She wished Oyeku would show up and tramples him, but she never knew that Oyeku would not show up for long. Chilo was breathing fast.

Mothersad whispers with a fearful pleading voice) please my daughter, take heart, don't make any sound, please.

Chilosad she tries to talk but a strong hand grabbed her, she struggled to break free) leave me! please leave me! I beg you, mother help me!

warriorsad grinning evily) olodumare! I applaud you for your work in the body of this daughter of Aro.

mothersad she launch at the warrior and caught his neck, as she screamed) leave my daughter! leave her you wretch! don't you dare.......( the warrior delivered a thunderous slap to her face that made her fall and lose consciousness.

warrior: ( he held Chilo tight to himself and prevented her from getting close to her fallen mother) good for you,you old wh0re!( he spat at her and faced Chilo, he released her) run daughter of Aro, run as far as your leg could carry you ( he laughed) run I say.

Mechanically, Chilo found herself sprinting away from the monster that stood astride her unconscious mother, she turned and hurried away as she choke on tears, she felt guilty for leaving her mother behind, but the fear of the monster got her keeping her distance.

Warrior: ( laughing evily) run you Wh0re!( he watched as she ran timidly, scaling weakly the rough forest terrain,he watched as her hips roll against her exposed waist beads. he licked his lips and gave a hot chase after her.

Chilo held her breath as the suspicions warrior rolled his eyes here and there as he searched for them, he was holding a machete in his left hand and a club in his right.
He had pursued Chilo and her mother for almost an hour, tracking them like animals,he had sighted them as they tried to escape out of Aro through the dark forest just like other Aros, but Chilo had caught his attention.
He could not get his eyes off the beautiful maiden,he watched as her waist rolled rhythmically like stumbling pots as she tried to climb up the rough bushy hill, surely he must feast from her womanhood,he must touch and squeeze those hips.

Chilo heart was in her mouth, she had never been so close to danger, seeing this fierce and evil looking man as he held the terror inducing machete send chills down her spine, she knew his intent,to rape and kill, the thought made her feel like screaming, but the same fear kept her from screaming.
She wished Oyeku would show up and relieve this animal of his head

Politics / Re: If You Kill A Herder, Don’t Go & Sleep, We Will Revisit You – Fulani Group Vows by Theideadoctor(m): 2:38pm On Feb 16, 2021
Odua1stson:
The national secretary of Fulani socio-cultural group, Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, Alhaji Saleh Alhassan, has vowed that the group is ready to retaliate the killing of Fulani herders in any part of the country.
In an interview with The Punch, Alhassan also said the group would resist any attempt to forceful eviction of herders out of the south-west region.
According to him, “Nobody has the right to evict herdsmen. If you say you are going to evict us, we will resist eviction. We have been surviving in harsh environments. If we do not resist, we will be wiped
out of the planet.
“If you kill a herder, don’t go and sleep, we will revisit you, and it’s not because we hate your tribe.
People attack herders, and in one way or the other, herders have found a way to retaliate,” Alhassan said.
He added that “All those who travelled to the Benin Republic and others are coming back home. All those saying they will bar foreign herders from entering Nigeria are just playing to the gallery because if they are aware of the ECOWAS Protocols, they would know they cannot chase them away. That is why the position of the Bauchi State Governor is the true position. You have no right to evict anybody from any part of the country.
“Our number has increased recently because of the tension in Ghana and Benin Republics. The ones in
Benin Republic have integrated with the Yoruba in such a way that they speak the language. They were initially living in the South-West, and they are coming back.
“They expected a reaction from us, maybe by way of attacking other ethnic nationalities. But that is wrong because the herders they are attacking are the innocent herders. Are the criminals representing anybody? They are doing their criminal enterprise.
Our own pain is that the people who are supposed to know are pretending as if they don’t know” he added.

Amaechi2023:
ethnic and religion crisis has happened in all parts of the country. in recent times I've come to understand that any crisis in the Southwest is always an avenue to loot.
anybody who has travelled to the west or stayed in the west would attest to the fact that every tragedy is an avenue to loot. from spoilt road, to protest, to street thugs, and now ethnic conflicts.

Fulanis has been attacking them in Oyo for years now but as cowards which they are eventually, they couldn't retaliate, despite them being killed in the open they always push for peaceful resolution all because they are cowards and scared of a reprisal attack.
they know stealing a fulani assets (his cow) would create a reprisal attack by the fulanis even if they die revenging.
just recently an hausa man like every other Nigeria got into a fight with a yoruba man's which led to the death of the yoruba man.
peaceful living hausa men shops were being looted in disguise of retaliation.
they could retaliate this well but could not do so to Fulani all this years.
as typical mouth makers they only flaunt their energy on those who tolerate them..
during the endsars saga, despite the protest rocking every part of the country,
the Southwest recorded the highest number of shop theft and looting..
why does every crisis in the west have to result to looting shops?
why

https://www.nairaland.com/6202761/photos-endsars-protest-clashes-hausas

innocent hausa traders attacked in the south during the endsars.
well it's pretty obvious policy of association doesn't work for a typical black man.
the tension has been created already.

the day we start to assimilate every word of critics by every southern against hausa would be revealed.

we are begging as northerner's an EYE for an EYE has no winner.
let the crisis end now.
if Fulani people will wait for Yoruba people like Hausa people, they would have been extinct in south west, one punch from my fist alone is liable to send those skinny bastards Fulani's to their early grave, but they would not wait, they kill and run, while Hausa kill and wait,Fulani are the weakest tribe in Nigeria and the biggest cowards too

I will make sure that these killing of innocent people will never go unpunished!!

They must be reaction for every action!!

Because it seems like the power you have been clamoring for is not coming your way...

You now decide to use this pattern of archaic politics for the north??

Media propaganda can help you spread all your lies and fallacy....

But one thing is that it can never manipulate the reality.
tell your people to be less tribalistic, if Hausas had surrendered their kinsman who killed to be avenged by Yoruba youth for the justice, this would not have happen, but instead hausas would rather start attacking Yoruba people because of their criminal brother, even here in Ilorin, Hausa's would commit crime, but they would not want their tribes men to be punished by Yorubas, why? you taught Yoruba people how to be violent, you brought out the demon in them, now deal with it,in as much your people would not be ready to be civil Yoruba boys are ready anytime, anyday, anywhere.

I never knew u are as dull & stupid as this
Talking about whoring, Yoruba women are d most shameless in d whole country.
Ur married & single women are being banged daily by northerners for free. Imagine a northern shoe maker or suya sella or watchman or herdsman using sweet mouth to seduce a married Yoruba woman & pound d Bleep out of her toto with his long desert prick. So many northerners have impregnated countless Yoruba women because Yoruba women give out their Toto for free

Ur talk about those Igbo girls shows how stupid u can be. Those Igbo girls are doing ashawo work. They are getting banged & paid, but most of ur women are banged tirelessly by Hausa/fulani men for free right there in ur own land.
Even d few ones that are paid as ashawos are being paid peanuts. If u survey any ashawo house, u will realize that Yoruba ashawos are d cheapest. They crave for northern dick & can Bleep a northern shoe maker for as little as N100, ( if d man decides to pay self grin).
As for ur men, they simply watch helplessly while northerners (some from Niger or Chad or even Mali) , bang their wives & single women to full satisfaction. They know that if they talk, their cowardly asses will be slaughtered.

Remember how a northerner, & bank manager, Adam Nuru from FCMB pounded a Yoruba married woman's toto & she even gave birth to 2 fulani kids for him while she was still married to her innocent Yoruba husband?

U are duller than a donkey.
Infact, a donkey is a professor of nuclear physics compared to you.

If u claim that Ilorin was not conquered by d Fulanis then why is their Emir ruling there up till now?

Or is there no Yoruba that is worthy of ruling Ilorin considering d fact u guys have more population there than d Fulanis?

Is it not mere cowardice that is preventing u from installing ur Oba in Ilorin instead of being subservient to a stranger Fulani man from Sokoto right in ur own land?

Was ur Oba not arrested during Mile 12 crisis with other Yoruba criminals & locked up where he was flogged & fed with watery beans? grin

Can d police try that with an Igbo king or a n Emir?

Remember that d Hausas killed so many of ur folks during that crisis right in ur own land & so many of ur pple had to seek refuge somewhere else.

U are here talking shit about Yoruba bravery when it has been well documented that ur ancestors were defeated & enslaved by women warriors from Dahomey grin

Whether u choose to believe it or not, Yoruba are highly cowardly in nature, tribalistic & are traitors. U can't use this recent attack on innocent unarmed Hausa pple in ur land as a yardstick for measuring ur delusional 'ruthlessness & bravery'.

Wake up & face reality fool.

primitive fool, I am not sure of your brain is working, Emir is still on is stool because some stupid Yorubas are supporting him, the day these yorubas eyes would open would be the day Alimi dynasty will end in Ilorin, look around, Yoruba's are everywhere in Ilorin, to attack the minor northerners is no hard work, but they see northern as Muslims as they are, so they would never attack them, so get it into your skull that Yoruba are strong, now go play with outside with your mates and don't argue with your superiors, Yorubas are great, anytime, anywhere, the whole earth bears us witness, but fools like you would not see it.

Ilorin was never conquered, the yoruba of Ilorin were only brainwashed with Islam to accept alimi as their leader in place of afonja who was a pagan, we are strong and powerful, our enemies only get us down when we are divided, go ask your father's how Ibadan warlord wasted your fathers at Oshogbo and they are still doing it now, Yorubas are not your mate,go boast supremacy over Hausa people, not on sons of oduduwa, you can't stand our wrath,f0ck off you slum.

The south west used to be a very peaceful region before now, just wondering what has happened to my belove region.

The governors, traditional rulers and the Nigerian law enforcement agencies need to do something urgently before things go out of control.

If proper care is not taken and this mess degenerated into a full scale war, south west may become the flash point.
yes, Yoruba are credited for been peaceful, but hostile neighbour had mistook their abstinence from violence as cowardice, in fact look at some nuisance on this forum that will always take the slightest chance to call Yoruba's cowards, their neighbours taught them to be bloody, Yoruba are naturally civil people who love every beauty of life, but Igbo's and Hausa had taught them to be hostile.

The only thing that ran on Oyeku mind as he escaped the great slaughter was how to get Chilo to safety. Chilo is his only responsibility now, he had left Uzo to fate, but he had to save Chilo, he had to get her out if the land.
He stumbled upon warrior who are already fleeing with their families, they were moving in incredible haste, Oyeku wish he could get Chilo already, the more she thought of her safety the more he increased his speed.

Oyeku had gotten to Chilo's hut,but there was no one there, the whole place was empty and silent, he ventured inside the hut,but there was no one, his heart sank, what could have happen? could they have left for ibiru already? No! Chilo would never leave without him,he was very sure of that,so where could she be?.

EKUN PALACE

The Ekun paced his court room, he was all alone, he had given order for all the royalty to leave, including his chiefs and Advisers, he had watched as his wives wept and pleaded for him to come with them, but he had sent them of with royal escorts to ensure their survival, the royal family must survive by all cost in order to revive the royal kingship in case Aro rise again.

He was born and weaned at Aro, he was born to live and die for Aro, he would die on the throne of his fathers, it would be a sweet death that will put a smile on his lifeless body, he would be welcome by his ancestors and by the spirit of those who rule Aro before him.

But the only thing that he regretted was the fact that he had failed his people, he had watched from his abode how his people scampered out of Aro for safety, he saw their fear and he knew that what fate had in store for them is worse than their current plight.

He sighed and sat wearily on his throne with his palm supporting his chin, he remembered when he was a young man,a crown prince, he would day dream of himself being a great king who rule with great wisdom, and a great warrior who will deliver his people from the yoke of Oyo, he dream of himself building a strong army, he dreams of laying a siege on Oyo and seizing their great Savannah and mountains, but the older he became, the clearer it was to him that those were just dreams and can never be real,Oyo is an elephant that cannot be carried.

He felt a sharp pain in his stomach, the pain grew sharper that it made him groan, he knew it,the poison is one of the strongest, it doesn't take it time to melt the stomach wall and pollute the blood stream. His eyes became dizzy, he began to sweat profusely, he fell on his knees as he touched his lips, he saw blood.

The moment he heard about the defeat of Aro warriors at the great stream,he had decided to end his life, he had decided to poison himself, at least, he would not live to witness further slaughtering of his people.
Gradually, he world went dark and the last thing he saw was the face of his father standing ashore the river of transition.

Aro warriors are scampering around as each man ran to his own house to get his family out of the land, Ichendu was not excepted, he ran without restraint, he had called a retreat which included himself, but Uzo valor had hunted him, he could not help but respect the valor and fearlessness of the young warrior, Uzo had really taken the glory of this war, even if Oyo win indeed, but surely Oyo had witness the strong heart of an Aro, and he would make them experience the second.
Ichendu had reached his hut, his wives are already with their loads as they waited outside the large hut, Ichendu could see his heavily pregnant young wife, she was looking really scared, her time of labor would soon be dawn, but he doubted if he would witness it.

Ichendu: ( clapping his palm together in haste) start moving women( he faced his pregnant wife and held her hand) come with me Arike.

He led her to the stable and untie the grey donkey, he dragged out the beast and helped Arike climb her,he pulled the donkey out towards the hut as the other women waited, he faced Adejo is eldest son.

Ichendusad he held his shoulders) you have to protect this women and your younger ones ( he swallowed) go to ibiru, keep them safe, you are a man now ( with haste) promise me that you would protect them, promise!.

Adejosad with tears) baba, come with us, please.

Arike: ( with tears) my husband, let go,I beg you.

Ichendu suddenly faced the direction of the chaos,he could hear the approaching Oyo warriors as they chant war songs.

Ichendu: ( he slapped the donkey and the beast jerked forward,he faces Adejo) go now son( he shouted) go now and protect your family ( he pushed the lad towards the entourage and watched him go,he could see them turning back to check if he had changed his mind and follow them, but alas!,Ichendu was firm on his ground.

For the millionth time,Oyeku screamed Uzo's name, but he would not turn back, even Ichendu the war chief had retreated, but Uzo would not turn back, he kept on slashing and hacking, dodging and kicking, he was soaked in blood, sand and sweat, his eyes were bloodshot and his eyeballs red as hot coal, indeed, everyone knew it wasn't Uzo that was fighting but a demon.

Uzo could feel his lungs burns, his stung at the hilt of his machete, his stamina was failing but still his heart was strong, he could see Aro men as the scramble away like mice, and it angered him, he hated how Oyo would boast that they put Aro on their feet and got them running.

He caught an Oyo warriors by his dreads and chopped of his head, blood splashed everywhere as he roared like a demon, Oyo warriors had got him circled but they were not attacking, Uzo understood that his time is near, he could see their evil frowns and their knitted teeth, but fear was never in his heart, a curse in him if he Cowes.

Suddenly, a warrior dashed at him, with the last ton of his strength, he embraced him with a stab to his heart, blood pumped out of the wound as Uzo squeezed harder with all the wickedness he could summon.
Uzo was on top of his the dying warrior when a spear fell on his chest to impale, but it wasn't passing through.
with great burst of strength he slashed at his attackers, but they backed away,he could see the amazement at the way the spear was harmless on him.

He staggered around weakly, but he was still firm in his heart, the Oyos had noticed his plight, he is the only standing warrior, the others are dead or fleeing.
A warrior hacked him on the head as the machete echoed with a bell like sound, pain shot through his head,he fell down and held his head with his palm, there was no blood, but the place had swollen.
He tried to stand up but he was hacked down again,he fell on his back and wriggled like an injured snake, he stared at the dawning sky, he could see the distance ray of light, but he knew he would not see the sun itself, except in the land of his ancestors.

From a far, Chilo could hear the noise, it was getting closer, it was not a noise of victory, nor of triumph, it was a noise of men who had fled death. She sat up weakly on her mat,her mother was fast asleep, she search for the lamp with her hands and lit it, she was feeling nausea, she hurried out of the hut with her lamp in her left hand as she covered her mouth with her right hand.

She threw up and try to support herself against a tree. For almost a week now, this is how she had been, always feeling tired and sleepy, her mouth would become heavy with saliva, and the nausea feeling too.

She managed to find her way to a stool at the front of the hut, she adjusted her wrapper and sat, the nauseous feeling was still coming up but she held herself, she hated the feeling, worst still she does not know the cause, now would be a better time to Inform her mother.

She sat for almost an hour at the cold of the night, she was more comfortable outside than the warm room, there she was when someone ran past her, she became alerted and stood up,she tried to see the entity when another ran past her, she could see the latter, he was a warrior, he ran with his machete dangling uselessly in it sheath, " what is happening? " she thought.

That was when it dawn on her that Aro had lost the war, these are fleeing warriors, Aro had fallen, her mind quickly went to Oyeku, what had fate done to him now? how does he fare? she felt weak, her knee shook violently as she collapse and fainted.

Oyeku was almost lost in sleep when he noticed the shadows, the bonfires were dim but he could still make up shapes from the distance, he was in a state of confusion when he saw a movement and a guard dropped dead, then another and another.
He was so shocked that he lost his voice, before he knows what next, he saw Oyos leaping from man to man as they slaughter Aro warriors.

Suddenly, there was a scream as Aro warriors rose on their feet and tries to comprehend their attackers but the surprise was too great for them to comprehend, Oyos had rounded them up in a flank as they slaughter with all wickedness.

Oyeku saw as one unfortunate Aro warrior was stabbed brutally by two Oyo warriors, he could see as is intestinal contents spilled on the ground, anger built in him, he picked his spear as he rolled to make a fight stance, a warrior came for his head, but he docked and gave him a great kick that split his jaw, Oyeku sprang and stabbed a warrior chest as his spear struck to his chest, he tried to removed the spear as the unfortunate warrior vomited blood.

Oyeku was busy with a warrior when he heard the familiar growl, Uzo is in action, he was stabbing and cutting like a mad man, arms and heads were flying around him, with his double machete, he stabbed two warriors at one and sent them flying with kicks.

The Aro camp was filled with screams and pain, Oyos kept on coming like locusts, the Aros are struggling to stay alive, but they had ran out of luck, men fell left and right,it was terrible, Aro men had started running away, they are heading towards the village as oyos slaughter them as they ran.

CHAPTER TWENTY

TWO MOON LATER

Oduaye watched as the the torch burnt out out and a deep black smoke oozes out of the dry wood, he could see his men do the same, they were putting out the fire in their torches as they sailed silently towards Aro camp at the end of the stream.

They rowed silently and ensure that there was no disturbances on the stream, the darkness was a thick one,so the Aros would not see a thing. They advanced towards the uninformed Aro warriors, Oduaye observed from the short distance, Aro camp was disorganized.

That was his plan,to create an impression that Oyo is no longer interested in the war, then the Aros would start relenting in their defense. Oduaye had waited two moons for this moment, now he would take out the Aros unaware.

The first raft hit the shore, and warriors gently highlighted and moved silently to the warriors at the upper cliff of the stream. The Aro camp bonfires were going out already, there was little light.

Oduaye motion to his warriors to stay still as he moved on his belly towards the camp, he spied on the camp, there were four guards standing, but there were drowsy, the other warriors were sprawled carelessly on the floor as they slept.

He gave sign for his men to move forward, they did, silently and carefully Oduaye tiptoed to the drowsy guards and cut the throat of the first one as covered his mouth from screaming, the other three guards were shot down by Oyo archers as they roll on each other, dead!

He swallowed hard as his heart beat fast, Chilo was relentless, she stood up and unwrapped herself, Oyeku mouth was wide open in amazement and fear, behold, Chilo was fully naked.

Oyeku: ( trying to wrap her up quickly) what are you doing? I am not ready for this( he look around to see if Chilo mother is in sight) Chilo please don't put me in trouble.

Chilo;(grinning) fear, that is your problem, fear!( she moved closer and held her breast with her palm) here, hold them, they won't bite you, come on.

Now Oyeku knew he is finished he should have run away before it got to this, but now, he could not deny himself anymore, he want Chilo badly. His eyes traveled rapidly from her feet upward to her face,he saw her womanhood, her pointing nipples which she was pinching as it bounded elastically from her breast,he could see her grinning face, her smile was so inviting.

Oyeku: ( he grabbed her hand with his right hand and push down his risen manhood with his left, he was breathing fast) follow me.

Oyeku was moving fast with Chilo trying to match his pace as her hand were firmly attached to Oyeku palm.

Chilo knew she had gotten him, she giggled silently, she could could see him handle his organ as if he would break it, this night would be remarkable in her life, today Oyeku would make her a woman, he would tear her hymen, she would lose her virginity.

The thought was scary, but all the same, she was still excited and glad that Oyeku had give in to her, if Oyeku could make love to her, then she would worry less of losing his love, especially,if the act brings forth a fruit.

They were getting closer to Oyeku hut,Chilo decided to play prank with Oyeku mood.

Chilo: ( grinning) Oyeku, where are you taking me to and what are you trying to do?

Oyeku: ( turn back, surprised but not slowing down) what do you mean?

Chilo: ( feigning innocence) where are you taking me to? please I want to go home.

Oyeku: ( he stopped) your prank won't work today ( he resume as he pulled her forward).

They had reached the hut, Oyeku help her inside the hut,the inside was warm and cozy in contrast with the outside weather, the room was totally dark, but Oyeku knew the way,he led her to his room and stopped as he faced her.

Oyeku was breathing fast and hard, he moved his hand on her body down to her waist and search for the edge of her wrapper, he found it and strip it off.
