Now na subscribers numbers me just dey hustle for.

You hear say HBOMax don adjust their projections and are targeting 120-150 million subscribers by 2025. That's a huge boost from initial 75-90 million earlier projected.

I just dey patiently wait till June when HBOMax go launch in more territories make I whine those wailers and Netflix Di©kriders for Movie thread.

For HBOmax and WM to adjust their projections, that's to let you know that the subs are increasing well.

HBOmax is currently the second streaming service with the highest revenue (in the US) behind netflix. Another reason why netflix should be worried cos by the time GOT: House of the dragons come out next year, the subs go increase like mad.

Disney + is also doing tremendously well too.

I won't take anything from Netflix though, all they need to do is make more stranger things asap, more quality superhero movies/shows, more gaming movies/shows (the hottest thing rn) and have a show that deals on wizardry or dragons.

At the end, the fans wins...Make we dey watch sha

RT has been slowly becoming useless and irrelevant in recent years now, and it's intensifying. Now what most people or fans use it for is as some form of trolling rival companies you hate or validation point for how good your fave franchise is.

What they tried to do to Joker made me decide to never ever trust RT again (unless they flush out like 90% of their critics).

They did the exact same thing to venom because it was sony and not disney/mcu.

But true marvel fans (not fake BO mcu fans) stood by venom and made it successful.

Harley Quinn failed because they didn't give the fans what they actually wanted. The didn't do any Justice to any of the characters except Harley Quinn. Cos of Margot Robbie they made other characters less interesting and stupid so as not to take her shine. Now they know it's a woeful mistake. They had to make Cassandra Cain (Batgirl) a thieving lil bïtch.
Also don't forget that Cathy Yan nonsensical stunt with "Dï©k pic in diamond" Black Mask story which was cut by WB.

In case you don't know making Batgirl/ Cassandra Cain a little kid is the primary hate for the movie from fans and also excluding the main Batgirl (Barbara Gordon) from HER team. Also making Black Canary and Huntress losers and quippy bït©he$ and making Harley leader and founder of the team.

Harley is more popular but as you can see doesn't possess the draw a "Batgirl" has. She's a villain after all. And there's more than enough villains in the Batfamily rogues gallery to form a movie Universe on its own. It's just WB loves recycling more popular characters and playing it safe.

Why you see some fans clamouring for Deathstroke, Nightwing or Batgirl is because people are tired of always seeing Batman and Joker all the damn time, especially that Batman origin story with his parents death. There's at least 10-20 different solid characters to focus on.

You can't deny the fact that Rotten Tomatoes is influential though biased.

If Zack Snyder's Justice League finally lands somewhere in the 60s percent range and pulls in huge streaming numbers, I'm sure WB will make some changes on upcoming projects.

I agree and disagree.

Yes, they are influential when you give into them, but as long as you stand and support a movie, no amount of influence from RT can stop it from succeeding.

Take for example, MoS and BVS...The fake critics brought it down with their lies and bias criticism which pushed the studio to make silly decisions that hurt the franchise and resulted to exactly what the paid critics wanted.

But in the case of Aquaman and Joker, paid RT critics failed because the fans stood behind the movies. They never flinched despite all the desperate attempts to bring these movies down. Remember the heavy criticism aquaman received? how paid RT critics said that aquaman was a mess? How aquaman used CGI and not real water when humans were talking etc?

Joker's case was even worse. These fake critics went to the extent of claiming that people will be shot and killed in the cinemas if joker was release. They used news from army, fbi etc to incite fear and tried to dissuade people from watching it.

But what happened at the end? Aquaman and Joker were massively successful because the FANS stood by them.

The real influential people here are the fans not the critics.

Posting anything from RT now will make it look that you have accepted their bias ratings.

Zack is a great director, but his creativity was undermined by WB's greediness and bad writers.

the rum0rs aren't true. Snyder has already written off directing a cb m0vie f0r marvel. And that was in a recent interview days ago. Go read it. He said his style and visi0n is t0tally different fr0m what marvel would want, and wouldn't want to risk the wb fiasco again. Snyder is d0ne with CBs. He said it with his m0uth. He has other projects he wants to adapt. I doubt he would do star wars.

what's the point of a batgirl movie now? You have 3 Batmans (two in the DCEU ) and a Batwoman series, add that to the upcoming GCPD series, all these guys will be sharing basically the same villains in different iterations. Two much Cowl wearers.

Harley Quinn is more popular than Batgirl but her movie flopped because amongst other things, nobody ask for the movie.

TBH, nobody knows why they intend doing a Batgirl movie.

Maybe sjw things or maybe the demand is there.

Batgirl/Oracle will appear in Titans season 3, so if the reception to Batgirl is there, then the movie will be greenlit
