people in imo can hardly be blamed. The supreme court readded votes cancelled by prof otunta (imo returning officer) in some lga's . The justification was that he had no jurisdiction to cancel the votes (true) even though the result sheets showed votes outnumbered accredited voters.

The supreme court was also aides by inec claiming those cancelled result sheets and deliberately turned a blind eye to the electoral law that states that when counted ballots out number accredited or registered voters, the election is to be cancelled.

I'm not a fan of the present administration. But lets give honour to whom honour is due. The plan for the second Niger bridge was first proposed during the OBJ regime. Late President Yaradua moduled the project before his sudden demise and GEJ whom took after him, had 5 years to act upon it. He took to turn the project into campaign bait for SE votes. The project is presently on- going, thanks to the present administration.

For the specification of the model, the bridge is 1.6Km long with a 10.3km highway which runs from Owerri with an interchange at Oba, Anambra state and terminates at Asaba in Delta State.

The picture with the round -abouts is from 2011. Peter Obi's Awka. The round-abouts were demolished in 2014 to give way to the 3 flyovers in the city. If you can replicate the pictures with a watermark to prove it was taken in 2021, I will transfer the sum of 20k to you or delete my account.

PS: I've been to Owerri countless times. It's an average Nigerian city with planned suburbans and shanty slums. I would still see myself as a a child trapped in an adult's body, should I label the city by just a portion of a slum. Every city has it slum, especially in this part of the world

When the new Governor (hopefully, Soludo) takes office, and with the expected improvement in the states finances, he should embark on the construction of a terminal-2 within say 3 years!

I'm not so much a fan of the incumbent governor. But it's remarkable that he has already started the airport project. The argument now should shift from asking how viable it would be, to asking about the necessary facilities that could be put in place to make it more viable. The incoming administration should start from wherever this incumbent government ends. That's what continuity is all about

For the wise-by-the-halves arguing how unviable the upcoming airport project would be, na bad belly go purge you una. You're venting your fustration into a project that does not affect your life in any dimension. You all should channel your wisdom and analysis into lifting your respective state from abject poverty- "Ubiam"
