Have you ever seen a player won the world best footballer award four times? Damn it man!! Even Pele knows the WC is the only medal Messi needs to surpass him.....drop d scorn nd lez pray he expoits this in the final.
He was no where the best player in 2010. If he is all that, Messi should win the World Cup Three times.

Oahray: well if the world cup were yearly, people would win it more than thrice. Pele played football in an archaic era.

Even Valdez has a world cup medal.
Valdez has one World Cup medal and I think Three Champions league medals.

The World Cup is number one.

Many argue that the World Cup tournaments of the past were fiercer and tougher. The tackles were harsh. Imagine The Teeth-removing collision between the German Goal Keeper Schumacher and French Battison. If Messi was in that era, his leg would have been broken plate.

European football is d standard for all footballersin club level and Pele never won its greatest prize...the CL. But Messi has.

I tell u. If mMessi wins this WC, he's greater than Pele.
Even Michael Carrick has Champions league medal.

The Champions league is not the greatest prize. It is so easy to play in and it is given every year. Xavi has three Champions league medals. Very few like Pele have Three World Cup Medals.

Messi has Three Champions league medals and no World Cup medal. That will tell you the level of difficulty of the World Cup.

The world cup of then and now aren't the same.

If it's 21 century Pele won't win more than one or even nothing. With all this rules in 21 century football.
Do your research. The World Cup has always been amazing. For instance, the Brazilian team of the Eighties were amazing and never won the World Cup. The Dutch team of the Seventies were amazing and never won the World Cup. Same with the Hungarian team of the Fifties.

Pele was amazing. Messi can not be the greatest without dominating the greatest footballing event which is the World Cup like Pele.

You want him to win only one and be crowned the greatest.

Abegii, u and I know that CL is tougher than WC. Pele playing in American league is like a shark playing in an aquarium. The guy never mingled with d big boys in CL.

Messi has seen it all.
How can Messi see it all when he has not seen Three World Cups. Are you saying the Champions league is tougher than this World Cup that Brazil was crying like if their Country was wiped out of the planet.

The World Cup is tougher. Players like Pirlo, Silva, Iniesta, Xavi, Rooney and many more did not know their BLOOD GROUP.

If it is in Champions league, We would have been calling Rooney, White PELE.

World cup

League title

Champions league.

Pele never entered Europe not to talk of winning CL.

If Messi wins this World cup, he's d greatest.

Why must playing in Europe be a criteria. If Messi is as great as a Pele who did not even enter Europe, win three World Cup let me see. Pele even won the World Cup at Seventeen years old. It is not Moi Moi.

Good riddance. I am glad they are out. These Dutch guys are monsters. Trying to get Argentine players injured. Vlarr had another head kick in the box again. He ended up losing a penalty.

Luis Van Gaal not looking smart today.
Pulled off Van Persie a proving penalty taker. Then did not do his goal keeper substitution.

Mascherano has been amazing. The man of the match so far. Followed by Vlar who has been nothing but a rock in that defence.

We are also witnessing the birth of a new Super Midfield maestro in Clasie. He is amazing. Good game. The second half picked up.

But where is the evidence that FG has anything to do with this.

Nigeria should take FIFA to court for bullying and include CAF in the suit. FIFA and CAF should also be compelled to stay action while the suit is determined. Our right to take part in all competition must be honoured while the suit is being determined!

Where is the evidence of Government interference here?

What is FIFA asking the Nigerian government to do do? That Government should overturn the verdict of the court? Are we not a Nation of laws?

If FIFA does not like the pronouncement of the court they can come to Abuja and challenge it on behalf of Maigari and his gang.

Honestly this is ridiculous!

Honestly, it is crazy. FIFA watches our government sink in billions of naira every year and the government is never banned for interference. As soon as our government asks for accountability, FIFA flexes their muscles by punishing young men and young ladies of the country who make a living from the sport.

I think it is time the government treats NFF as FIFA wants it to prevent this kind of insult.

Even though the Government has no direct link to this, FIFA has made it clear that if crooks run our football, our government has no right to demand accountability.

Either way, I opt for the government to stop funding the NFF.

Every member of FIFA understands the rules and guidelines as regards to government interference with football related activities and Nigeria is no exception, until NFF/ Sports administration in Nigeria become financially independent these issues would remain prevalent..
The truth is that the Federal Government should remove their hands totally from Football. No more pumping of money from the Federal Government into the NFF. So this nonsense should stop.

Lol. Ok. on a salary scale of N24m plus per annum, i earn more than that in a month. Does that still make sense to you? I am coming strictly from my perspective and so do not see how N700k amounts to 'making it'. Its less than a couple of guys monthly take home. That is my point, i have not in anyway suggested that N.7m is not good money, especially when won on a bet, but it does not go beyond the short term.
I think you meant to say you make more than that in a year. Not in a month.

They were outclassed by Spain at the World Cup 2010. Also in the Euros, the Germans still were not stunning. Now they are operating join a fantastic level. Yes Jupp Heynckes had a great effect in this team but Guardiola also did.

To prove to you this, Guardiola was the first to play Lahm as a defensive midfielder. In this World Cup, Lahm started playing as a defensive midfielder.

The specific way the data is used by SAP Match Insight by the German national team’s analytics team is a closely guarded secret during the World Cup tournament. But it’s safe to say that every effort is made to find uncover weaknesses in the opponents’ game and enhance the performances of the German national team with the help of incredibly detailed, real-time analysis – especially now, at the business end of the competition, when goals come at a premium and every slip up can prematurely put paid to a team’s trophy ambitions.

It’s one thing to collect and assess data, another one to communicate the conclusions effectively to players. That’s why usability is key. “We wanted the players to have easy access. SAP created an app that can be used by them individually, at a finger-tip, via their own digital devices,” Bierhoff explained. “Previously, if we wanted to run a player analysis, we had to make an appointment with that player and meet in a room that was fitted with video analysis equipment. The new app means that players can do their own match analyses whenever and wherever it suits them.”

[b]Amazing stuff of the German team and Big Data technical analysis.

Reep, the pioneer of football data analysis, would be amazed to find that millions of data points can now be collected and evaluated in real time. Coaches no longer rely on their gut feeling but let their decisions be guided by hard data. The players, too, benefit from more objective evaluation. Arsenal FC manager Arsène Wenger, one of the first high-profile managers to embrace analytics, once explained that professionals find it much easier to accept criticism if it’s backed up by hard data. “If I tell them that they pass the ball not quick enough, they might dismiss that,” the Frenchman said. “But if I show them the stats, it’s a different story”.

Every single team at the 2014 World Cup has had a dedicated performance and video analyst in their ranks. But few of them would have been able to use a tool as powerful and intuitive as SAP Match Insight. Devised with the direct input of German national team general manager Oliver Bierhoff, SAP Match Insight facilitates the analysis of training, preparation and playing performances. It also enables coaches and scouts to process vast amounts of data to assess key situations in each match.

“Today, each team is looking for innovative ways to gain a competitive edge over its rivals,” Bierhoff said in press conference in Campo Bahia, the German team’s base in Brazil. “We are representing one of the most successful teams in the world. The German Football Association is committed to providing the national team with the best technology to maximize their performance. SAP meets this demanding criterion”.
