I filled a DS 160 for my daughter and I and got an appointment for both of us but I tried completely the DS 160 as I hadn’t submitted it yet and can’t find mine only my daughters own comes up. Can I fill a new one for myself? If yes what about the DS 160 no’s on my appointment booking?

Yes you can fill another DS160 form and log into the cgi site, update your form number before printing out the confirmation slips

Nobody cares about her taxes or invitation letter. You aren’t listening are you? Just for a tourist visa you’re gathering all these documents? Honestly are you really tryna visit or ?? Those VOs have exactly 0 seconds to view documents at the interview and you too reason am now..... your friend is trying to bring you, a foreigner to look after her child in the states... as in?? Does it sound right to you?

Please I have a question and needs urgent reply , I applied to US visa this morning 22 March 2021 and couldn’t find any interview date available this year again. The only available date is January 25 to 28th. Right now my question is if I can’t get an interview date this year, January won’t be possible due to some reasons, can I wait for more later dates to pop up to like April 2022.... will the visa application expire if I don’t pick any date now ?. Thanks

This depends on how much longer they extend grace to applicants to be able to move dates due to the Covid situation

Gud evening, pls someone should enlighten me on this, my passport will expire next year march and I can't get earlier appointment date except around next Nov to Jan which ll have made my passport expiring date less than 6 month. Now my question is can I use my current passport to apply for visa appointment now and present the new passport (yet to be obtained) at the time of interview as my current passport will be less than 6 months as at the time of interview? I believe one of the requirements is to submit a passport that’s no less than 6 months valid at the time of interview. You can get a new one and update the passport details on your profile before your scheduled date

I have applied for renewals of my visa from one of the EU countries and never got denied while I was a student. Actually she’s got options, my recent visa, I applied from Nigeria cos I was there visiting and I got it

Hahahah e choke oo but na God cos the intensity of rejections happening at this time is not even funny. I sat inside cos of my son by the play area while others were seated at the waiting area outside the interview hall and all I was just hearing at the opposite side was no and sorry you don’t qualify for visa!

Tbh, I think the real problem comes from the people paying these sums. What exactly is a mock interview? For the visa? As per he’s the vo or the relative or what? Mock as in you tell them what or what not to say? Or after the mock, you convince them that their answers will give them a visa
That’s seriously taking advantage of people but then again he named his price and some people were/ are willing to pay...

Honestly, I don’t know but I’m sure it’s definitely not only first timers they reject. They let me sit inside by the play area cos of my son, opposite the interview area and some people were really low so I couldn’t pick up on the conversations plus tryna make sure he doesn’t destroy the whole place, my attention was divided.

It’s pm that I know of though, Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays specifically it’s like a magic lol but you can be on the lookout at night too... just be consistent and patient, it’ll eventually come through. All the best

Any VO that denied visa for you deserve a serious beating

They even had to call the security on two people that were a little ahead of me cos they kept telling VO it’s unfair to reject them and please reconsider, what’s the reason for the denial etc?? VO stayed calm the whole time and kept saying we have strict immigration rules and sorry you don’t qualify for visa at this time, nobody is above our laws�... funny, a good number of people there were first timers so the rejections were just as much

Its been like this like forever. My first and only Visa Interview was in 2008 and even at that time a lot of rejections including a banker.

Bankers then were privileged career people not to talk of now that banking job is not regarded as anything. I can imagine that lot more people are now applying even if not qualified. Many try their luck and some are lucky though.

It was raining rejections and sorry you do not qualify for visa at this time. Guys, people were crying today and the person in front of me was a bank manager and they still rejected her oo...
Was a really friendly VO, but still was telling people no, got to my turn and it was a pretty easy Q&A session.... just wanna thank God cos what a day ���

You have to be careful oo. I’d say let this person do it first and get your confirmed date before you pay for anything because these are desperate times.

Yes they are gradually getting back to “regular “ now. Mine was a regular renewal. But I picked December as travel date. I only picked an interview date in March cos that’s the only date I saw.
Anyway, I’m sure the three that got approved were renewals, don’t know if there were renewals in the 20 something rejected sha
