mama-gee:

Duh because as human beings we try as much as possible to blame our misfortunes on other people
Does this deserve a thread, abeg mods lock this thread up
.

Sometimes I wonder how we humans react to situations. They say "one man's meat is another man's poison", that said I don't expect you to comment on every thread that comes up, read and when you don't like it don't comment move on to another.

I read an article and like it and decide to post it hear for others to read and give their opinion if you don't have any then SHUT UP!

Nairaland / General / Re: 20 Bus Passengers Electrocuted In Port Harcourt by thejonny09(m): 8:44pm On Feb 14, 2010
The Slaughter bus stop happens to be my route to and from work weekly since I leave at PH Town and work at Onne. I am one of the few people that will THANK GOD daily, I was returning from work that morning when the incident happened if not for the early morning traffic jam at the Worji bridge that morning that delayed our bus coming from Akpajo to Slaughter I probably would have been among those poor victims.

The Police report is false because I saw the victims lying there on the road they were more than 30 persons I saw myself already dead, the cable cut and fell on two buses loading Agreey (PH Town), one was filled up with 18 persons while the other was loading and there are food and alcoholic vendors, recharge card vendors and people that just hang around because of the rain when the cable cut.

It is such a tragedy, I which PHCN should be sued for poor maintenance of their installations. And I which and pray that God should remember these poor victims in the day of his resurrection.
Romance / Re: My Boyfriend Said That I Seduced Him by thejonny09(m): 5:38am On Feb 13, 2010
In your earlier post you said you have ‘found love and that it so sweet’, am sure that’s the person you were referring to.

That means you love him and he treated you fine. Now that you want him to do more things against his faith you come here to disgrace him and his religion.

Every religion has its principles from Catholic, Pentecostal, Anglican, Eck to Islam, they do have what they hold sacred. I bet if it was somebody from any other religion you wouldn’t come here to shout. You forgotten that IT TAKES TWO TO TANGLE.

The issue of seduction. The point is both of you committed fornication, you are as guilty as he is stop using it against him as if you are a saint. For VAL, people that show love only on this day are selfish and stingy. Love is to be shown always and all the time not on some agreed date.

Stop disgracing and calling people names when there is disagreement, it is a immature, foolish and stupid thing to do.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Man U Is This Not Match Fixing? by thejonny09(m): 7:53pm On Dec 18, 2009
Wolves lost 3-0 at Old Trafford on Tuesday and McCarthy was widely criticised and asked by the Premier League to explain why he had made 10 changes to the team that had beaten Tottenham Hotspur the previous Saturday.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger added his voice to the debate by saying he now only had 37 games in which to compete with United, instead of 38, because of McCarthy's actions.

Abeg is this not match fixing because am smelling some funny stuff from United. This people always have away of carrying this league, I hope they remember Juve and AC?
Business / Re: New Amusement Business For Kids And Families by thejonny09(m): 3:47am On Dec 18, 2009
@post the research is correct nothing much is being done for the kids in nigeria. so i belive the business is a good one, nevertheless, for the city i'll choose port harcourt since there is done but in lagos and abuja they have something in that direction. for the middle class the fare decides that. will it be welcome? yes very much. contact me on thejonny2009@live.com or more information.

Romance / Re: Circumcised Girl? by thejonny09(m): 5:10am On Dec 14, 2009
@mama-gee this is an age long practise.

Like its male counterpart, circumcision of females has two histories. First it is a ritual or customary practice among tribal societies (mostly in Africa) and some Islamic communities. Secondly it is a medical intervention, justified by Victorian (and, in the USA, some twentieth century) doctors in exactly the same way as they rationalised circumcision of boys: to deter masturbation, to treat obscure nervous disorders such as hysteria, neurasthenia and epilepsy, and thereby to promote health.

As earlier as 6000 (?) BCE Circumcision (male and female) practised as puberty rite by tribes in north-eastern African and Arabian peninsula
Travel / Re: First Commercial Flight To Akwa-ibom From Abuja Airport (with Arik Air) by thejonny09(m): 11:42pm On Dec 13, 2009
On Saturday 12-12-09 in CNN Richard Quest Traveler show, they shown how some guys are buying old aircraft cut off their parts and use them for furniture like bed, reception desk, office desk etc. Okada Air is the man dead, how about his family; they should sell off those aircraft and make fortune from it rather than wastage.

@ selingel and enjoyment1 thanks for this brief and informed aviation pictures you guys really have passion for it. What is wrong with Chanchangi?
Romance / Re: Circumcised Girl? by thejonny09(m): 10:20pm On Dec 13, 2009
@kpolli she is from a tribe in rivers state.

True it makes lady not to reach their peak. A friend told me how he sweet it out with a lady circumcised and when he was successful the lady is always coming for more. She told him she loves sex. With this story of a friend I think circumcision does not stop the ladies from loving sex but the man need to work harder.

Romance / Circumcised Girl? by thejonny09(m): 6:36am On Dec 13, 2009
I know circumcision is frown at in the world generally. But few are still practicing and advocating it. I met a girl that advocates it although not circumcised yet but their tradition demand circumcision after marriage because they believe it will stop infidelity in women.

My NL people will you marry or date such a girl? Even though you may not subscribe to circumcision do you think it reduces a woman’s love for sex considering the fact that her clitoris is cut? I welcome your contribution.

Romance / Re: Face Book Xmas And Naija Babes by thejonny09(m): 8:30am On Dec 09, 2009
@sweetcoint. what is lies in the topic? sometimes i wonder how humans get to conclusion so easily. if something is said and you don't accept that shouldn't be the reason for concluding that the information is false.
Romance / Re: Face Book Xmas And Naija Babes by thejonny09(m): 10:33pm On Dec 07, 2009
The one I asked said she just got hooked up with a Naija Yankee guy that is coming home this festive period, she wants him to feel her love. So I asked how about when he return to Yankee? She replied if the relationship sucks she will have to change it back to single. I say carry go.

My conclusion the girls are actually getting hooked up, is a better thing but please let it last. I hope the guys are not just coming to have fun?

others refuse to comment.

Romance / Re: Marriage Without Much Cash by thejonny09(m): 10:02pm On Dec 06, 2009
@poster. Money no dey bele full. If a girl love's you money is secondary whether you are as poor as church rat she will always be there, just be truthful, appreciate and love her and be a focus and hardworking guy; thats the password, life continues. women have the ability of encouraging and pushing their love ones to a height you never expect. Testimony are every were, most great men never had anything but their wivies were there with them and fought the "enemy" poverty away.

Politics / Re: Police – Law Enforcement Or Arm Robbers? by thejonny09(m): 9:18pm On Dec 06, 2009
@don sorry man i can't joint the Police am far away from that group. To make it better I think they need to sack the old guys they are the people spoiling the educated new and young guys employed into the force.

@amaka. greed is their problem even if they pay them good money the 20, 20 naira will still be there. this guys are too greedy. Lets pray that the rebranding gets to our police, I wonder if it will work.
