One of the most useless governor in the history of the state.Zero development. Olodo bridge is close to two years, now rain is coming again. The road he claimed to have completed are very poor quality. Thousands rendered homeless due to one useless circular road at Ajia. The same thing plays out at Moniya. Ajimobi who originally started the road gave a setback of 75m. Makinde came and increase the setback to 600m rendering many homeless. The idiot sold all recreational centres like trans amusement pack to allies whom he called developer to make money. How many jobs were created. What is the condition of virtually all health centers refurbished by Ajimobi administration, plus the hospital he built to decentralise Adeoyo which the idiot turned to Covid centre. Seyi is a mediocre and only people outside Ibadan could praise him, I mean those living outside the state.
God bless u. Bro

U r the ignorant here. Go and learn measurements. 500m is beyond what any can use to display goods. It is stealing by trick. Try harder to defend Seyi callous act

If you want to check and be enlightened about the massive projects of GSM, just check his Facebook page or check oyo state government feedback on factor Twitter page. You will be more enlightened and not living in your ignorance here. I know that you are APC apologist.
Which truth are u talking about. I don't need to check Facebook or X on this matter I av first hand info.
This is not a party issue,it's about cheating and grabbing people's land without compensation.
Just tell me the 500m acquaintion on each side of the road is a propaganda and I will show u a fool.
Do u even know tape,do u know the distance of 100m,av u ever heard of 50m setback not to talk of 500m. Let us condemn an atrocity and let go of politics. Seyi is a land grabber it's as simple as that. U said people will be compensated after their houses av been demolished, tell me why they were not paid before turning their sweat into rubbles without even considering the current hardship or cement price. Guy go back to ur employer and ask them for more detail about the circular road corridor. U r doing a shabby job here

have they protest this month niii Abi last month . Stop displaying your ignorance and propaganda here. What you are saying here is just clueless lies here. GSM government have settled all the lands and buildings that was affected with the ongoing projects in Circular Road axis. I have been saying it online here, you can access these pictures on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. All the pictures are there. And that’s where I lifts it from to nairaland. I’m not collecting any funds from anyone. I just appreciate great service here and I love it to promote their works in government. By 2027, GSM will leave the government and we will see what his successor will do in government.
They protested not only this month but also yest in the presence of soludo. Seyi is not talking about settlement his only excuse was Ajimobi changed the 75m plan made by Alh Rasheed Ladoja.
Just imagine, I'm giving u the first hand information but u choose to rely on what u see on social media.Guy wise up.

you are just blowing much lies and propaganda here. What you said here is blunt lies and propaganda here. I could remember when GSM was constructing Akala expressway road then, there’s nothing you won’t heard from the south sayers then. Today that road projects have been commissioned and put to used. By the middle or end of 2024, the first phase of circular road will have completed. 60% of the contract sum have been paid to the contractors already.
I don't know how much u were paid for this publication but a fact is a fact. Seyi is forcefully taking people's land and demolishing houses that are 150m meters away from a narrow road he is constructing.
Imagine a governor demolishing properties that are far away from road in this hardship period when other gov are looking for a way to provide palative for their people. Seyi is heartless

not true, go and ask the meters of setbacks here. Besides, there’s ministry of lands and housing including ministry of works that you can ask and be enlightened too. Their offices are in the State secretariat in AGODI
I'm giving u the fact. Commissioner has addressed the issue, he said there is no going back but they are starting with 150m on each side. Same thing with people from ministry of land, housing and urban development. Do ur finding pls. Imagine the number of houses and people that will be displaced with 1000m along 32km. Seyi Makinde should not send Ona ara and oluyole people to IDP camp

not true here. Governor Seyi Makinde has settled all the houses that were affected. Ask the people around. Please don’t display your ignorance here oooo.
It is a lie. Former Gov Rashidi Ladoja paid compensation for 150m. Now Seyi is expanding it to 1000m from 150m.
People protested there yest, he saw them and could not say he has settle anyone.
What is.je.planning to do with 1000m along 32km road without considering the existing structures. Seyi is a land grabber and criminal

Gov Seyi is demolishing people's houses and grabbing people's land to sell for his cronies. Seyi is a criminal, callous, insensitive, land grabber.
That road was designed by former Gov Rashidi Ladoja and it was just 150m wide, now Seyi is expanding it to about 1000m at the expense of structures along the narrow road.
Seyi Makinde should build a massive IDP camp that can accommodate the people of Ona Ara and oluyole local govt area of Oyo state

Seyi Makinde is constructing that road for his personal gain, he want to become the number one landlord in Ibadan
He should come out and tell us where they have constructed road with 500m setback.
A whole 1000m/1km on both side of the road, for what exactly. He is now demolishing people's house without making compensation.

Business / Re: What exactly Is The Benefit Of Floating The Naira? by thedio(m): 10:34am On Feb 14
Jessyjeff:
Please, just say APC mismanaged the Naira by over borrowing and floating of the currency.

When Obasanjo took over in 1999, Nigeria had around 3 billion dollars in foreign reserve. Nigeria was still then heavily dependent on importation; he didn't float Naira, and he didn't stop subsidy on petrol, diesel and Kerosene.

Yet, Nigeria's inflation rate was under 15% and food was affordable too. He assembled able hands who were able to grow the economy and pay Nigeria's debts or negotiate some debt forgiveness.

Why did everything about Nigeria's economy start deteriorating rapidly immediately APC took over government in 2015? APC has no clue about economic management, especially on federal level.
What is the pupulation of Nigeria in 1999. How Many ppl were buying new cars,TV and other gadgets.
Think about the numbers of political office holder we av had since 1999 from minister to senator, honourable, commissioner to local govt and tell me how many of them r using ordinary local furniture. Our taste for imported things is outrageous and this is putting enormous pressure on forex
