I have applied. I have all the qualifications except for the age of course. But I am trying it out....enough of this rubbish age limits. Sometimes its possible they do it to scare applicants away thereby reducing the number drastically. Highest they won't call me.....but then again you never know. |

Chairman, you don't seem to understand. The questions don't have to be exactly the same, but by and large they are the same sort of questions. Of course quite a number of persons must have answered the exact type of questions only they won't know that. Its the same thing the happens with other aptitude tests. Dragnet is notorious for this. The only difference here is that, apart from the 15min hurdle everyone is faced with....which is sort of normal with these things, there isn't any apparent supervision. You can do whatever you like, simple. I am quite certain that a number of persons here with very high scores had help. If you have done that yourself, that's for you to be proud of. The point is that the company isn't dumb, they KNOW people will cut corners. So you can't judge. |
You guys need to relax. The thread is even supercharged. No one should try and discourage anybody. If you are yet yo write the test, go and take the test. It isn't quantum mechanics. Neither is it really simple. A company that gives the same questions to everyone for a 3day time period knows what its doing. Whatever criterion they are going to use, just hope and pray you get selected. Anything can happen. You don't know what they are looking at. Someone who scored a 100% in 10min may not be selected and someone who scored 60 in 14min may be selected. Just do your best and hope for the best. Godspeed to everyone. |
VinccyBoy:You are sort of right. The essay where they asked for strengths and weakness...... They changed the word count and many people fell for the trick. But where I differ with you is its quite possible they may not conduct a standard interview. Considering the training programme is still a form of assessment and not everyone will be picked going by their words and reconfirmed by @Aquiredorllars. But if what Aquiredorllars sez is true then there isn't need to worry. Many will make it. Evidently they are expanding and will still post people around the country so there is hope. I am willing to believe that people with 60% will make it. Everyone just keep your face to the sun and believe. |
Got the text late last night. Completed the test few moments later. English, Maths(even though I nor dey maths side) standard questions. I applied two days ago. I can't find something concrete about the institution online yet sha. Anyone with useful information should throw more light on the company. |
John Snow's Mother is Targearean. But cos of Ned Stark's blood in him which is directly from the first men, John Snow has black hair. He won't die though. I am pretty certain of that. |

Wait, the mail sez the test is starting tmao by 8am and you already did it today??. Don't you think there is a reason they underlined the "ALL" in "read all the following instructions carefully?. Well, I sincerely do hope it doesn't count against you bro. |
durandal:Dude, this is slavery and I don't blame whoever tells you to stick this "job" down your throat. I have written for other companies before and start up ones too. Not once did I encounter such a miserable offer. I have even written for a blog owned by an individual who paid weekly-a pretty reasonable sum- that beats this N1 per word thingy of yours in every sphere. Without being immodest, I write pretty well, I wouldn't take up this offer. Your attitude seems sour for someone who wants to "help" with this job offer. Do your homework, there are a lot of writing jobs that pay better than this. Cheers. |
We will appreciate if you can provide relevant information about your friend so we can sort this out immediately. Please forward to contact@pushcv.com Regards. Oh, don't worry....He is viewing this thread this moment. So you will get to hear from him. I personally want to see what will be the explanation this time around. For all those talking about courses and programmes, is Push CV the first to present such programs? There are myriads of online programs on the web of which Push CV even directs people who want to take courses to them. An example is Alison Online Courses. Very good platform. I have personally made use of this website even before push CV made it a link on their site. I do commend Push CV tho for making some inert youths connect to these programs, albeit, it isn't what should rock your boat. Even among the 1% I am yet to see anyone get a job. Yes it isn't magic, yes it isn't automatic...but you would expect that at least someone would even say I was interviewed in so and so company via Push CV. Does it sound reasonable that the second batch of The Elite Quest is on, yet there isn't any meaningful result from the first ? Pls let's be sensible. I don't say push CV is a scam, I have know of them long before half of you here even heard of Push CV. Before they ever came up with this idea of Elite Quest....they were even more effective before then.... at least to a certain degree. But this whole Elite Quest I am sorry sir, is a misfire for me@somtex. You guys didn't plan it out properly before you jet out into orbit now things are drifting. It is an unserious sign for your outfit to say that a CV is too disorganized to be sent to the employer. I mean I just can't reconcile with that. Thank you. |
I have not seen a single soul that has gotten a job through push CV. Its totally irresponsible on their part to get young Nigerian job seekers worked up over nothing. A friend of mine was sent an invite by push CV to ans questions on those their online "interviews". After many days, Push CV replied that "We are sorry, your application has been declined. Reason: Your CV was too disorganized to send to the employers". I burst out laughing when he showed me. It has got to be the most preposterous excuse Push CV has given so far. The same CV their team of 'experts' "approved". The same CV that has fetched this guy countless interviews. People, please forget about Push CV. Its a waste of time and they have no platform for employing anyone. They come across as hustlers. Hustling peesp with job and CV talk. Smh. |
Cos the system makes people take up any job in the name of "employment" and "survival". |
I got it too. Mine the text just said "relationship officer". Still doubt weda I would attend. Not really up for marketing, plus I hear the pay is rotten. |

This has got to be the most incomprehensible, utterly pointless and outlandish post I have ever seen. |
ApexTitan:If you do not understand the plotline behind metal gear.....well.....I don't know what to say. Its straight forward enough. The use of flashbacks and prequels in Metal Gear Part's like "Metal Gear Rising" "Metal Gear Snake Eater" or "Phantom Pain" makes it all the more interesting. Metal Gear story in virtually all the games is usually centered on a Special Forces Agent(Solid Snake, Naked Snake, Raiden) who is sent to investigate a terrorist cell or group that always ends up having a Metal Gear Machine capable of making a Nuclear Strike. In reality, it isnt different-in story line-from any any tactical action movie you have seen. Where it differs is its characters. From Snake to Grey Fox to Psycho Mantis to The End. A Metal Gear Movie on the big screen shouldn't be difficult to render at all. Except of course for wranglings about rights, finding the right actors etc. United Nations won't and can't say squat!!!! Do you know how many movies and novels are out there that logically should have incurred a sanction from the UN Its simply show business. Portions of the movie "The interpreter" with Sean Penn and Charliez Theron were actually filmmed in the UN building. So nothing there. As for Prince of Persia, maybe I should have added "in my opinion". Sure it sold some..... but the movie didn't work for me at all. As for being the best video game adaptation, well I am waiting on the soon to be released "Hitman Reboot". Trailer looks dope. I hope it delivers. |
It would just be another bad adaptation. Even prince of Persia was a poor movie. But still, I would like to see the GOW movie just for the thrill. Jason Momoa, built up with a shaven head and other make up would look the part. I think he could pull off the voice too. Vin diesel isn't a bad choice...but I doubt if he would act the role well. The only video game I would like to see on the big screen is METAL GEAR SOLID. As far as I am concerened there isn't anyone worthy or okay to play the legendary Solid Snake. If it takes Hollywood another 15years to make Metal Gear Saga into a movie.....a good movie. I will wait. Patiently. |
For me, the holy spirit speaks to me(for now) through the word of God. For example, I could be lying down thinking about a particular issue and the voice speaks quietly.... very small deep inside of me. It gives me portions of the bible I have never read or have read but don't recall. Sometimes I burst out laughing cos the verses are always very....and I mean very specific to me at that point. Direct messages. I am sure someone here understands this. Also, I have noticed that the Bible verses are always with double messages. Sometimes I only understand what the Holy Spirit is actually saying after I must have listened to a sermon that always ties into that exact verse. The Spirit knows all things. And its very correct for you to read christian literature on the spirit to understand what the Holy Spirit does. I realized this yesterday as I was studying Kenneth Hagin's "Understanding The Anointing". There are different levels of the anointing. And its important for you to understand what you are asking for . The power of the Holy Spirit can overwhelm a man, incapacitate him flat out if you can't bear it. The spirit did tell me this directly from the Bible. Lastly, I felt the power of the Holy spirit physically upon me just as Kenneth Hagin described it in his book. " like an electric force". It felt like a buzzing..... of electric energy running thru me. But I didn't speak in tongues till now cos I stopped to look at my hands like what is going on. I have a certain gift from the spirit and I know this well. But I can't seem to flow for Tongues. Three men of God have actually told me(one through his book; " Empowered From Above" by George Bloomer) that not everyone who experiences the indwelling of the spirit will actually speak with tongues outright. A woman of God I know said she received the holy spirit and spoke in tongues three years later. I been confused but the Bible is quite clear on this. Just yesterday I was grieved inside me and asked the spirit why can't I flow in tongues. It told me to read the story of the donkey tied down before the disciples came and told the owners the Master hath need of it. I didn't get it. Sometimes it feels like you are conversing with your mind. I said "I don't get it", tied down by what ". The other voice said emphatically "by your FEAR". Working through it already. Sorry for the long post. Just tot this could help someone. |
koice:Well that's right. I have been rooting for John cos I knew everyone would immediately pick Robert. In any event, The Equalizer would "Equalize". LolLol ....as for top tier action heroes. Well Jason Bourne is one heavy hitter. Bryan Mills of "Taken" is also a force to be reckoned with. |
Wick is definitely a capable hitman. Robert looks unbeatable. Guy got all areas covered. But I still think Wick won't be brought down that easy. At most twuld be a draw. ![]() |
crazygod:You guys are right. But just as you pointed out, Macall was made to look flawless. Unbeatable. The plot required it. Why I think it isnt a sr8t out win for Macall is cos John Wick's mission was a personal one. It wasn't a "hit" in the sense of the word, it wasnt planned or engineered, it was simply pure vengeance fueled by rage. Thats why Marcus(Williem Defoe) kept watching over him cos he knew he would loose his cool. Remember what the barmaid at The Continental said to him, she said she had never seen John vulnerable before. Which means the man who took out three men with a pencil ---before what the movie shows us-must be a very formidable hitman. Robert was very successful with his operations cos he was simply doing what Frank Castle does. Punish!!!!!. No emotions attached, no long thing. Just a sense of good to prevail. "Revenge is not a value its an emotional response". PS: You mean Brian Mills from the Taken Movies?.... That guy is quite the operative. Very good. But throw in Agent 47 into the mix and you have a firecracker of a battle. |
I am tempted to agree with you. But John Wick is quite good. Irrespective of his rash nature, considering he was on a personal mission. Look at how he took out that 'wet team' sent to his house immediately he dug out his guns and gold. Remember, Viggo said of him in the movie; John Wick is a man of focus, commitment and determination". |
Both movies are great. Not in the outstanding sphere but great. Both have similar themes, both center around an assassin. If you have seen this movie, who do you think would win a fight(employing all their skill as we see from the movies). Denzel Washington plays Robert Macall in "The Equalizer". A former government special operative who has promised his dead wife to put his past behind. But he gets himself mixed up with the Russian mob in an attempt to right the wrongs.... To Equalize. Robert Macall is a very neat man. Times everything. Pays attention to the minutest detail and is very methodical. He killed four Russian gangsters in 19seconds. He can anticipate what his opponent will do and plots the most efficient way of taking him out. Keanu Reeves plays The titular role of "John Wick". An assassin who was formerly in the employ of the Russian mob. He left his past behind for love and then his wife dies. He goes on a revenge journey when the son of his former boss insults the memory of his dead wife. John Wick is known as "Babayega" in the movie.. Meaning "The Boogeyman". His former Russian boss said of him" I once saw him kill three men in a bar with a pencil". John Wick is fast, rash sometimes, calculative and brutal. For those who have seen both movies, who do you think is the better Operative and who do you think would win in a battle. The Equalizer or John Wick. |
http://whatculture.com/comics/11-heroic-comic-book-characters-powerful-superman.php/2 Guys check this out. These guys could put Superman down. With the exception of one or two maybe. |
sage1000:Naa. Don't have a 'beef' with it. Simply find it ludicrous and annoying that a character with the sort of abilities that superman presents has one of his greatest foes in lex luthor. I only used those sort of characters for my team becos a "fully powered superman without morals" is basically a god. He was created that way. So people like Diana and Shazam with all their power are terribly outmatched by a Superman at the zenith of strength and power. It would take a team of the insanely powerful and bad to beat him. If the OP had said Superman. Regular superman. I would pick Martian Manhunter, Diana and Dr Fate. Or I would pick Thor, Dr Steven Strange and Hulk.....the combinations are almost endless. But if it becomes the Superman of epic power, you need the likes of Sentry, Spectre, Thanos(he wouldnt even need the gauntlet), Silver Surfer, Phoenix, Thor(the Rune king and Odin force version), A very mindless version of Doomsday, Darkseid, Imperix, or an army of over powered Lanterns. P.S: Wraith and He'l aren't that bad. I just think they are some 20years late with them. |
sage1000:Naa Bru, I am not underestimating them @ all. I know what Shazam, Wonder woman and flash can do. I have seen a fight between Superman and Shazam and one between Wonder woman and Superman. And in both battles Superman had to or was a little overboard with his power. He took a beat real good in both battles. But the problem here is that A fully powered Superman(prolly taken a sun dip or whatever) with NO scruples isn't something any hero No matter how powerful can withstand. Flash isn't a power house, he is a speedstar, he wouldn't be much use in a fight like this-except for providing quick thinking maneuver and trapping Superman in the speed force(which will be a miracle). A battle against the sort of superman described by the OP would require a lot of power(Doomsday sort of power and Darkseid sort of Energy...sadly we dealing with heroes.) The Martian Man hunter would have been a good fit, he was actually created to be stronger than superman and better.(find out) but DC didn't want to loose their "poster boy" so they tamed Man hunter down over the years. This is one failing DC has. They always made Superman the very best over the years. A character like him shouldn't even be fighting Darkseid not to talk of pitching him against led Luthor. That's why DC brout in Power houses like "Wraith and"He'l" to challenge him. So in a fight like this. Against such a Superman, I am afraid your team would fall. |
sage1000:Fine team. But they would get beat pretty fast facing "a red kryptoniteinfused-fullypowered-bloodlusted Superman". It would be a slaughter that only flash may get away from. |
dacza:You right about the Sentry and Spectre. I actually wanted to put the Silver Surfer in place of Spectre. I thought of Phoenix and Adam Warlock too. Thanos isnt always a villain. He becomes good or bad based on the given situation at hand. E.g, Thanos' role during the Annihilation Wave and Thanos' battle with Odin. There is always a personal reason for Thanos. He fights for good if it serves him and bad if it serves him. There isn't right or wrong ideals with Thanos. This is why he is more of an anti hero. Even marvel describes him his way. |
Well there have been cross covers between universes DC/Marvel. Plus you didn't state it was DC exclusively... Lol I just need an excuse. So I will choose The Sentry from marvel.......The Spectre from DC and Thanos with the infinity gauntlet from marvel(Thanos is an anti-hero mostly. Not really a Hero neither necessarily a villain. But the character is pretty powerful.) |
I always laugh whenever I see this topic. This word Karma. This is simply what is known as the LAW OF SEEDTIME AND HARVEST. After the flood, when Noah made an offering to GOD, from that day the LAW OF SEEDTIME AND HARVEST has been in effect. God declared specifically that "I will not again curse the ground for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; Neither will I again smite any more every thing living as I have done.[bWhile the earth remaineth, SEED TIME AND HARVEST, cold and heat and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. (Genesis 8:21-22). What it means is that you shall receive the rewards for your actions and works. "Whatsoever a man soeth.....". This law is universal. Whether you believe in God or not. Whether you are a Nihilist, Muslim, Christian, Aethist, Hindu, etc. That verse up there was the day God instituted it. It doesnt mean agriculture or weather in the literal sense. And the law of seedtime and harvest is powerful and transcends generations. "The fathers have eaten sour grapes and the children's teeth are set on edge". This is the reason why some people suffer the consequences of actions carried out centuries ago. God himself said "I will visit the sins of the fathers upon the children, EVEN TO THE THIRD GENERATION" (Take note). So whatever you do, has concequenes, for good or for I'll, no matter who you are cos whatsoever a man soweth that he SHALL reap. |
Yes, the Bible stated in the passages you quoted that not all will be married. Some have been given the grace from above "FOR THE SAKE OF THE GOSPEL" to remain unmarried. However, your reasons for wanting to be unmarried are centred totally on SELF. I can assure you that a decade from now you will weep over this decision cos every reason you have supplied and from the tone of your post, you running from marriage to have a STRESS FREE LIFE AND TO MAKE IT MATERIALLY. That's a delusion. God instituted marriage for a reason. A very important reason that's why its one of the first lines the devil attacks. The devil knows more than you there, cos he is cunning and been around much longer than u. "He who finds a wife finds a good thing AND OBTAINETH FAVOUR FROM THE LORD". I am sure you know where that is in the bible. Do you know that there are certain blessings and open doors you will never get except on the altar of marriage? Bro, if you have been given this grace to run with a vision(especially for gospel sake). By all means carry on. But if you have taken this decision and believing its from your own WILL, to pursue "comfort and peace" in material things I can tell you that this will be the most terrible decision you took. "BY STRENGTH WILL NO MAN PREVAIL". Peace. |
I don't think its an issue of one city being the best over others. Its more of where you find your 'center of balance' in life. For some its Ibadan, some its calabar, others will always take Jos or Abuja. For some its Warri. But I take an exception to Lagos. Its not a place to live in. Apart from the huge economic opportunities, its about the toughest and craziest place to settle and raise a family. Just hustle and go back to less stressful cities. Where ever you find your balance. |
