Cecediva: YOU ARE WRONG

LOUIS VAN GAAL DE GENIUS WON LA LIGA WITH BARCELONA IN HIS FIRST SEASON,SAME WITH BAYERN MUNICH. SO UNITED WON'T BE AN EXCEPTION cheesy
Van Gaal got off to a poor start as Bayern coach, winning only one of his first four matches in charge, and by November the club was on the brink of a first-round Champions League exit following two losses to Bordeaux.
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis_van_Gaal

As I said before. He takes his time to build. Man Its fans should not get excited too much.

oga sit down there. Dey bring history for us. You think i give a fvck about his past? No be vila-boas wey collect double with porto come flop for chelsea? My point is the tide is going in LVG'S favour and he is coming to my club. Put 2 + 2 together and figure out the rest.
Put which 2+2. It took a ROBben dive to knock out Mexico. He is just winning Costa Rica by penalties. The luck is in his favor.

He parked the bus against Chile. Is this present enough. He was sacked by Bayern Munich and Hynckes immediately turned Bayern Munich to a force.

I am saying Man Utd fans should not get carried away. If not heart break will happen. Van Gaal is a genius. I even followed him at AZ when he won the league with them with ARI but should not be overrated.

Tim Krul recorded no fewer than 14 saves against Spurs in November 2013, the best tally by a Premier League stopper in one outing for seven years.

So all those thinking it was just a slice of magic by Van Gaal should rethink.

Van Gaal is an expert in training young players. He might groom them to great players.

put simply, van gaal is a wizard of the highest order. Fvck gandalf the white when we have VAN GAAL THE RED!
Up united!
What kind of Wizard Gandalf Gets whooped 2-0 in the Champion league final by MoanRinho? Had a poor run at Bayern Munich till he was sacked.

Van Gaal is a genius but do not overrate him.

We won! we won!
LVG made a risky sub to bring in a goalkeeper that has not warmed up. He really had faith in Tim Krul and Tim Krul did a very good job.
What a fantastic goalkeeping by Tim Krul!
Tim Oral is one of the few Goal Keepers that won man of the match in the EPL. It is a difficult fit. Bringing in Tim Krul was not a risky substitution. It was the right thing to do.

Van Gaal does not produce immediate results. He takes his time to build and nurture his team.

Do not expect to be on top of the table soon.

Fifa adopted goal line technology only when engineers invented a means of knowing when the ball crossed the line wothout taking even 1 second away from the game. Like in the EPL, referees wear a wristwatch that beeps whenever the ball crosses the linen. No way that can slow the game. Controversy is part of what makes football an exciting game. From maradona' hand of God to England's ghost goal in 1966.. All ass excitement to the game. U win some u lose some.
The technology was there for years and FIFA refused to use it. Just as replay technology is available now.

With video replay technology, the so called robbing in football will be dead.

A corrupt body always fights truth and justice.

All sports except football uses technology.

Video replay technology? dude that is gonna make the game so boring. You mean like every controversial moment the game should pause whie they look at the replay? Hell no, that is tacking excitement out of the game. Have u watched aby Rugby Union match? They use video replay and I tell u it is so boring u don't want to see it used in football. Fifa has already gone through the pros and cons of using video reply and trust me they know the cons are more that the pros that's why they haven't adopted it. Maybe in the future when better technology comes in that won't slow the game down they can adopt it.. for now football is best served raw without loosing the excitement and controversies. Live with it.

Do u really think we would get to the second round if video replay was used? Of course we would have been knocked out by Bosnia.
Video Replay technology is used in every sports including lawn tennis and Basketball. They are never boring but add to the excitement. It takes seconds. It took about 2 minutes to take Onazi off the field. That is enough time for a fifth official to radio a message to the referee to send off Matuidi.

Goal line technology did not make the game more boring.

Mikel should have gone down.. that way even if Giroud didn't get a red he would have seen yellow. Do u think what that monkey keita did to the Greek player in 2010 was hard enough to make him fall? No. But the player went to ground which earned the monkey Keita a red card. Same thing Osaze did, Evra practically hugged him in the penalty box and he stood there, he didn't even protest to the referee. Football is not all about strength, its about tactics and ur ability to get decisions ur way. Our boys should go and learn.
Mikel going down or not is not the issue. That was a violent conduct by Giroud and he should have been sent off. The referee saw it.

Guy we have seen worse tackles that didn't result in a red card. We have also seen lesser tackles that resulted in a red. This is football where the referee has the final say depending on what he saw at the moment it happened. In this case, both players went for the ball, Onazi got the ball first, Matuidi missed. Ref gave a yellow card, it could have been red if it was another referee. But referee didn't see it as red.. this is not the first time this is happening. We lost to a tactically better team, get over it already. Sometimes we get the favor, sometimes it goes agaist us. But trust Africans, we have this inferiority complex and the excuse we normally have for our failure is racism, cheating,. match fixing, bla bla bla.
We do not want the favor. May be you do but I do not. We want the right thing down. That is an internationally trained referee. Not an average Joe learning his craft. That was a reckless challenge capable of ending a players career. It is a straight red. Not how the referee sees it.

By the way what Diego Maradona is letting us know is that, a reckless challenge is worse that a repeat offence of biting like in Suarez case. Things like that should be clamped down and banned by FIFA.

FIFA has used a replay to ban Suarez, they should use a replay and ban Matuidi for his recklessness.

By the way the reckless play by Matuidi and the elbow by Giroud are red card offences. The referee letting them stay on the pitch was a clear case of corruption and not Deschamps tactical superiority.

English media a powerful, that is well known by everyone, but it doesn't mean they have their way all the time. Goal line technology had been coming for a long time now and they would have adopted it eventually ; Frank Lampard's goal or not. It is true Lampard's goal added fire to it. Now for the fact that English Media is powerful is nobody's fault.. every press can as well make theirs powerful. England crashed out of the world cup with only 1 point... I didn't hear that press blame FIFA for their poor performance. They accepted they were shyte. But Nigeria lost and we all blame FIFA, who is the sore looser here? England and Nigeria are identical.. So many passion but no talents. The best England can produce in talent are fast and powerful players that lack talent in technical areas, same thing with Nigeria. You can imagine a player like Mata being on the bench for spain. This is a player that would walk into the starting 11 of England and play no 10. As far as England and Nigeria are concerned, we don't have a number 10, Nigeria hasn't had one since jay jay okocha.

But you never hear England fans or press blaming FIFA, they blame their players instead and accept they don't have talent. Even the fans didn't expect much from them in this world cup.
Let us stop pretending as if FIFA is not corrupt. They are.

So if you think FIFA do not know that replay technology in officiating and a stop watch system for dealing with stoppages will reduce corruption in the game then you are missing a lot.

FIFA and other sporting bodies know that for years from the 1966 World Cup which benefited England. They know goal line technology will help reduce wrong goal calls. FIFA and co. refused because they are corrupt.

After the Lampard incident, it was so glaring because the English Media cried to the heavens and FIFA had to use the goal line technology to cover their shame.

Now people like ROBben can get away with a blatant dive and Blake's Matuidi can get away with a reckless challenge when a simple replay and a fifth official can tell the referee it is not a penalty or send Matuidi off.

That is why we cry FIFA because they are corrupt.

U do realize we wouldn't have made it to the second round if dzeko's goal was not ruled out. About evra holding osaze, blame osaze for not protesting. This is where experienced players get the edge. If that was an experienced player he would have raised his hand up and gone to ground so the referee could see him. But osaze didn't even protest, no Nigerian player protested. Referees can't see everyone on the field especially when it is off the ball.

France took out our midfield powerhouse, that is strategy, not cheating as u call it. If we had been more tactical this wouldn't have happened. You all should stop whinning already.
You guys, stop bringing offside calls. The lines men can easily miss an offside call. That is not helping Nigeria.

When it comes to the referee seeing Giroud elbow Mikel and refuse to send him off, that is not the same as missing an offside call.

When the referee sees Robben dive three times and refuse to book him once, that is wrong.

The referee saw that the tackle by Matuidi was reckless. How on earth he stayed on the pitch is shocking and glaringly corrupt.

Should everything boil down to: "they did that because he's black"?
Please have a rethink and as it would do you a whole lotta' good.
Who is talking black white here. If Onazi did to Matuidi the same thing. He would never be on the pitch. He would have gotten a straight red and may be a ban. They are both blacks. So I am not just talking white or black.

cecegorz: The House of FIFA is already messed up but the day it will collapse fully is when people will refuse to buy any events ticket with the premonition that the games outcomes wee already pre-determined by rogue merchants.
It is time for Sepp Blatter to step down and let the executives review the governing policies. Among turning point decisions should be;

1. Candidates for FIFA presidency and other regions executives like CAF etc. must be less than 60years, and can only have a single tenure of not more than 6years
2. Strong penalties for anybody convicted of match fixing
3. Strong penalties for Fans convicted of racial abuses
4. Strong penalties for clubs that shield players/Fans involved in racial abuses
5. All regional executives that have stayed more than 6years in office should step down
Also Replay technology should be brought into the game for Offside calls, violent tackles and tug in the box.

Also a stop watch system should be brought in to the game. This their fake injury time tricks should stop.

mmmustapha: mikel and yobo should also be charge for match fixing, I believe yesterday's match was probably fixed.
I have stopped trusting our players.

As soon as those players started fighting for their bonuses. That is from Cameroon to Ghana to Nigeria, it was clear they were sure they were coming home because those matches were fixed.

Same with the ROBben dive. The testing of Six Costa Rican players instead of two after they beat Italy. The referee not sending off Giroud for an elbow against Mikel.

Diego Maradona is right here. Matuidi went to destroy Onazi's leg. His tackle caused more harm. But, every one is quiet. He is African. If Mikel had done this to Benzema, he would have seen a red card.

FIFA has displayed how corrupt they are. Same goes to the English press.
