way you kept dodging questions is what drew me in. If I begin saying things that your governing body (shey that's what they are called) have done, are doing and are trying to cover up, it could end up wrecking your faith in anything religious which makes me no worse than the devil. Conversely, you may as well choose to ignore anything I say and keep on going in your ignorance believing everything you're told by them, which still isn't better, hence the reason I said, it's pointless.
This is my advice for you though and all your jw people, if you really love the truth as you claim and one day you hear or see something about your church that is wrong and undeniably true, don't deny it, don't hide it, and most certainly don't ostracize the person who revealed it to you.
And should you in the future see something about your church that you feel is wrong, don't pretend that there's no problem with it. Ask questions and if your people seemingly turn against you because of it, then know from that moment that there's something wrong with your church.

you are just a busy body, were is my lie here i was only been honest, if i wanted to scam any body will i tell the truth about her been discharged? Or will i post the reciept of the part payments made?, th reason for moving her was for her to be closer to her people. I was still appealing for help cuz her treatment was not done the bp drugs she takes cost 13000 naira my pocket is drained so i just need a little financial assistance.
You could be real, you could also be a scammer, that's still uncertain. But what's certain is I'm not giving you a dime.

It's not just Turkey or Nigeria, Christianity is dying up in most parts of the world. The hypocrisy and false teachings arising from Churches is killing the interest of present youths today. There'll be very few persons left reading Bibles soon.

Obviously you've already "paid for the hospital bills" hence the reason why your mom was discharged and is in Anambra right now as you wanted. So what do you still need help for again? Continue with the lies.

Ferisidowu:
this thread would be better without blasphemies from the ignorant....... the ones reputed as sons of God there were humans and not angels..... they were descendants of Seth and it's somewhat of an antitype of modern Christianity ........

now angels are not flesh .....but verse 3 shows that those reputed as sons of God were men ... because it says""" Then the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not abide in man forever, for he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.”""”

though it seemed as if God expected more from descendants of Seth cause they were the ones known or reputed as sons cause of their faith in a coming Messiah prophesied in which Abel was the first martyr...

Can you explain then who Jude verses 6 and 7 is referring to:

And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling —these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day. In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire. KJV

Also, if the sons of God were indeed humans as you say, why were their offspring from the women of unnatural size and strength?
As an aside see Job 1:6 on reference to sons of God

of course, end the conversation and run away. You said it's mandatory for a JW to get the card and yet you say a witness is not forced. It's like saying as a student, it's mandatory you pay school fees but you're not forced. Does that make sense? The fact that the school cannot forcefully collect the school fees doesn't mean it's not compulsory.

I should listen to them when I have asked almost 4 of you questions and you all run away? That's the difference between you and I. You've been taught to hate the world and the things in it, to the point that having a normal argument has made you think I hate you and your members. Do better please.
Dearie leave them that's how they behave. Arguing with them is like pouring water on rock, it won't sink in. They are so blinded by their beliefs they will swallow whatever their leaders tell them. That's how they believed the world would end in 1975, many of them sold their houses. Show them things their leaders are covering up about their church and they will run away and avoid you like a plague instead of finding out if it's true. Very ignorant set of people.

stop saying shit. D card is given so that it can rep what u say during that time of crisis as it won't be easy to start arguing with d doc or d person might be in a state of coma DT card would speak for d person. Besides u are not forced to own d card but it is mandatory to own it. Jw views blood transfusion as wrong and if u are a jw u def goia own DT card cos u are convince that blood transfusion is wrong
You're contradicting yourself and that's the main problem with your church from all I know and what I've read so far. See the definition of mandatory and now read the bolded text from your comment. How does what you said make sense?

i have been a member of this forum since 2009 i had to create another moniker to do this.
last week sunday my aunty got a call from a good samaritan telling her about how my mum collapsed on the road, my aunty called me immediately informing me about what happend quikly i put a call accross to one of her neighbors describing the area she collapsed to them.

they found her took her to the hospital and it
turned out to be severe headache that caused her collapse. The doctors attended her and she revived a bit we even spoke on the phone and she said she was getting better.
but two days ago the whole thing took a turn for the worse when i got a call from her neighbor daughter that her illness has now developed into stroke and one part of her body is paralized she no longer see's clearly and cannot eat.

right now i have spent the little i have, i graduated in 2015 but i still have some debt to settle in school before i go for nysc.

i want to move my mum from portharcourt to anambra state where her family resides so she will be properly looked after but the doctors wont release her unless we pay the remaining bill of about 90 thousand naira. please nairalanders i will appreciate if u guys can help me in this situation as i have run out of funds to handle this issue.

Religion / How Were Angels Able To Father Children With Women? by TheControversy: 4:07pm On Oct 30, 2017
The account of Genesis 6:1-4 records one of the numerous odd stories that can be found in the Bible's Old Testament. It details the story of the Sons of God (the Angels) who took notice of the daughters of men and bore unnatural children (the Nephilims) through them. The full account reads:

"And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown."(KJV)

The bizarre nature of this story lies not just in the fact that the angels developed lustful desires for women, but that they also were able to bear children through these women whom they took as wives. This is strange since as is believed, God made the angels as spirits who have no flesh and therefore no fleshly desires which naturally follows. If Genesis 6:1-4 is to be held as fact, the following questions understandably arise:
1. How were the angels able to "have sex and bear children" since God only blessed Humans and all living creatures on earth with the ability to procreate? (Genesis 1:28)
2. Since God made the angels and bestowed on them the powers they possess including the power to take human form (Genesis 18:1-8, 19:1-11, 32:24-30, Hebrews 13:2) do they also possess the ability to reproduce?
3. If your answer to the second question is NO, then who are the sons of God in Genesis 6:1-4 and why did they bear children of unnatural size and strength.
If your answer is YES, then why did God give angels the power of Sexual reproduction?

Theists, please comment.
