piscesnow:Yes you can fill another DS160 form and log into the cgi site, update your form number before printing out the confirmation slips |
KeleDon:Nobody cares about her taxes or invitation letter. You aren’t listening are you? Just for a tourist visa you’re gathering all these documents? Honestly are you really tryna visit or ?? Those VOs have exactly 0 seconds to view documents at the interview and you too reason am now..... your friend is trying to bring you, a foreigner to look after her child in the states... as in?? Does it sound right to you? |
Gabriel2lucky:This depends on how much longer they extend grace to applicants to be able to move dates due to the Covid situation |
makforex:I believe one of the requirements is to submit a passport that’s no less than 6 months valid at the time of interview. You can get a new one and update the passport details on your profile before your scheduled date |
Nancyamah:I have applied for renewals of my visa from one of the EU countries and never got denied while I was a student. Actually she’s got options, my recent visa, I applied from Nigeria cos I was there visiting and I got it |
Abuleoshi:Hahahah e choke oo but na God cos the intensity of rejections happening at this time is not even funny. I sat inside cos of my son by the play area while others were seated at the waiting area outside the interview hall and all I was just hearing at the opposite side was no and sorry you don’t qualify for visa! |
myke1975:Both Lagos and Abuja conduct interviews daily |
Janet200:Tbh, I think the real problem comes from the people paying these sums. What exactly is a mock interview? For the visa? As per he’s the vo or the relative or what? Mock as in you tell them what or what not to say? Or after the mock, you convince them that their answers will give them a visa That’s seriously taking advantage of people but then again he named his price and some people were/ are willing to pay... |

Pretty much, seems like that first timer ruined their chances. They have to try again and be able to convince the VO becauseeeeeee right now the level of bouncing taking place at the embassy is extremely severe... |
seyewest:So accurate!!!! Can’t even take that person seriously and I’m sorry for anyone that even tries to reach out to him. Whoever seems bored af and desperate!!! You left the United States filled with the so called specs you want and came to nairaland?? This is how people get missing or killed... tuehhh!! Ladies be careful please |
Kemo88:I totally second this, keep that distant cousin distant at this time cos those that have immediate relatives still get rejected onezlllyyyy!!!! |
Kemo88:I was still having some “hope” since I was doing mine in Abuja and you did yours in Lagos but, but!!!!! Those people aren’t smiling at alllll... some two siblings even applied as per emergency to go for their mothers funeral, they got a very loud NO!! At that point I just knew that even being regular in the states cannot really save you oo, it is well |
Kemo88:Eezzz not oo, on the website it still says the waiver program has been suspended in Nigeria since 2016. Ofcourse the keyword is NIGERIA!!! It’s always a problem |
fkj950ax:Lmao!! The struggle is very real outchea!!! So many dating platforms but someone decided to come here scouting smh |
mane48:Honestly, I don’t know but I’m sure it’s definitely not only first timers they reject. They let me sit inside by the play area cos of my son, opposite the interview area and some people were really low so I couldn’t pick up on the conversations plus tryna make sure he doesn’t destroy the whole place, my attention was divided. |
planetx:Hahahah, indeed!!! ruined and utterly destroyed lmao |
Okpf:It’s pm that I know of though, Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays specifically it’s like a magic lol but you can be on the lookout at night too... just be consistent and patient, it’ll eventually come through. All the best |
oluayebenz:Hahahahah!!!!! They even had to call the security on two people that were a little ahead of me cos they kept telling VO it’s unfair to reject them and please reconsider, what’s the reason for the denial etc?? VO stayed calm the whole time and kept saying we have strict immigration rules and sorry you don’t qualify for visa at this time, nobody is above our laws... funny, a good number of people there were first timers so the rejections were just as much |
megastu:Yeah, you’re totally right! Also saw today that being single is like a very straight line to getting a refusal at this time |

Oh that’s good! I’m a doctor too with 3 previous US visas and a US citizen son. My last visa expired in December. Was lucky enough to get a date but travelling pretty soon |
Good afternoon everyone. Went for my interview today and got my visa approved and I really want to thank God. I just want to say that if you have visa, use it before it expires cos what I saw today, you won’t even understand if you haven’t been there recently- SO MANY REJECTIONS AND SORRY YOU DONT QUALIFY FOR VISA AT THIS TIME! They are not even smiling oo. Good luck everyone |
Hello everyone, I had my interview today and got my visa approved ... It was raining rejections and sorry you do not qualify for visa at this time. Guys, people were crying today and the person in front of me was a bank manager and they still rejected her oo... Was a really friendly VO, but still was telling people no, got to my turn and it was a pretty easy Q&A session.... just wanna thank God cos what a day |
presiade:Finally finally shaaa, don’t try it lol.... there’s actually someone that collects money SmhKeep being on the lookout, you’d probably find a closer date yourself, from what I’ve read here people find dates around 1-3pm so keep trying. |
Jegsgirl:You have to be careful oo. I’d say let this person do it first and get your confirmed date before you pay for anything because these are desperate times. |
Kemo88:Ah! I go just start to dey feel cold lol... that’s a lottt of rejections in a moment! Imagine those before and after you |
Kemo88:Haha, you’re an OG!! Congratulations Seriously these interviews are never a breeze The nerves always kick in |
Kemo88:Haha!! Fear dey catch me sef! So they were rejecting new applicants? I thought they weren’t even attending to regular interviews just emergencies. How wrong I was! All renewals got approved?? |
oluayebenz:Omo fear grip me sef!lol This was a really long and drilling interview wow. |
